I rented this space online, so I would have a place to stay once I landed in Bangkok, at 1130pm. The online reservation site made the place look nice and well worth the money. This was not the case. You walk in to a VERY small room, with dirty walls, holes in the blankets, a cracked toilet cover and just as you tell yourself, 'it's not that bad, I just hope I don't get bed bugs', a cockroach scurried across the bathroom floor. Originally planned to stay for two nights, but one was enough. Brea... Read more

Not really bad, but very small and not clean for this price. 500 baht deposit. Extra fee 200 baht for second guest in superior double room. And also they have a pet in room 103 - cigarettes pack size 7-leg spider :)

Aircon provided warmer air than the naturally-cooled corridor outside. I'm willing to bet there are better budget rooms in the area. Location is undeniably central. No towel. The fan rooms of the 90's were a better option!

Room had no window, and was so small you had to walk sideways between the two SINGLE beds. Bathroom didn't drain the shower water, so it turned into a shallow pool. Sitting on the toilet my knees touched the wall opposite. The staff could have cared less about anything, and to say that the breakfast was mediocre would be to undestate how bad it was. Soggy pancakes, cold eggs, cold toast and unripe fruit. Coffee was passable. Empty coke can lay in the passage outside the room for 3 days. Cleaner ... Read more

The room was good and the AC worked in mine but not my friend's. A step up from a hostel but defiantly more suited to the budget traveler. A downside was no pool, and no way to rig the power to stay on without the key in it. So every time you came back the room was hot. About 400 Bhat from the airport and just have the taxi drop you off on KhaoSan road then walk to the hotel as there is no vehicle access. Option two is pre-print the information in Thai with a phone number to the front desk f... Read more

The rooms are dirty, the staff very unhelpful and unfriendly. The warm water regulator not working, no cable tv, wireless internet a nightmare. The only good thing is the location. The buffet breakfast, is the same watery sausages, cold hard eggs everyday.

It's fine if your looking for a cheap place to stay. It's in a great location literally 2 minutes from all the action which is great! The rooms aren't so good though! They are very small and beds are quite hard. Overall the place has quite a strong smell but noticed most of Bangkok does so think it must be something to do with the drainage there. Fine if your looking for somewhere cheap. Lots of bugs though! Not so many in room but quite a lot in communal areas. Staff are all nice which is good ... Read more

Do not stay here. Avoid at all costs there are so many other places in Bangkok that are a lot cheaper and a lot nicer. Staff are unhelpful and rude, the hygiene levels are next to none; sticky floors, dirty tables the whole place smells like stale cigarettes and urine. Unacceptable for 10£ a night.

This was the first stop on my arrival in Bangkok so I was quite culture shocked anyway. At first I was a little shocked as it seemed a bit cold and grimy but actually, the staff were really friendly as everyone in Thailand is and anywhere this close to Khao San Road will inherit the dirt of the busy street. The drainage could perhaps do with looking at as there was a smell sometimes but overall I had a room to myself which was air conditioned. Good service throughout the night and god wifi co... Staff were nice. Slightly shabby looking but it's all part of the backpacker experience. Great breakfast in the morning. Wifi in the open air lobby but not in room (worked when putting phone on floor) unless you pay. Lots of cats around. Provides a safe.

Nice enough hotel right on Khao San. Wifi works well, but only in the lobby. Breakfast was decent. There was fruit, toast, coffee, juice, and pancakes. Staff was helpful. Rooms were fine and clean but a few bugs flying around. Great location and price! If you're taking a taxi to the airport from here, just walk down and away from Khao San a little bit and you can get one for much cheaper!

Booked a 2 night stay here, what a terrible mistake! One of the rooms we had booked hadn't been serviced and had condoms and wrappers all over the floor. Another had dubious stains on the walls and curtains, the bathroom door had obviously been put on after the toilet was installed and wouldn't open properly. Ants on every surface. Fighting broke out at 2am in the corridor. The breakfast was abysmal. The AC units actually worked but stank and obviously hasn't been cleaned in years. The worst pl... Read more

Although I have stayed here a few times over the years I feel it is slightly overpriced now. It is a budget place to stay in Kao San rd. It is satisfactory stay for a couple to a few nights but is little tired looking and has acquired stains over the years. There is only free internet in lobby and I can't accept any 'to pay for' wifi in any hotel in the world as it is a basic need these days. It's in a good location as it is in an alley away from high noise of Kao San rd but easy to assess. ... Read more

Great location just of Khao San Road. However, this does not make up for the run down, grubby look and feel of the place. Rooms are small (no space between the single beds in the twin room which is a little uncomfortable when sharing with someone you have just met) and basic, although there is a fridge. Wifi connection is free in the lobby only, to have it in the room costs exta and it was poor. Some staff were friendly, others less so! Breakfast had various simple choices, nothing special. Its ... It's hard to know where to start with this place. We arrived at 6am from an overnight bus and were trudging down the rat infested Khaosan Road trying to find the hotel for a good twenty minutes before somebody helpfully guided us down the depressing alley that this place is found. The hotel itself is by far the worst I have ever stayed in. The receptionist had already cancelled our booking 3 minutes after our estimated arrival time and we had to pay extra money to get to a 'clean' room. The roo... Read more

Unfortunately a rating of 0/5 is not possible. Me and my partner were under no illusion that a hotel on Khao San road might leave a lot to be desired. This place was nothing short of vile. Dirty sheets on the bed, stains on every surface, revolting smells coming from the shower/fridge/air conditioning unit - which made loads of noise and blew out hot air. We arrived (very tired) at 5:45am after a 10 hour bus journey to be told by the abrupt receptionist "room not clean, come back at 12", e... Read more
