The hotel is in a good location but that's about it. The staff were rude and unhelpful (the only answer to every question was: you have booked through a third party, which was booking.com and we can not help you with that). The Swimming pool was closed during our stay, something we were not aware of as it had not been communicated by Hilton. The hotel makes use of the swimming pool of the Sheraton across the water where we had no access to WI-FI and were only allowed in until 6PM, not very nice ... Read more

I was absolutely disappointed Hilton service. I thought Hilton is a world brand hotel and service level would be no difference between countries. However, i find Hilton Millennium Bangkok just destroyed my expectation and hilton's reputation. As hotel offers shuttle boat service between hotel and BTS. I checked with hotel's staff and took timetable with me before left hotel to be sure i can get boat back to hotel. however, me and my friends off BTS and arrived pier at 00:01 which is before hot... The hotel must have one of the best beds on the market.. what a great sleep. The hotel is situated with not much else in the local area. Beware that there is a boatservice at night resulting in some long waits if not timed perfectly. Great gym and when the pool area is open I am sure that too is fantastic. The hotel host large groups of Chinese holiday makers making breakfast somewhat chaotic. Buffet gets boring after a few days however there is little choice around the neighborhood. A tip if y... Stayed here for 4 nights. The view was superb, as the hotel is built diagonally, in which rooms on either side would also have the river view. Most staffs are friendly, but could be improved to meet the expectations of a 5-star hotel. Chose this hotel to try something different, instead of staying close to the city centre as what we would usually do everytime we are in Bangkok. There are 2 7-Eleven convenience stores, 1 across the road, and another beside the hotel, which is a plus point to us.... Read more

The Millennium Hilton Hotel has to rank as "one is a billion" for the fantastic customer care they gave me during a family crisis! I arrived in Bangkok from the UK in a state of panic following my son's admission into hospital. Having stayed at this property on 3 occasions in July, I've got no major complaints about the building, the service or the staff. Rooms are well appointed, the lounge is staffed well, breakfast has a broad enough selection of high quality items. The location isn't the best, taxi/uber drivers frequently miss it and there is not much at all within walking distance. I'd suggest the biggest issue is that this hotel is overshadowed in terms of rooms and location by the Hilton Sukhumvit

We booked a room for a family of four, two adults a child of 11 and 13. On arrival we were given a room with two single beds. I was told that there was nothing the hotel could do as the hotel was full. Just let me say upfront, yes, the Standard rooms are not very big in size and some of the furniture is a bit worn too. However in total I have been very happy with the Millenium Hilton Bangkok, given the Price we paid. We had booked an Executive Room with lounge access, and this is definitely worth the extra. The room was a bit small in it´s layout, but very nicely decorated and a bathroom with jacuzzy. For a couple of days this workes very well. Should you stay longer, it´s maybe better to bo... After I spent 3 nights here in 2009 I decided to come back 7 years later to see if the Millennium Hilton was every bit as good as I remembered it.. It really still is! The reception and concierge are super friendly, helpful and very accommodating (as you would expect from a Hilton) The rooms are very spacious, sound proof (no noises from other rooms or outside), have very comfortable (king size) beds and come with really magnificent views of the city. This upscale business hotel is just business and no more. Hard marble and stone surfaces all around reflect sound all around the public spaces. In our room, a shower head that sprayed randomly, a broken table lamp, and worn-out electrical outlets that wouldn't hold the plugs were just a few of the items that showed this hotel's age and wear. The staff serves the customer formulaically, reflecting good Hilton training rather than the genuine Thai friendliness and personal touch we felt in othe... Read more

The hotel facilities include a great shuttle boat service that makes getting around easy. As we stayed in Executive Rooms we had access to the Executive Lounge and the wonderful staff there. The Lounge offered great food and drink service throughout the day with spectacular views over the city. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the service provided.

Was here on a family trip with the kids for a few days. Great value for money especially for hhonors members.who have access to executive lounge. The rooms were clean but some of the furnishings were getting old and damaged slightly from use. Traffic is a bit of a nightmare if you have to cross the river all the time but the ferry shuttle offered by the hotel has good connection to the BTS so not too big of a problem. Would really recommend this place to visitors.

Boat shuttle to BTS and Thaksin Bridge, rooftop bar, nice pool area with private jacuzzis, several restaurants, great breakfast and fair rates. Maybe best deal for 5* riverside hotel in BKK!

We stayed three nights at the Hilton and cannot fault it! The staff were absolutely amazing. The most gracious, helpful and welcoming people we have ever met. Shout out to Sunny, Dan and Jay at the concierge desk for being so unbelievably helpful. And also Pat and Pop at the bar for being so attentive and welcoming and patient with teaching us about Thai culture and language. Extra special shout out to Pat for bringing me out mosquito repellent when she saw me being attacked by bugs!

On our way home from our Cambodian holiday, we decided to spend a couple of days in Bangkok and stayed at the Millennium Hilton. On checking in, we were upgraded from junior suite to executive suite. Our room had a great view of Bangkok and its busy river, was spacious and very comfortable. The service which they provide on the executive floor is exceptional.

My parents and I stayed here in one of the corner suites in October and were incredibly impressed - especially with the views from the room! Staff were super friendly and the hotel is in a fantastic location right on the river. There is a complimentary boat that takes you across the river to Asiatique which is a really nice area with shops and restaurants and there are plenty of facilities in the hotel itself. Would highly recommend for your next trip to Bangkok!

*Sigh* writing this means i'm home.... what a stay!! We had no expectations with this hotel, when we arrived we were taking back by how grand everything is. The lobby was enough to take your breath away at first entrance. We had a river front view - the windows stretch the full length of the room, the view you achieve because of this is amazing. Everything was clean, everything you needed was there. The location couldn't have been better. The night boat was used each evening to take us to the n... Read more

I travel to Bangkok every couple of months and always stay at the Millenium because I feel it is very good value for money. The hotel boasts a 360 degree roof top restaurant which serves delicious food and the outside bar is great for cocktails before or after dinner. On the roof, sunset is a perfect time to kick back and relax and enjoy the views of the City coming alive with lots of lights, music and you can even see some of the temples all lit up. The hotel also has an infinity pool which is ... Read more

The rooms are fantastic with views over the river (however next door downstream is a big construction site which isn't the prettiest, but what can you do? At least it's not noisy at all). Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The free shuttle boat to the station is a nice touch, but doesn't help you that much to get around town. Being on the 'other' side of the river from most tourist attractions, so it might be a bit inconvenient for that. The pool is a bit less fabulous than one expected ... Read more

Access to the Executive lounge was one of the best we have experienced- delightful afternoon tea and cocktails in the evening as well as snacks at other times. Complimentary boat transfer will take you across the Chao Phraya river where you can catch the sky train or sight seeing boats down the river. The staff was awesome and friendly. Despite its size, this hotel is pleasurable to stay in. Many large hotels are impersonal, bordering on cold, but this one was warm and friendly. The staff are all genial and helpful and keen to assist with any query or problem. Our room was on the 19th floor with a view of the river. It was pleasant in the morning to watch the river traffic build up, with its manically fast tourist speedboats and lumbering towed barges. I can't say that Bangkok the city is high on my list of places I've been, but the Millennium Hilton was definitely a shining star! The room was very nice, if a bit outdated, and I could rave for days about the pool area. I spent a whole afternoon there enjoying the sun, sipping a drink, and reading my book. We stayed here for one night, which makes it difficult to do a full review due to the fact you can't try everything. To me, this hotel has a 'business trip' feel to it, and is far from my favourite in Bangkok. The free boat shuttle to the other side of the river is very useful and operates on a regular basis. The room was average, with dodgy taps in the bathroom and noisey drainage in the bathroom. I wouldn't say no to staying here again, but I could name several places I would rather stay.

Quality of rooms are poor and do not live up to the expectation of the rating of this hotel. If you want a good nights stay I would not recommend this hotel, you will find much better hotels across Bangkok that are also more reasonably priced.
