I have reviewed this hotel in the past and had only good things to say about our stay. This review is different. While the location and the property itself are still excellent my wife had a very bad experience with the reception on 22 April 16. After her doctor appointment on 21 and the morning of 22 she did not feel well enough to travel back to Koh Samui and asked I book her another nights stay on line. At 11:00 a lady from the front desk called her room and demanded she come to the front desk... Read more

This isn't the standard of hotel that we would normally stay at, but following an accident my husband was in Bumrungrad hospital and this hotel was booked for me by my insurance company. The good points: the staff were friendly, the room was pleasant and clean, the security was good, the wifi was good. I had a nice balcony. The 'not quite so good': there was no outside lounging area or pool, the small dining room had 3 large tv screens and there was also background music which was always th... Read more

This was a one night stay as I was meeting up with friends for a night out after arriving in Thailand before heading up to Chiang Mai . We had stayed here before for a similar reason about 18 months previously. One of the good things about the hotel is that it has a check in time of 12pm rather than the more common 2pm of most hotels. I was checking in a little early and everything was going well until they realised my booking was for only one night. This is when they tried to move me to their n... Read more

we Had to stay skyy hotel as we did nto get booking in FuramaXclusive for last 3 days of our trip.We booked two rooms and they provided us a connecting room. the main bedroom was a bit spacious and there was a corridor, but the connecting room was too small. There was a balcony in the main bedroom. We had to stay as there was no adjecent rooms available in the same floor. The hotel is near Bumrungrad Hospital and in a quite place. Phloenchit BTS is near. Rooms are clean, people are helpful. brea... Read more

We selected Skyy because I had a appointmtent at Bumrungrad hospital. We booked and paid for a Executive room. The night reception put us in a Deluxe room, which was smaller. I showed I paid for the larger room. The receptionist then acted as if she forgot how to speak English and started speaking Thai. When she realize my Chinese looking wife was actually Thai, her English remarkably came back, only to tell us to wait for the manager in the morning. We talked to the manager who said we were alr... Like the person from the previous review, I booked for an executive room and was given a tiny room that did not match the photos on the site. It was also infested with flies. I complained to the staff - who kept trying to tell me that I was in the right room and kept telling me that both myself and the website were wrong. Eventually, after maybe two hours of arguing (the reception were also simultaneously dealing with a similar complaint from an Arab lady) they eventually moved me to the execu... Read more

We put in our reservation to check in early as we had travelled on overnight sleeper from Koh Phangan and would be arriving at hotel much earlier than normal check in time. When we got there the reception team could not be MORE unhelpful. Said our room WAS ready but we weren't allowed it unless we paid 600 THB. We were not paying more than we have done when it has been totally fine in other hotels. When we asked for a manager we were told they aren't in. Then we were told to wait till the aftern... OK value for money. No hot water in the shower and the room didn't smell to great. Staff were not particularly helpful. Wifi wouldn't connect. Good points was that it was close to hospital and sky train

The Skyy Hotel is another new hotel in Nana red light district. Set a little way up on Sukhumvit road Soi 1, the hotel has a complete fresh look in a quiet neighborhood not far away of the all action. Superior rooms are cheaper, smaller and liveable, the deluxe rooms slightly higher but larger and highly recommended. Nana entertainment Plaza about 5 minute walk.

I was meeting some friends here but arrived 2 nights prior to our booking and they only had a higher class of room available. They were kind enough to upgrade me to stay in that same room on both legs. Modern clean bedrooms excellent AC, comfy beds and black out curtains with a very high level of service. Excellent hotel all round.

The Skyy hotel was a very relaxing place with a very helpful staff! Checking in was a breeze with no problems! After my long flight from Boston it was refreshing just to unpack in a nice clean air conditioned room! The location was in walking distance to the Main Street, but you could always find transportation!

We booking 3 person for one room, (one double with extra bed). The room are so small. Can't walk properly. And also breakfast is bad. Daily same menu. Didn't provide tooth paste and tooth brush. Never go back.

Good Hotel. A bit overpriced due to its prime location though. You can get similar hotels with lower price elsewhere especially if you are not too particular about your location. (Bangkok is blessed with a great public transportation system. So I would not mind staying in a not-so-central location.)

This hotel is used by a lot of people needing access to the Bumrungrad Hospital which is practically next door. It could be a lovely peaceful haven for those with sick relatives in the hospital if only the owners spent a bit of time and money on the infrastructure. I found the reception staff efficient if not exactly friendly. My room was a good size, good a/c, a nice big bed and shower room and a tiny balcony. The Wifi was excellent in the lobby but did not work at all on the 8th floor nor did ... Read more

Nothing specific - great hotel to stay for holiday or Business. Good food especially the Thai cuisine they serve. I am a vegetarian and asked for Panang curry Veg and the chef made a brilliant one. I personally thanked him for that. They have a balcony area to have coffee / breakfast - if someone wishes to smoke etc. Good place to sit and watch the rains coming down and puff away.
