The place is amazing, giant rooms big enough for 15 mates. The breakfast is perfect and if you did not get the breakfast package don't stress the is a McDonald's near the foyer. Underneath the building the us a shopping centre with bits and bobs. great feed and overall great hospitality

Conveniently located in the heart of the shopping district. The rooms are small but very clean and comfortable enough. Renovated fairly well with the removal of carpets is a great improvement. The reception on the second floor is most inconvenient and impractical. The reception manager was inefficient and unhelpful when dealing with our check-out arranged by our travel agent. The worst breakfast buffet ever needs to improve.

Well located hotel in the heart of the market district Ive always used the Indra Regent as a nights stay before heading off somewhere else in Thailand. 5minute walk from Pratunam Market and 3-minute walk from Ratchaprarop Skytrain Station.Inexpensive accommodation and you get what you pay for. As I said, well positioned for putting your head down between locations and snooping around the city for a day. It has been around for years and is always busy with international travellers .

Was difficult to handle it when children were around.3. No free Wifi in the hotel which is really shocking for a tourist . 4. But one except point, no free wifi and we had to pay 65 baht because we use the plastic bag what is used for washing clothes and we don't know about it, they just told us when we checked out so we don't have time to take it back to them.

I have been staying at this hotel during my visits to Bangkok since 2003. Although a good hotel for the main shopping area of Bangkok, there are now additional reasons to stay here. First is the relatively new Airport sky train station that is now only 3 blocks from the hotel. This makes an excellent link to either the main international airport and also going the other way it links with the local BTS skytrain which was always a very long hot walk away before this new airport train terminal was ... We liked the fact that it was within a few blocks walking distance from the Central World shopping center and there was a night market across the street on the corner. 7-Eleven close by, McDonald's on the ground floor of the hotel for those looking for that. We spent 3 nights at this Hotel on the 16th Floor last month, being our 5th stay in Bangkok but first time at this Hotel. We decided to stay at this hotel for its central location and good rates, with good shopping on your "door step" along with restaurants including Mac's. Found our room a good size for my wife and I. Good views of Bangkok from room and quite with good black out curtains, appears the room has been recently been renovated to a high standard. The only downfall was the shower lack... Read more

We booked this hotel for the first time. We must have received an upgrade, as we stayed on the 15th floor- executive rooms. THank You Indra! I cannot comment on the other floors. We were welcomed by friendly front desk staff. This is a very busy hotel. The room was spacious and clean. Bed very comfortable. The rooms were renovated recently and rip clean. The lifts are a bit tricky, as your room card gives you access to your floor, which is a good form of security, as the basement and lower floo... Read more

We have been coming back to the Indra Hotel for the last 20 years, the recent renovations made to the upper floors, the friendly, welcoming staff, and the location makes for a perfect stay. We keep being welcomed by the same friendly faces, especially Head Cleaner for 12th floor Pattina, Bell Boy Arnop,Reception Cholticha and Manager Bob. Breakfast on the 4th floor is very good, nice selection of food and the egg station outside cooks lovely omlette or fried eggs. With hundreds of markets at the... Read more

Very happy with large and clean room, and very clean bathroom. - Breakfast limited - Reception (4th floor) very helpful. - Wi-fi very expensive in rooms but free in reception area - On ground floor there is a small shopping mall, including pharmacy and McDonald's cafe. - Surrounding streets full of market stalls and cafes/restaurants, especially Indian/Pakistani. Shopping malls nearby - Near to railway station for airport

Have been going to this hotel for many years now. The Location is great. Easy to get to by train from airport, markets everywhere a great base to explore this city. Pleased to see that the rooms have been refurbished and are very modern and smart. Pool area is nice and quiet prefect place to chill out. Love this hotel and will be choosing it again on our return to Bangkok

This place offers you good collection at a discounted rate one can actually spare a day for shopping in this place. It has a hotel connected with it but the shopping complex draws maximum visitors. The shop called Indra sounds offers televisions at a competitive price and also provides details of refunds and other queries relating to such purchases

However the warm greeting I received from (Choom) the bell captain and (chee) the manager I felt immediately at home. The staff of the Hotel are so friendly and welcoming. It just reminded me why I keep coming back to the Indra.I must say the break... I stayed in this hotel for 4 days on a business trip. Fairly good sized rooms, courteous staff, prompt service, centrally located near shopping malls and the putnam market in walkable distance. All fine except for food, whether you order continental or indian cuisine, all of them had the same thai taste influence !! Breakfast selection is not so great. I would certainly recommend for stay. Note to hotel management : please improve your cusine taste especially for continental and indian.

Short and sweet.....pretty good place to stay for a holiday if you haven't been to Bangkok before. Great location with shopping, markets and food all within walking distance. Big clean rooms, good food and more staff than you could poke a stick at. Note to management - free wifi in the rooms would be handy, and while the in-house tour organizers in the lobby and on the front steps were helpfull when we approached them for info, we were badgered by them day and night every single time we left or ... A good hotel for budget travelers who like to go out and not stay back at the hotel to relax. The hotel wasn't maintained that well and we saw lot of dirt under the beds when we moved to combine the twin beds together. The breakfast wasn't the best. The hall ways were a bit gloomy and dark. I stayed there during my recent trip to Bangkok. The hotel has excellent location. Rooms are pretty good. The food is absolutely horrible. More horrible is the attitude of the staff. They do not understand English. The restaurant staff doesn't know the details about the items served in buffet. The kitchen staff shows an attitude as if they are paying us to stay there. Had to wait for one hour to get tea bag pouch.

The Indra Regent is in my opinion a little overpriced for what the competition is offering for the same suburb in Bangkok, that hasn't stopped me from staying here though as I believe the location of the Indra Regent is by far better than some other places in Pratunam/Sukhimvit. With a shopping centre part of the lobby and nearby you have the Pantip plaza, Platinum Fashion mall and a large range or street stalls, the shopping within a few kilometres of the hotel is amazing and you can leave thi... Lobby of the Hotel is on the 4th floor. When they drop you and go there is no one to help with your luggage up the stairs. For a while you will stand there try to make sense of where to go next. People came out of the pharmacy and were so friendly to tell us that we need to go to the lifts and to 4th floor. On the 4th floor you are warmly greeted with unfriendliness. Good location in regards to shops. Although facilities such as bar and dining are minimal. Perfect place to be if your looking for a quiet hotel. Staff are friendly. Would be nice if the pool was open longer and if the bar was open not just the small bar in the lobby or pool. Rooms need dvd players as tv channels are very limited. But overall my first time visit was good. Enjoyed my stay.

Location is really good, main reason I came back here for my second stay. Breakfast is very average, and a lot of the staff were very very rude and everything was inconvenient to them. Room has been renovated since my last visit in August 2015 which was nice. Has no wifi which is just necessary in 2016. The wifi rates are expensive if you do want wifi.

I stayed at this hotel while visiting Thailand on last April 2016. Rooms were good ; very spacious. What I disliked was staff who displayed lack of transparency in communication. Beware! people manning the tourist desk simply avaricious and dishonest and could take advantage of your ignorance. So do your research properly before availing their services. Further not an ideal place to stay if you are looking for night entertainment. Stay at Sukhumvit if you have such an agenda.
