My 2nd time staying in this hotel. As IHG member, I get late checkout without requesting for it. Simple free breakfast though variety is not alot. Bed is still as comfortable and that is the reason why we are back. Staff is friendly and able to communicate in English. Hotel is about 5 mins STROLL from bts and there is a McDonald that opens from 7am to 2am. There are two 7-11 nearby. Next to hotel abt 50 steps away, is the famous Lek massage which opens from 9am till 12 midnight. There is a loc... Read more

We've requested a connecting rooms which was accommodated. Room (1421/1401) size was sufficient with modern decor and the best of all the air-conditioning was strong. This is my second stay at the property due to its fantastic location. Walking distance to the BTS as well as MBK mall. Check-in staff (a guy) was very friendly and cheerful.. One thing that the management might want to look into is to use back the previous profile if the customer has been there before as it doesn't really make sense to be filling up the address etc every time. First room given to us had some issues with the air-con but was prompted handled by the front desk staffs. Rooms are as... Read more

I loved the hotel's design and service, It's a young, no fuss hotel you can rely on. However it is situated in a very bad place for tourists. Near the national stadium. MBK mall and Skytrain we thought it is a central place but it is not a walking area, it's surrounded by highways and has little attractions.

Stayed at Holiday Inn Express Siam for 3 nights and this hotel exceeded my expectations! I read many good reviews about this hotel and some bad ones especially on the breakfast menu so I was not expecting much. To start off, the hotel is located 5-10 mins walk from the National Stadium station. The hotel is not visible from the station (which I hoped for!). When you get off from the escalator, do not walk straight. Go to the other direction (to your left) and you will pass Mercure/Ibis Hotel &... Read more

I loved the breakfast. The choices were a limited range but the food was good. It helped me save on breakfast. There were services outside the hotel to call for taxi services. Location is good as it is walking distance to BTS station and MBK. Room is small but comfortable. Wifi signal is strong but their breakfast spread is limited. Room comes with coffee-making facility. There is a Mcdonald in the hotel, so if you are sick of the limited breakfast option provided by the hotel, you can grab the breakfast from the fast food joint. Lek Massage palour is also located next to the hotel. Overall our stay is comfortable.

If you want to shop at MBK, Siam centre & Siam paragon then it's a superb hotel for you, because they are within walking distance. Especially MBK which is just across the road. The bed is soft and cosy, room is clean, hotel receptionists are friendly and hotel wi-fi is good. I'm very satisfied with the stay. However as I like to shop at Platinum fashion mall, in my next visit, I'll stay somewhere near there.

HIE Bangkok Siam is located next to a metro station which is a real plus. There is a MacDonalds on site where one could grab a bite, useful option to have after a late flight in. Stayed for 2 nights while in Bangkok and was really impressed. We were the only backpackers but the staff didn't treat us any different, they were so helpful. Breakfast was really good with lots of western choices, cereals, pastries, cooked etc. Easy to get to from the airport, just get the city shuttle then bts to national Stadium, the hotel is signposted from the station platform, exit 1. Great views for the room, especially at night (we were on the 20th floor) There's a tesco close by and ... Read more

While I agree with all the positive reviews re its convenience, friendly services, value for money...,, I sincerely hope it can upkeep its standard of cleanliness which seems degrading over time, relative to my previous stays. 1. Bathroom - dirty spots were noted on wall, remaining hair on the floor. 2. Bed - remaining hair on bed, bedsheets weren't properly cleaned but ok after change. Bedsheets should be changed for every new checkin. 3. Closet door and hangers - sticky to hand. Overall, the ... Read more

Always recommend people to stay at this hotel when in Bangkok as I have had many great stays here over the years, however unfortunately this time it was a bit of a disaster. I booked months in advance and paid extra for the Executive room as we knew we wanted to relax coming back from Europe and on our way to Sydney. We knew we would be jet-lagged and spending a bit of time in the room. The Executive rooms are in no way different to the standard rooms- it would be great if someone could tell m... Read more

Good sized room, big enough for an extra bed for my 19 yer old son with us. Our room was on the 23rd floor facing the stadium and the view through the floor to ceiling window was excellent. Room was clear. All staff were very helpful. Small gym on top floor we did not have time for but it looked okay. Not much going on in the roof garden. Breakfast was pretty good, cereal, fruit, coffee, good choice of pastries and toast fruit juice and coffee and coffee. Also plenty of cooked options though ... Read more

The hotel is just off the national stadium station, walking distance to Siam malls. Very modern and contemporary. The staff is an absolute delight. Nice gym and a wonderful views of Bangkok. I tried breakfast one day and turned away, there were so many people and large tourist groups that I could not managed. Other than that I recommend the hotel. Good for families!

This was an upscale Holiday Inn Express. I have stayed in better, but it is definitely better than any US Holiday Inn Express. The staff was friendly and it was close to a rail station. The location of the hotel was just ok. There is a small night market down the street and it's pretty close to a large mall. However, nightlife was at least a cab ride away. I didn't really have a chance to use the amenities of the hotel. Their breakfast was just ok, but the room and room view was fantastic... Read more

At checkin, few staff spoke English although all knew the procedures needed. Any other requests were very difficult to convey. Our room was on the 19th floor, and we had an excellent view over the adjacent national stadium. The room was big enough to move around in comfortably, and the ensuite layout was good, but they were well used, and appeared in line for a refurb soon. The hotel's location is excellent, within walking distance of the BTS, the Siam and further on the Paragon shopping malls. ... Read more

We booked here for the beginning of our adventure. The location was very convenient for getting around as it is close to the BTS. A good money exchange was close by as was a grocery store. The staff were very helpful in getting taxis for us when we needed them and making sure that the driver understood where we were headed. The breakfast was bountiful and very tasty. The room was comfortable. McDonald's was handy for a cold soft drink.

There is a super rich money exchange (which gives u the best rates in thailand ) which is very close to the hotel. The location of the hotel is great - in the heart of the shopping area and a very short walk from the BTS National Stadium station. Check-in was efficient and professional. The rooms are good - better than might be expected of a Holiday Inn Express. The decor is contemporary but some of the furniture is showing its age. Conveniently located at National Stadium along the BTS so taking the train back to the airport at the end of trip was a piece of cake. Rooms are small, compared to my previous stay at the Mercure. Check in and check in were smooth, no problem. Took the Superior Room and the room and bathroom was big. The corridor leading to the room was dimly lit. Breakfast was quite busy. Small lobby. Not enough place to sit during peak hours. Location is about 100 meters from the National Stadium BTS (Exit 1). Within walking distance to Siam area (MBK, Paragon, Siam Centre, Hard Rock etc) around 10 minutes walking. There is a McDonalds next to the hotel lobby.

We stayed here for two nights. The location is just perfect, right in the centre of the city with the Discovery mall at walking distance. The rooms are very nicely done and are apt for 2 people. Staff is very corteous too. The breakfast though needs some improvement. The most disappointing and the surprising thing is that they do not have a restroom in the lobby. If the guests want to go to a restroom, they have to go to the adjoining McDonalds. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

We stayed here after being sent away from the Heritage hotel where we had a confirmed booking. The hotel helped out and agreed to a decent last minute rate given the fact that we had lost out on our previous hotel. The only down side is that there are no open restaurants around after 22:00 (except for mc'donalds).
