Hotel was nice...hotel staff was amazing and helped in guiding us to the correct areas that we wanted to see. We liked the location close to the night bazaar. This was our first time to Bangkok so we have nothing to compare this hotel with.

Staff friendly, very clean, food is stunning and rooms and facilities are of a high standard. From the minute you drive into the private grounds you feel the ambience of the countryside and peace. Staff are extremely helpful. The pool area is serene and relaxing. The restaurants are beautiful and buffet breakfast has an array of choice. I enjoyed touring central and temples but did not like the big markets it was too hot and so busy

Good location, very clean and comfortable. But... My friends and I were sipping Champagne in the lobby bar when a conducted group arrived with bulky cartons. Then they decided to unpack all the cartons in the middle of the lobby to split them in smaller parcels. Everything was all over the place and we could hear tape noise for almost one hour ! Although our complaints to the staff, nothing was done. We were only told they will report to the tour guide who was not there at that time !

Loved this hotel. It is a very chic, modern property with a cool vibe in the heart of Bangkok. The service was outstanding! Front desk, concierge, etc could not have been friendlier or more helpful. The lobby has great space for grabbing a drink or socializing. The pool area is small, but adequate and the gym is large with modern equipment and chilled towels. My room was upgraded (without having to even request it) and I had a massive corner room with lots of windows. The food on the room... Read more

From check in to check out the staff were friendly and very helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The shower however was a bit tacky with faded floor and silicone patch up gel quite visible. The pool looked very nice with a nice setting. Breakfast was good with a good selection. All in all I rate my stay at this hotel as a good experience.

A frequent customer at Le Meridien Bangkok, I especially value the spirit of this place. The staff, service, and breakfast menu were all great. Very friendly and helpful staff. Both the concierge (I do not remember his name, but very helpful guy) and front desk executives gave me good suggestions and helped me with all little things from transportation to tea. A lady in the front desk by the name Varsha has a good sense of planning. She helped me plan out my first two days in the city so that I could cover maximum in the given time with sufficient breaks. The room was fabulous a good size and decorated in a modern style. The bathroom was unusual and very clean and I enjoyed the spa bath while getting ready for the wedding. Overall is average, acceptable. But, the swimming pool and the deck area is ugly. So tiny and crowded. Nowhere to squeezed in between the over crowded sun-bathing beds. No privacy. Feel like I was a goldfish in an aquarium tank stared by anyone walking pass the spa elevator only shielded with clear glass. Most areas of the hotel are cool and comfortable to be around. My wife and I spent 3 nights here and found the hotel very good value for money. The look of the common areas is very contemporary - it creates a distinct impression ...much better than generic hotel decor. The rooms are good-sized though the housekeeping can be a little slipshod at times. The supply of free bottled water is generous but the shelves in the bathroom were quite dusty when we checked in and the towel replacement erratic. The location of the hotel is good - there's a lot of food opt... It's a nice hotel, no doubt about it and most of the other reviews sum it up pretty well to be fair. It's in the Patpong area of Bangkok which is, shall we say, "lively". In fact that bustling atmosphere is perhaps the biggest drawback of this hotel; while my room is on the top floor (level 24), I can still hear the noise of the street outside (the windows don't open) in the early hours of the morning. Two minor bugs: 1, the tea and coffee making facilities don't include any milk, either in U... Read more

Generally staff are still polite and friendly, but lack that personal touches. Previously I ranted and raved about their new Platinum and Suites privileges that included sparkling wine during breakfast, which is still ongoing. But they have shifted from the Mezzanine floor to the main buffet seating area, but location seemed a little off as its basked right under the morning sun which meant a good tan during breakfast as well as the lift which seemed really awkward. Once out in the city, we had a hard time finding a cab that uses the meter, so having taken a metered cab out gave us a range to use when talking drivers down. ...but being Bangkok means that there are lots of "massage" parlours nearby as well as the Night Market which I had a quick walk around but seemed to mostly be full or tourist tat! Room itself was modern, functional clean and comfortable which meant I was happy to stay there for a few days but no "wow" factor Excellent restaurant opposite which does great Thai food and a "buy 1 get 2 free" (!) beer offer!

Le meridian Bangkok is basically the best among SPG properties in BKK, from security to neighborhood, elegancy to great food, excellent staff, as an SPG Platinum member I must admit that this hotel still provides me better than many among SPG.

We had a very pleasant stay at Le Meridien Bangkok. The service far exceeded our expectations. The staff were exceptional and very pleasant to work with. The location is close by to the Patpong night market and plenty of restaurants, street vendors and other various shops. There was also a BTS and MTA station within walking distance. We only ate breakfast here and the buffet cost us 1000 baht ($30 US) for two of us. Although this is a little high in Bangkok the buffet itself was very good... Read more

Was put on level 24 which is the top floor of the hotel. Top 3 floors are for SPG members. They remembered my preference for a room closer to the lift lobby :) Staff are friendly as always. Both the MRT (Sam Yan ) and BTS (Sala Daeng) are less than 15 minutes walk away (Sala Daeng is closer) which makes it great if you want to avoid the infamous Bangkok traffic. Mind you peak hour on the train means a "packed sardines" experience on the train.

I stayed 2 nights and 3 days in Bangkok with my friend, and we were treated so well! I loved our room, which had a separate bathtub and shower. I took advantage of the in-hotel spa and booked two different massage appointments with them, both times very lovely. (I learned on this trip to Thailand, I didn't really like Thai massages.) This hotel is right where the weird Night Market is, if you want to go to bars, and see *ahem* shows, this is really close. It also caters to the Japanese busines... Read more

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights last week, such a lovely hotel in a great location. Our room was on the 17th floor ( one of only 3 floors that are non smoking, so beware you have to ask for this) was really great, amazing view, comfy massive bed and great bathroom. The staff here were all so polite and helpful and the food is delicious in their restaurant Latest Recipe. We will definatley stay here again when we visit Bangkok again. ū???

If you want a luxury hotel for a reasonable price in the middle of everything in Bangkok, Le Méridien is the best choice! Next to the entrance of the night market and close to public transportation, the location is simply perfect. Rooms are big, modern to fancy...and the service is more than friendly. Eric Foppen from front desk took great and personal care of us and organized a fantastic babysitter service for our 1 year old twins (400 Baht/hour). And for the breakfast buffet you should plan a... I stayed for 4 nights during my first visit to Bangkok. I was given a room on the top floor (24) of the hotel which had magnificent views of the city. The room was large and very clean, the bed was very comfortable despite my initial concerns it might be too soft. The one small criticism of the room was the lighting in the bathroom, it was a little too dark even with all the lights on. The hotel is directly opposite the Patpong night markets which are fun to have a wander around and there are lo... Read more

The checking-in was such a pleasant experience - the ambience and design of the lobby was very welcoming, the staff at the front desk provided excellent service, and with such great charms. I was given a room upgrade to a corner room with a panoramic view of the area. We were very appreciative of that gesture. Our favourite is definitely the breakfast! - wide selection of delicious, healthy and nutritious choices.

The Le Meridien is perfectly located , close to the sky train , but also surrounded by very good reasonably priced Thai restaurants. The staff in the hotel is very friendly and helpful, I rarely had such a good service in a hotel. We had our room on the highest floor (24th) and the views on the city are really incredible. The room size is good with a nice bath room, completly adequate for a city tour. As written based on the fact that the location is safe you can have excellent dinner around the... Read more

The hotel is strategically located and it can get very busy at night at Patong street where you can find almost everything you need. I enjoyed greeting the cheerful front of the line staff every morning and late in the evening. I would have no hesitation in recommending this trendy hotel to anyone and would pretty much come back again.

This hotel was beautiful! We stayed in a suite which had a very cool open concept. The decor was really nice and the overall amenities of the hotel were very modern. The staff was extremely polite and helpful with providing recommendations of efficient ways of doing things on our list of things to do. They also provided us with great recommendations of small inexpensive restaurants in the area for when we wanted a quick convenient meal. The hotel is conveniently located close to the sky train. My husband and I just left this hotel and wish we could have stayed longer! The location is excellent as it's near one of the busy night markets. Had a few great clubs nearby and loads of food options including western franchises if u miss home. Also within 5 min walk to BTS transit and MRT (underground) train system. A mall across the MRT is where I got my SIM card...thank you BIG from Tour With Locals for setting me up! We ordered room service and food was pretty good. We were also upgra... Read more

Le Meridian is located right in the heart of Bangkok- near the night market, nightclubs and hawker stalls. Despite being located in the middle of exciting chaos, the hotel is a upscale sanctuary -- beautifully designed and welcoming. The staff was incredibly helpful. The outdoor pool and workout areas are great.

In a seriously grown up area. And by god is it excellent. This is a gem of a hotel built right in the middle of the city and almost opposite the night market. It's classy and elegant in a kind of understated way. This isn't a hotel where you will walk in and immediately it hits you. It grows on you and you begin to so appreciate the beautiful quiet rooms as an oasis. The service is first rate and the food is excellent. I particularly loved breakfast. But room service was brilliant too. T... Read more
