We stayed for 3 nights in early May. The concierge was very helpful-- ensuring the taxis knew where to take us and giving site seeing suggestions. Room was huge and had an outdoor shower that was fabulous after a hot & humid morning of site seeing. Pool is a wonderful break from it all but the beers were priced higher than the mini bar. The breakfast buffet is great though might be a bit expensive if not included in your room rate. Complimentary waters were a nice touch. They even gave us ... Read more

I first arrived at the COMO in April carrying a back pack (on foot) from Sala Daeng station and needless to say I was drenched in sweat. The attendant at the door saw me a few metres away and didn't hesitate to run towards me and offered to carry my back pack rather than waiting for me to get to the entrance. Immediately upon entering the lobby, I was greeted by Khun Song with such a warm welcome and offered me a cool towelette and sweet tea drink! She even let me decompress in the lobby before ... Stayed for three nights in May! The Good: good location, easy walk to night market, good local restaurants, good spas. excellent service, check in and out very fast and easy, Large nice pool, good spa with well equipped workout room. Clean updated rooms with comfortable bed, nice bathroom, and good breakfast was included. The Bad: Each time they made up our room they would only leave one large bath towel. They did a great job cleaning but we had to call for towels daily. The Ugly: The people ... Read more

We stayed 2 nights at the Metropolitan in May. Upon arrival, we were greeted with such a warm welcome and it help set the bar for all the other places we were going to visit in Thailand over the next 2 weeks. Check-in was easy and they had us relax with cold drinks and cold towels. The rooms are very clean. modern and comfortable. Great bathroom too. My partner and I stayed at this hotel for New year 2016. Prior to arriving we had made several attempts to contact the hotel to try and get information on their Hogmamay party. All contact was completely ignored until I took to trip Advisor and posted a negative review. From this point on the general manager Kevin kept in regular contact and appologised for the problems. He offered us a complimentary bottle of bubbly and some canapés as an apology. On arrival Kevin was there to greet us ... Read more

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Bangkok. PROS: - Well priced. - Huge rooms, including spacious bathroom with separate bath. - Fantastic pool area. - Very comfortable bed. - Go to Nahm restaurant in the hotel for an unforgettable dinner (voted best restaurant in Asia). - Breakfast buffet is also excellent. CONS: - Can't think of one!

The Metropolitan is one of the best hotels I've stayed in (and there have been a lot of them, from 5-star chains to tiny hostels). It is excellence unreserved. The space consists of clean, minimal lines; the rooms well-furnished and gigantic; the pool elegant, and the gym flawless (they offer chilled coconut water and homemade health bars). But the absolute highlight is the breakfast, which is unlike anything I've seen or tasted. It is endless, and the quality of the ingredients and preparation... Read more

We were in Bangkok for 3 nights and this hotel is excellent value for money. The staff cannot do enough for you and are always cheerful. We were upgraded on our arrival which was a lovely gesture celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary. Food provided at breakfast catered for all diets and was excellent. I'm gluten free and they made sure I had bread available each morning. My husband used the gym and all equipment was well maintained. Water and towel is provided. We didn't use the pool or Spa... Stayed at the Met for a business trip and the stay was very pleasant. The staff greeted me very friendly and lobby is very beautiful. The room is nice however the bed frame is a problem as the frame is bigger than the bed hence you will tend to bump your shin on it once awhile. Toilet is superb with a nice huge bathtub and super comfortable bathrobe (cost 500baht to buy). Breakfast spread is healthy with pastries, fruits, cereals and juice only, cooked food (eggs, sausage, etc.) must be ordered ... Read more

We booked a package that included massage for two nights and really wished we had booked for a longer stay. - general atmosphere The hotel is an oasis of serenity and insulates you from the noise and chaos outside. It is a treat not to hear traffic noise. The clientele is gracious- unlike some we encountered at other 6 stars hotel. I have stayed at a number of top-rated properties in Bangkok before, but my favorite has got to be the Metropolitan by Como. Location-wise, it is very centrally placed and well connected by BTS as well as MRT to many of the usual tourist spots including the major malls. A 20 minute taxi ride will take you into Bangkok old town or Chinatown for a change of scene. If you like the all the 'exotic' trappings of traditional Thai decor, then perhaps this hotel's aesthetic may not appeal to you, but ... Read more

An oasis of calm in crazy Bangkok, the Metropolitan COMO is a stylish boutique hotel perfect for couples, business, tourists or a stop-over. Swimming pool was closed when I was there, but should be open by now. The exquisite breakfast is a bit overpriced, but worth it. There is an ok gym and spa. Rooms are modern and lavishly decorated.

From the moment we arrived to the time we left the service in the hotel was outstanding. The room was stylish and comfortable containing lots of little extra comforts you don't normally get such as a nespresso machine and Bose system. We stayed in a metropolitan room which was massive for a city hotel room but the real luxury was the massive bed with oh so soft sheets and the amazingly good rainfall shower which was sheer heaven after returning from a hot day of sight seeing. We had a very bus... Read more

A quite hotel in crazy Bangkok. The staff are so helpful and you feel so welcome. They come up to the room early evening asking if you need any more towels, water etc. Breakfast was nice, but not the best hotel-breakfast ever... Our plane left late, and they told us to keep luggage in their storage, and come back for free use of shower befire we went to the airport. Great service! We will come back next time we visit BKK!

We arrived at Como after a long day of flight delays and Friday night Bangkok traffic on a wet night ( enough) We were immediately made welcome with a drink and the checkin process was very smooth. The team had rearranged our dinner reservations which was great. Rooms was very spacious and the bed and pillows were both really comfortable. Breakfast the next morning was delicious and generous with lots of Thai and Western options and absolutely worth doing as a calm start to the day before headin... Read more

The Metropolitan by COMO is a luxurious yet affordable option in Bangkok, offering spacious rooms with big, airy windows and comfortable beds. There two good restaurants , the is very close to some major Embassy's. Overall, value for money. Polite staff, of course!

Bangkok has newer and better hotels but this probably ranks as one of the best the city has to offer. Well educated and trained staff. Top notch hospitality from check in till check out. Sukhothai Hotel Quality! The old school way. Luxury in Service. Not in room size. Room was tiny and old. Not impressed by bed size or design at all. But hotel compensated on it by actual quality of guests: Zero Chinese tour buses. And service as said. Overall excellent stay. Will return gladly. ... Read more

We had a wonderful time at this hotel. Service was excellent, Hotel was beautiful and our room was really nice and very large. One of our key reasons for choosing this hotel was to have a nice pool which certainly didn't disappoint. Never too busy, very peaceful despite being in the middle of Bangkok. Our only slight negative is that the location isn't super handy to shops and the like. But at only 10 mins to the sky train this wasn't a real disaster. All in all a great place to stay.

I would like to thank the wonderful staff at metropolitan by como for making our stay feel so comfortable especially after my wife became very sick. We were able to stay in our room a bit longer after normal checkout for her to recover for our flight. We would definitely recommend staying here and we will be back again. The complimentary yoga session was also fantastic!

I returned to Metropolitan by Como recently after staying a couple of years ago. Once again it is an outstanding experience for the exceptional staff, dining (Nahm and GLOW) as well as the beautifully appointed rooms and amenities (spa, pool, gym, bar). I've recommended it to many travellers, friends and family who has rated it highly as well. It is one of the best hotels in Bangkok. It is a tranquil escape each day after walking and experiencing Bangkok. You will be greeted at the door, welco... Read more

I stayed here 14-21 Aug 2016. I love the spacious and cozy room, the bed is very comfortable. The bathroom has bathtub & shower room. I love the lemongrass perfume in the shampoo & shower gel. What impressed me the most is the staffs' service and hospitality. They clean my room twice a day! I enjoyed breakfast, lunch, and dinner at como for a week. And also snack twice a day. All food and snack are amazingly delicious and healthy. Even the room service menu are very delicious. I've stayed in ... Read more

I arrived at the hotel this afternoon. Am staying at room 613 not because they have allocated me this room. They allocated me a smaller room with a queen size bed for 1 initially but because my husband joined me at last minute, the staff saw that he was with me, so they promptly got me another room that had a king size bed, and was bigger, at no extra charge. I am just bowled over by that authenticity to want to make my stay as comfortable as possible. Great job Metropolitan! And the lady at t... Read more

Great hotel in Sathorn area. Bts and Mrt are accesible by foot but the reception will always be happy to call for a taxi if needed. Staff is very well trained. The rooms are bright and give a nice view on the city. Breakfast was a bit sparse but consistent and tasty.

A great hotel with nice and skilled staff who were very helpful and professional. We stayed in a Metropolitan Room, with fresh fruit every day and free coffee and water. Great tech in the room with USB charger 2x2amp, flat-screen satellite TV, coffee machine and boiler. Clean, quiet, great food and a fantastic spa. Can absolutely recommend a meal at Nahm, the restaurant be the lobby.

This hotel is absolutely amazing. The room: Very comfortable bed, pillows, sheets. I do not like ultra soft bed and pillows. Here at Metropolitan, the bed and pillows are the right kind of softness and firmness. The bathroom is spacious, amenities are complete. May I also mention that the shampoo, conditioner and body wash smell fantastic. It smells like being in a luxurious spa. The breakfast buffet: Generous and satisfying. Yummy and delicious! You get to choose your order for main break... Read more

Just had another wonderful stay at a COMO hotel. This time in Bangkok. If you are looking for a fantastic room, exceptional service and good facilities then stay here. Our room (City) was very large with a very comfortable bed and well laid out bathroom. The gym seems to be brand new with fantastic equipment. The pool staff are very attentive and the spa is a calming place to go after the craziness of Bangkok traffic! The breakfast menu has lots of choice (healthy and not so!). Their restaurant ... We stayed one night on our way back to Australia. The overall experience was excellent, topped off by a superb dinner at Namh. The other highlight was the delicious facial I experienced at the spa. The pool was great and the staff very courteous and efficient. The only negative I would add is that the location is not brilliant, in a business district and a bit of a way from shopping.

I have said in other hotel reviews that execution is crucial and this place delivers on it. From the moment you walk in it is a sanctuary of calm and luxury. The hotel isn't too large by Bangkok standards and that really allows you to feel you have escaped the hustle and mayhem of Bangkok when, in reality, it remains right on your doorstep. The room was simply huge and very well furnished with everything you would expect (and more tbh) from a 5 star hotel. The room service was prompt and good ... Read more

Our overal experience at Como was extremely positive. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The room is amazing and HUGE. Probably the fanciest place we've stayed at a fraction of the price. The pool is gorgeous and the pool-side service is top-notch. Finally, the restaurant is incredible; our local tour guide even told us that we should check it out. We are happy that we listened! Even though the hotel it is off of a major street, there is security at the front making sure that the buil... Read more

The pool and spa facilities were a total bonus, to relax and enjoy before and after fabulously hot days exploring in Bangkok. I will be back. Thank you Metropolitan!

This hotel is nice and service is good but location is not convenient as it is not near to any shopping malls. Entrance to the hotel is not prominent so taxi drivers can miss it. Must compliment the service of the staffs. Room is nice and cosy but the aircon in my room was faulty. Not able to adjust the temperature. The technician was sent in but after taking out the ceiling boards at the door entrance and bathroom for more than half an hour still not able to fix. The floor was so dirty after he... Read more

It is always great to be back at Metropolitan. Clean and comfortable rooms, friendly staff, good breakfast. It is the place to relax and enjoy life for a reasonable price. The trip would have been perfect if I had not decided to have dinner at a so called boutique hotel/restaurant : Sala Rattanakosin. The traffic in Bangkok is notorious. It took about an hour and a half to reach the ghetto-like area, with the hotel/restaurant situated at the end of a narrow and dirty street. Once entering the h... Read more

I stayed here for 3 nights. The location for me was great quiet and set away from busy streets, providing a great sense quiet comfort and security. The staff are amazingly helpful. The rooms are amazing, deep soaking tub, great separate shower, all the modern conveniences that you can ever need. I used in room dining for dinner and breakfast, the food is what you expect to be served in a 5 star establishment. I could not fault my stay with them at all. I would recommend.
