Stayed here for 1 night in April after arriving from the UK. The taxi from the airport was about 40 minutes and cost 600 baht. On arrival the staff took our bags out of the taxi and then up to the room once we had checked in. We were offered a free upgrade and check in was simple. The room was fairly spacious , modern and clean with everything included such as bath robes, slippers, hair dryer, toiletries and water. Booked 2 rooms for 4 adults. The rooms were next to each other, clean, cozy and quiet. The buffet breakfast included was flippin' amazing and delicious! We enjoyed the roof top pool, although the music was too loud. The sitting area and koi fish were a beautiful relaxing site. Everyone was helpful and professional.

The hotel is well placed for most touristy sights, but not in the busiest streets. Clean, tidy, no complaints at all - the view from the canal view rooms is quite ethnic but fun, just keep the window shut to avoid the smell. Get the friendly staff to call a nice pink Thai cab for you instead of arguing with the tuk-tuk drivers on the fare (or get an Uber...) The place would benefit from a nice bar - alas it will never happen as it's a dry hotel but there are plenty of places within a stone's th... Read more

Hotel is in a very good location, just a few minutes walk from the main tourist streets with restaurants/bars/shops but much quieter than staying directly in this area. Also a very short taxi ride to the main temples (I would recommend taking a metered taxi rather than a tuk tuk, as it's about a third of the price! Make sure you ask them to use the meter though, instead of agreeing a price upfront). I was very fortunate that the hotel allowed me to check in several hours early at no extra cost ... Read more

Very nice hotel. Staff was fantastic, location was great, hotel was very clean. Shower was amazing. Roof top salt water pool was very relaxing. Buffet was ok - better value across the street at a little bar (for breakfast at least). Bangkok is a busy, dirty, smelly place. It was SO SO nice to come back to this hotel and feel human again.

Located in the backpackers' district, this is a place I would return to if I want to be in the centre of the city. The rooms were clean, modern and was located close to tourist streets and amenties. My particular room had a bathroom with two shower heads and one did not work (the rainfall showerhead). Otherwise, it felt safe, comfortable and modern.

First of all, there is no alcohol sold in the hotel. The pool area has a bar, but only serves coffee and juice. The rooms are pretty basic- the shower is separate from the sink and my room did not have a window. The beds were comfy. My only gripe is that the safe kept on making an alarm noise.

Accommodation facilities is ok. The room is spacious and good for our family's trip. Bathroom is stylish and well equipped. A few points though, first, attentiveness can be improved because the room we reserved was good for three, however, there were only 2 slippers, glass and water. Second, the a/c or electricity is defective I think because it took a long time for it to cool and the lights kept flashing as if current problem. The Nouvo City Hotel is the new New World Hotel ... same location, but completely different, I am guessing it was rebuilt.. The hotel has a great location, near enough to the Khao San region to take advantage of everything that offers, but far enough away to avoid the busy-ness and noise. The main drawback now is the price, the previous hotel (ok, it was some years ago) was real value for money, this is now a higher end hotel and you pay for it ... which is not really necessary in this area as t... The big advantage of a 4 * hotel boutique is that it is located a short walk from the market Banglumphu and 15 minutes from the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, the Grand Palace and other památek.Dob?e sits in the center of where everything is literally at hand, it is very close to the main street of Khao San Road, where you will find everything that belongs to Thailand. A little more than 10 min of walking distance to khaosan road, however the hotel itself is located in a nice neighborhood, not to slummy but still offering few street food stall. Room is clean and modern, and the hotel service is top notch, especially from the GRO next to the entrance. Price is slightly on the more expensive side compared to the others in the area but if you travel with family, this is the right place.

The hotel is beautiful, lots of services as swimming pool, bar, restaurant, huge breakfast and beautiful bedroom. Service is good, being sick I asked for a late check out, the receptionist solved my problem in few minutes allowing me to stay till 6pm (paying an extra obviously). I would suggest them to add more sockets since it was hard to find one that I could use. One was far from the bed and the other one in the bathroom. The hotel is located in a perfect area to reach the bustle of Khao S... Read more

Went on a trip to meet my friend and his wife here. I live in Dubai and they are from Edinburgh. Previously before been in the seedier part of Bangkok and put me off. This was a great hotel, excellent little restaurants and bars close by which showed the proper people and character of Bangkok. Hotel was nice, never ventured to the pool. Staff very friendly and helpful. No issues at all. Great price and great old defo stay again.

Nouvo City Hotel is located right near Khao San Road (5 min walk) and about a 20 minute walk to the Palace and Wat Pho. Across the street are a variety of massage places of good quality and some restaurants nearby. My fiance and I had a wonderful experience at Nouvo City Hotel. The room service menu mimics the restaurant downstairs and ordering was seamless. The front reception desk was helpful in getting a cab to the airport and check in/out but the tourist information assistance could only p... Read more

Great location! 10 minutes to the palace and temple of the emerald Buddha. Excellent food nearby! Make sure to get a massage at Chaidee massage, across from the 7-11. The breakfast buffet leaves something to be desired

The location is very good but the attention is not that good. The rooms are ok but the decoration is not that nice. Moreover, the towels are old and we had to ask for towels as they forgot. They are not into details. On the other hand, they did not have towels in the swimming pool at pic times. I recomend to stay if you are not very demanding and you priorize location.

The room looked good but smelled mouldy and we found black mould in the washing basin. (room no. 3314) But the worst thing was that we were accused of having stolen the laundry bag which is in every room. When we checked out, we had to pay 150 Baht for the missing laundry bag which we had neither taken nor seen anywhere during our stay. We were not treated very politely.

The rooftop pool was a great way to start the day plus the view isn't bad :) The Hotel is on a great location near 7/11,ATM,exchange and temples.

Got in a day late after a horrible flight delay, and they had my room ready and waiting which was awesome. Beautiful and spacious room, great amenities, very comfortable bed. Great hotel amenities, had a fantastic Thai Massage near the beautiful rooftop pool, and a very nice restaurant attached. There is a 7/11 right next door that has anything you need, and its in a great location. It is really walkable to any major attraction. I did get to use the bus system on the way to the grand palace an... Read more

This hotel has been refurbished recently and looks very special, the rooms are nice and well decorated and appointed. Beds are not great though (cheap) but good location, and that's about where it ends. The staff were average, little personality, no real care for the guest, very robotic, no smiles. The breakfast staff are just rude Breakfast was ok, but make sure you have included in your room rate or your looking at £10 each! Which for thailand is a stretch and better places to go to be hon... We found this hotel ideal and exactly what we wanted. Would totally recommend. The hotel was clean, fresh, and the staff were very helpful. It was ideally located for us as we wanted to be able to walk to Koh San Road but not be too near it either . We ate in the restaurant and also utilised the great roof top pool. In summary. Fantastic hotel, great location, very safe feeling for three female guests.

Really enjoyed my stay at this very comfortable hotel in the near distance of KaoSarn road and other attractions! Booked the Grand Deluxe room which was lovely decorated with excellent bedding. Check in and check out quick and correct. Price a little too high compared to other hotels, but great choice for stress less stay!

Stayed here for 2 nights after arriving into Bangkok. The hotel is ideally located less than a 10 minute walk from the Koh San Road but tucked in a side street so very quiet. There are lots of good (and cheap) restaurants and bars right on its doorstep too. The room was lovely and spacious and included extra toiletries (toothbrush, razor, cotton buds) should you have left yours behind. The rooftop bar and swimming pool was very nice although they didn't serve alcohol. Views were great over loo... Read more

This hotel is ideal for backpackers or people on holiday that want a level of luxury but at a reasonable price. The hotel is in a brilliant location literally ten minute walk to Khoa San road and all around the hotel are loads of street food stalls and authentic Thai cuisine from what appears to be local people's homes! The hotel was clear and the staff were very helpful. Rooms are very decent size with big bathrooms. There is ideally a 7/11 next door. We spent 4 nights here and enjoyed our stay... Read more

This is a boutique hotel in the older quarter of Bangkok and popular with back packers. It is not a cheap hotel however and we felt as if money was their god from the moment of check in. Breakfast not included and expensive if you buy it. Rooms are laid out with beds right next to the door so you try to sleep with everyone walking past your head. Strange. After a recommendation for a airport transfer locally we were disappointed that the transfer did not turn up and we paid in advance. The ho... Read more

Stayed for 3 nights, the hotel is generally of a high quality and the rooms comfortable and well equipped. Located within a 5 minute walk to the famous Khao San Road. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Not the cheapest hotel about, but if you after a bit more luxury, this is the one. Worth noting that the hotel doesn't serve alcohol. Chillax Resort is located a few meters down the road and is arguably of a higher quality for around the same price.

Rooms were very spacious and had a big bathroom. The room was very clean and the bed very comfortable. We were upgraded to a canal view room upon arrival and they also had no issues with us checking in at 8am. The staff were very helpful. The hotel was in a good location, but was tucked away from the noise of the busy roads. There were cheap restaurants and bars all around which were great. We would recommend this hotel if you are in Bangkok for a few days!

Stayed here four times and I'm never disappointed. The staff will bend over backwards to satisfy your concerns, especially the concierge, doormen and bellhops. The place is somewhat off the beaten path, so one can take refuge from the chaotic energy of the Kao San Road party zone. The pool and spa is a private little oasis to enjoy. Overall, the experience is world class and we will always return.

My partner and I stayed in this hotel for two nights at the start of our 20 day trip to Thailand. After a wonderful day exploring Bangkok, we headed back to the hotel to pack, ready to leave early the next morning. We emptied out the safe, which had been locked and not used since we arrived at the hotel the previous day, and found that nearly all of our money was gone! (over £700 worth of thai baht had been taken which was meant to last us the whole trip) We went straight to the front desk and... Read more

In itself this is a good hotel. We stayed here at the beginning of our Thailand travel and will return again for a few nights before flying out. Located in Old Historic Bangkok, the Nouvo City Hotel is a gem in a neighborhood full of small restaurants and little hostels, B&B's, shops. The area definitely contributes to the fact we will return. Within walking distance from the (in)famous Khao San Road and more relaxed Soi Rambuttri it makes for the perfect location for the budget savvy tr... Read more
