Almost 800m from the main sukhumvit road, they provide a golf car transportation too. Rooms are adequate and breakfast is very good. The place is much quieter than the places on main Sukhumvit road, and great for a peaceful sleep. Staff is cordial and helpful.

We booked a few nights here while we stayed in Bangkok. The price and location and the hospitality were wonderful. A couple extra dollars for free breakfast every morning was worth the convenience. The hotel was several hundred meters down Soi 8 off of Sukhumvit, past most pubs and street vendors. 7/11 close by was perfect for getting anything we needed. As English speakers we felt comfortable in that there were numerous pubs on the Soi that seemed to be popular for expats or English speakers, h... Read more

Apart from someone smoking excessively on the floor I was staying it was a comfortable and friendly establishment. There was little I want for as the room was cleaned regularly and the staff were very helpful if I required something. The location was quiet but surprisingly close and convenient many attractions and transport.

We booked for this for our parents visiting Bangkok, directly through Hotel Website. on day 1 they refused Airport Pick-up saying there was no intiamation, despite writing to them in advance, and had to make arrangement on our own at the airport. becuase it was a late night flight, we have opted for a HOtel with Airport Transfer. Barring that issue, everything was smooth. they even kept the luggage for couple of days while my folks were away. Overall a great place.

We have stayed in Salil during our holidays in August 2016 for 2 nights. It is clean and well maintained. One thing youā??ll notice is charge list for damages, And on checkout youā??ll be asked to wait and executive will go and check the room before giving clearance. But we didnā??t like it. Why we didnā??t like it. - It is not right hotel if you are on holidays. It is very small hotel and approx 500-700 meter distance from main Sukhamvit road. - It is more of place for people who are in city f... Read more

The superior room was small but good enough for 2 pax. Room and toilet was clean. Wifi was good. Buffet breakfast although limited selection was good. Hotel staff was friendly and efficient. Along soi 8 there are some high-end restaurants, pubs and small massage centers. Hotel was located near enough to these places but far enough to enable you a good night's rest. Hotel provides a buggy to drive you to the junction of soi 8 where the Nana Bts is located. Overall a pleasant experience and... Read more

Lovely hotel clean and so very friendly. Our room was fit for a king and the breakfast was a very good display I would recommend this lovely and friendly hotel to all my family and friends. As for the internet speed I think this is probably normal for Thailand.

Booked with King size bed and non-smoking room but end up getting a queen size & smoking room. Some improvement needed for the reservation. The hotel staff and manager responded fast to solve this issue, credit to them. Appreciate for the arrangement. This hotel is about 15 mins walking from BTS Nana. But Salil Soi 8 provide free Tuk-Tuk both ways. Just call them if the transfer is from BTS station to the hotel. Very convenient, just get a Traveller SIM from any Telco in the airport. Hotel is... My friend who has an apartment at the end of the soi recommended Salil to me. It is deep into the soi, probably 200 m, so very quiet, not rowdy, but they have a free tuk tuk service out to Sukumvit road where there are restaurants, spas, shopping etc. The room was clean and adequately supplied. The air conditioner worked well but all of the cable tv channels did not correspond to what was on the card supplied in the room. I did not try the breakfast, but they seemed to have a nice coffee shop... Read more

I liked my stay at Salil Hotel very much. It was very calm and clean place by all means. The staff were very friendly and helpful that added a delight to the experience. Also not to forget the food at the restaurant which was very delicious. The location at Sukhumvit Soi 8 was convenient for me. Over all I felt I had no reason to rate this hotel below a perfect score.

I was looking forward to the stay from the positive reviews I read here, but I realize the occasional bad reviews are actually true. The hot water really doesn't work. I stayed in room 22. The water takes minutes to turn hot, and it turns scorching hot for a few seconds before it turns cold again. I was shivering the whole time during the shower as a result. I had feedback this to the front desk asking them to fix, and all I get is they will send someone up, but in evening when I return, the pr... Read more

The most troubling thing here was the staff being oblivious to the fire alarm, which sounded soon after we checked in. Having rushed down the fire escape we found staff on the ground floor coukd hear the alarm but wern't bothered by it. Turned out to be a guest smoking un their room, but makes you wonder what woukd happen if there was a real fire. Besides our basic safety concerns, the hotel is tired and dated, with poor fixtures and fittings and a grubby bathroom. Coukd do better!

I only stayed two nights to get my bearings in Bangkok as I'm traveling for months and have a budget to stick to. The room was nice and the beds were comfortable. I chose this hotel because I had spent months in India and really wanted to take a bath. The room I booked said it came with a bathtub but they didn't know that when I checked in. There was no problems as they moved me to a room with a bathtub, but I had to compromise by sleeping in a twin bed. After taking the bath I came to realize t... Read more
