Spacious rooms with good views and comfy beds. Large, pretty outdoor pool area with sun loungers and a bar to buy coffees and ice cream. In door, air conned gym with free weights and bench press as well as cardio machines. Extra towels available for the gym and pool so you don't dirty the ones in your room. Breakfast had so much option, one of the best breakfast buffets I have seen. Fresh eggs, Thai food, cereals, continental meats, cheeses and pastries, everything you could possibly want. Staff... Nice hotel but don't go for the standard option. Nice decent bathroom with big showers. The buffet breakfast is quite extensive with multitudes of options. There is a pool but every time we went there it was quite busy even on rainy days. The hotel is well positioned to lots of attraction in the area. Silom road and the night life in the night markets are quite amazing. Narai Hotel has been my hotel of choice in Bangkok for close to 7 years now. It is located in the buzzling Silom Road right opposite to the Indian Mariyamman Temple and lot of Indian restaurants nearby. The rooms are nice and comfortable, and the breakfast spread is awesome- decent choice for the vegetarian traveler! The only point that has always caused me problems is that the check-in time is 2pm and if you arrive by an early morning flight, you have to either wait or shell out half day r... Read more

The best things about the Narai is that:the price has dropped in the last year so you can get the Deluxe room for the same price as the standard room previously. The deluxe rooms aren't that deluxe though. They are semi renovated and fairly small. The standard rooms are not so good though if you just need a room they are OK. TV channels and wifi are not amazing and bad. The hotel has an excellent pool which is really deep and good for laps. The gym is excellent too . The hotel has a decent but n... Read more

They really deserve better rating than seen in tripadvisor. Seeing the ratings and reviews here was a bit skeptical, but amazed by their service. I stayed for 3 nights, i really liked the rooms. The rooms are neat chic and clean, big enough for a couple. Mostly I would relax the afternoon hours in the rooms and crash at nights. I liked their service, have safety lock, luggage deposit safe. The location is also really nice and convenient. Would recommend if you are a family traveller and requ... Read more

I have lost count of the times that I have stayed at The Narai Hotel. Built in the late sixties and renovated a few times since, it has that old fashion charm. Nice clean rooms with very comfortable beds. The pool is nice but beware it is very deep at 3.3 metres and the shallow end is quite a small area. Breakfast is quite good with the usual range on offer. Located on Silom Road and close to the BTS and many restaurants in the area. There is a great little Lane just past the hotel about 200 me... The rooms are of the classic old fashioned type with all the necessities. (But so is the hotel) The beds are comfortable. Room and bathroom are clean. Wifi is free and the speed is ok. This older style well maintained hotel is great value. One of the best things is the large room and a bath, what a bonus. The pool is great but not suitable for young children (1.5 to 3.3 metres deep). A large hotel with big local support, which suggests locals see the value. Great buffet breakfast in a busy room. Cant beat the location and value, staff are a little ambivilent.

Stayed for three nights at the Narai and thoroughly enjoyed it. We stayed on the 12th floor which has a lovely view of the Bangkok skyline. Room had all the essentials for a comfortable stay. Comfortable bed as well. It could do with a bit of a modern twist in terms of brightening up the room. Breakfast was a lovely variety of Asian and western food. Staff generally friendly as well. The location is also perfect to explore the city as it's central and close to various transport options.

For its price point, excellent! No complaints whatsoever, well, maybe the gym that was not up to par but still functional. Specifics: checkin/out was a breeze; good customer service; clean, overall; free shuttle was useful; good location; and, 5am-10am breakfast was generous. Seems old fashioned but newly renovated, I guess, and well maintained.

We stayed there for a total of 4 nights at the beginning and the end of our trip to Thailand. At the end of June, we had a great room, the hotel was not full, buffet breakfast was great. But going back in July, the hotel was crammed, corridors to the rooms reeked cigarettes (as well as our room when we turned on the airco) and the breakfast room was so crowded that it was hard to find a table or to circulate to get what you wanted to eat. So all in all a good place, but not so nice when crowded.... Read more

Staying at this with a tour group from Cosmos, nice hotel.Friendly staff,in good location. Room very spacious and tidy.Only noise and busy. Room door must be slam to close, you even cannot nap ,cause there is always some body slamming the door.A lot talking in the corridor( house keeping etc) ,there is a writing to keep silent, still there are always some one that ignore this. This morning wake up at 4am,cause people talking and slamming doors.
