The place is amazing, giant rooms big enough for 15 mates. The breakfast is perfect and if you did not get the breakfast package don't stress the is a McDonald's near the foyer. Underneath the building the us a shopping centre with bits and bobs. great feed and overall great hospitality

Conveniently located in the heart of the shopping district. The rooms are small but very clean and comfortable enough. Renovated fairly well with the removal of carpets is a great improvement. The reception on the second floor is most inconvenient and impractical. The reception manager was inefficient and unhelpful when dealing with our check-out arranged by our travel agent. The worst breakfast buffet ever needs to improve.

hotel in the heart of market area, the location was good for airport rail travel. nice refurbished room, but very disappointed with the rest of the hotel. as it mainly catered for the indian tourists and was very noisy, with other guests. we had 2 nights there, only had one breakfast as the breakfast and breakfast room was very disappointing as hands stuck to the backs of chairs and arms to the table and catered mainly for Indians not nice. we will return to baiyoke sky for our next trip.

Well located hotel in the heart of the market district Ive always used the Indra Regent as a nights stay before heading off somewhere else in Thailand. 5minute walk from Pratunam Market and 3-minute walk from Ratchaprarop Skytrain Station.Inexpensive accommodation and you get what you pay for. As I said, well positioned for putting your head down between locations and snooping around the city for a day. It has been around for years and is always busy with international travellers .

The rooms were convenient. The major drawbacks were:1. No plug point in the room to even charge your fone.2. We were 4 of us and a 1 ltr bottle wasnt enough. We were given a glass bottle. Was difficult to handle it when children were around.3. No free Wifi in the hotel which is really shocking for a tourist . 4. Hotel staffs were not able to understand n converse in English. It was very difficult for a non thai person to converse with the hotel staff.could employ hotel staffs who can speak basic ... Read more

Good location, next to the Pratunam Market with many things especially street foods. Old hotel but comfortable and clean room. But one except point, no free wifi and we had to pay 65 baht because we use the plastic bag what is used for washing clothes and we don't know about it, they just told us when we checked out so we don't have time to take it back to them.

If your looking for a market place to shop its on your doorstep, which means you can take your shopping back to your room and head out again to do more. Staff are very warm and helpful. In Dec 2014 we were staying in this hotel and made some comments to improve the services.I complained on Trip Advisor that the breakfast was the same everyday. This time we stayed for 4 nights and the food was terrible. There was almost nothing to eat.Everyday it was just fried eggs some rice, potato and a vegetable curry.I complained to my travel agent who is in Bangkok. On the last day he also joined at the breakfast.Any decent hotel gives bacon, sausages and baked beans. When this was brought up ... I have been staying at this hotel during my visits to Bangkok since 2003. Although a good hotel for the main shopping area of Bangkok, there are now additional reasons to stay here. First is the relatively new Airport sky train station that is now only 3 blocks from the hotel. This makes an excellent link to either the main international airport and also going the other way it links with the local BTS skytrain which was always a very long hot walk away before this new airport train terminal was ... Have stayed at the Indra Hotel before & choose it again because of location & it was familiar. Good value for money. We stayed on the 15th floor, rooms have been redecorated, they are modern, clean & tidy. Included breakfast is good & great way to start the day. Staff helpful. Only downside is the wifi, hardly in exsistence, speed terrible. Hotel didn't charge us for it, but wifi is essential when travelling these days, so it would be good if the Indra could get this right. Other than wifi, I wo... Read more

I know internet access isn't necessarily what people prioritise in looking for a hotel but I also understand in this day and age how important internet access can be for travelers to connect and inform their trips. So if you are of the latter category and appreciate good wifi access then this hotel probably isn't for you. There was no free wifi in the rooms. You could pay for it but it was 250THB/hour (yes, you read that correctly - hard to believe that price could be charged anywhere let alon... Read more

I stayed in this hotel from 1st July 2016 till 3rd July, we arrived at midnight so we had to take elevator to the their check-in counter at 4th floor. While we moved in the room, I checked the room immediately, as my past experience, it always good to check the room even you are sleepy. So I found out that the Glass mineral bottle broke inside the refrigerator and the laundry bag not available( which cost 65 baths). So I inform the counter, so I wouldn't be charged. And then my wife found a smal... Read more

This hotel provides breakfast, wifi, and lift. Breakfast was standard, most of it just typical breakfast with some menus, doesn't have white rice. Wifi was great at lobby, but down in room. Bell boy are very helpful. Great lobby for waiting, it has big sofa just next to the breakfast place. Overall clean and near hotel.

Nice older hotel. The 3 rooms we had were all clean and everything worked fine. We liked the fact that it was within a few blocks walking distance from the Central World shopping center and there was a night market across the street on the corner. 7-Eleven close by, McDonald's on the ground floor of the hotel for those looking for that. When we come back to Bangkok we would stay here again.

We stayed on exec level 15 with great views in an adjoining room for our kids. Overall a great hotel close to major shopping malls, markets and trains. Staff are very friendly and helpful, would like to make special mention and praise to Mayulee cleaner on level 15. She was very friendly and helpful and made our stay pleasant & memorable. Only gripe would be the WiFi was expensive and not free. Would stay again.

the loacation was nice because it was near different stores the breakfast buffet was so disappointing, bland, no other options. Guests should just eat at McDonalds at the ground floor of the hotel. Some of the staff were rude. The hotel should make sure that every staff could understand and speak english so they could talk to guests who come from other countries.

Stayed here in many occasions, pretty much every time I stay in Bangkok for longer than a day. Clean rooms and premises, buffet breakfast is ok, friendly staff. I find the location handy, in 3 minute walk to train that goes directly to airport. Much cheaper on the train, 40baht each way versus 500baht with taxi. it takes 30 minutes regadles of traffic. Major shopping malls 10 minutes walk away.
