Recommended. I consider value, whether I'm looking at budget, chic, or swanky, accommodations. The Pinnacle Sukhumvit is a budget hotel that feels like a really nice hostel private room with an en suite bathroom. It's a 3-star hotel that gets 4 from me because of value and location. Price Since price is a big factor while doing extended travel, this is one of the first things I consider. The list rates for rooms are way overpriced in my opinion, but if you book through a TripAdvisor partner... Read more

This is an older hotel, but I enjoyed the staff and the bed was clean and comfortable. Bangkok was stifling hot in April, but the air-conditioner in the room did well. Upon check in for the week, I was given two little bottles water. Sadly you get that only once. Maybe if I checked in anew each day I would not have had to buy my own water. However there are a couple of 7-11s just a short walk away. If you totally "hate" the Muslim call to prayer, then be warned, you can hear it (but it adds to ... Read more

Located in d midst of nana street Sukhumvit, with very gud connectivity with d metro, bus service nd even taxi for almost every corner of bangkok. The property is very avg, unfrndly staff, lil suffocating rooms wid nt vry gud air conditioning. Bt if u r on a tight budget nd ur main motive is to travel as mch as u can widout havin d comfort of a cozy room, dis is probably d best choice. Ample of shopping nd street food avenues avlbl downstreet wch is active almst till 2 am.

I was a bit leery of staying here, but I decided to step out of my Western shadow and give it a try. I was escorted to my room, by the maid, and everything was meticulously cleaned. My eighth floor room couldn't have been quieter and the wi-fi was fine. (many don't understand how severe storms will effect internet performance). Older Sony Trinitron, with a good selection of English TV. Not for everyone, but neither is BKK. I met a nice couple from Pakistan and there were some friendly Afri... Read more

I have no idea where all the good reviews came from. I honestly think they were blind or went to a completely different hotel. When we arrived, they said the room we booked wasn't ready, so we had to stay in a different room for the night. We booked a double, stayed in a twin. First of all, there is black mold everywhere. So much so, it started rotting away a ceiling tile in the bathroom. One bed was somewhat comfortable, but you could feel the springs. The other twin was unacceptable. You could... Read more

I had to carry my own baggage to the room, while checking in the receptionist just gave me room key and two bottles of water, thereafter I didn't get any service except the free wifi. However, it's in a very good location, BTS is in walking distance and restaurants are all around. Good and cheap for those who are travelling single.

I stayed for few hours on my transit to India from Cambodia. I reached Bangkok at afternoon and left same day midnight .So booked this hotel as it was cheap. It is located in a lane surrounded by many shops and Indian and Arabian Restaurants. Walking distance from Nana Station. Reception area is not impressive . Rooms and toilet were clean. It looked to me this hotel was quite luxurious but no renovation for years has put the hotel in very bad shaped.Rooms looked shabby and worn out. The carpet... Read more

Torn blue carpet w/stains. Painted concrete walls: peeling & cracked. Rust stains in tub. Lumpy bed. Stained bed sheets. A recording of a squeaky brass horn brays outside your window beckoning Muslims to prayer. Turbaned Africans and Arabs on the one sofa of the lobby. You have to be high on heroin to justify rating this dirty tenement 3 and a half stars. To sum up this place: bring sanitizing handi-wipes. I don't want to stand in the tub in my bare feet nor do I want to sit on the toil... Read more
