Good Hotel with large lobby, Lifts are a maze though. Staff is well mannered as one has come to expect from Thai hotels. Food is OK. They have several options within premises. Overall a recommend. The room I stayed had small bathroom, not sure if all rooms are similar. Check for this if you are the sort wanting large bathroom s or tub.

The one thing about an International Chain Hotel of this kind is that you know basically what you're going to get. The hotel is large and clean. The public areas were well air conditioned. The room large, clean and well appointed. The bathroom is also spacious. A nice touch are the international power sockets in the guest room. No adaptor required. I paid for Club accesses. The inclusions here are a little average but i guess it is after all a Holiday Inn and not an Intercon.

I love staying in Holiday Inn, Silom. I have my little ritual every time I reach Bangkok and this hotel's facilities make part of it. I am extremely happy with the laundry service, always excellent and before time! The food here is amazing though what I must recommend is that you always ask to reconfirmed your order while ordering less spicy for instance. They are great and always try to accommodate everyone's different pallets, also will always have a happy face when serving. Tom Kha Gai ... Read more

I stayed at Holiday Inn Silom for two days. It was a business trip and I wanted an hassle free experience so i chose to stay! There were some hiccups and delay at the check inn, and the fact that I had a long and tiring journey made this look even bad. Apart from that, no other complaints from the place. The rooms / bathroom were very clean and well designed. Food is good and not too expensive. Staff is really courteous and helpful. I did not get a chance to use all the amenties but they l... i've probably stayed around 15 times over the years at this property. Some changes are noticeable - refurbished rooms, restaurant has an updated look and a few small changes to the bar. The lobby still has its old-world charm with the traditional tailor shops lining one end of the lobby. As an IHG Platinum member, i was speedily checked in, and was upgraded to a superior room. Although a bit old and may seem run down from outside, it has some of the best rooms in Holiday inns in Bangkok. It also offers beautiful tennis court, gym, steam and sauna. The spa facilities here are useless. Food and beverage options are also limited inside the hotel. But given it's wonderful location, you can just walk to any of the joints nearby. Plenty of options at all price range within walking distance.

Convenient from the Expressway. Filled mainly by Emirates crew. The Executive lounge is ok but getting tired looking and needs an update. The only update is the staff uniform which is uninspiring. Normally pleasant staff. Hari bar a bit quiet

We stayed at the Holiday inn in silom Bangkok . It is a good hotel . Great rooms , great service . It was centrally located to alot of tourist places . However you would have to walk a bit . Do not take the Tuk Tuk they will charge you double . Take an uber . However it's best to walk in a city like Bangkok with crazy traffic . Go to the night market . If you get bored of Thai Food try out Zanotti they have delicious Italian food . Go see Emerald Temple , sleeping Buddha , grand Palace . Sky Bar... Read more

We have stayed many times at this hotel, and it continues to be a good choice. Some recent updates that we noticed on this visit were a new bar at the pool area, as well as new lounges and other pool furniture. Less pleasing things were that the in-house Indian restaurant has closed and we found the service in the executive lounge to be quite frosty during this visit. However, HI Silom remains a good choice in a city with lots of options.

overall the food was ok but it is not a huge buffet. The only thing is the noise. I think this hotel has a lot of seminars so fr lunch it is packed with full of people so it is difficult to go and serve yourself. Anyway for business or quick lunch it is good enough

The main pluses of the hotel is its location on Silom Road where you can stroll in the evening though this part of town is not where you will find the better restaurants. The fashion outlet and jewelery center next to it is large but disappointing (you will not find value for money in this center so don't even try). There are dozens of security in the Lobby which is good but a system of digital cards for the elevator would be an even better option in my opinion. The room is the standard 4 star ... Read more

The holiday inn silom hotel is a very nice hotel. I actually visited the hotel and remember it back from july 2011, which is not very long ago. The rooms are nice, clean and reasonably priced, the service is impeccable. There are a few restaurants in the hotel, though we tried the Indian restaurant whoch had awesome music. The location of the hotel is superb! Definitely coming back here again whenever in Bangkok.

Stayed at the holiday inn on silom so many times I lost count. Great Hotel, amazing staff and for the dollar you spend, well it just adds up. Location is great not too busy but with silom going though a phase of renewing itself this area has become very popular with restaurants, bars etc opening left right and center. Service is outstanding, the lounge offers what you need and it feels and the internet speed for the traders and online whizzes amongst you is just great. I will be back for more... Read more

Never fails to be welcoming with terrific service. The rooms are way above my expectation for a 4 star hotel, albeit we are ihg members so are upgraded. Even so, this hotel punches above its weight. The street opposite contains countless jewellery outlets specialising mainly in cut sapphires and rubies, which we feel are good value. Patpong is about 20 mins walk, so you are away from the craziness, but near enough to reach if that's your thing. The river is about 10 mins walk from the hotel. ... Read more

I absolutely love where the hotel is located, and just so you can make an idea as well, it is just a couple of steps away from Shangri-la, and one knows they pretty much get the top spots within the city. Wi-Fi is free of charge, and if you would like to go out buying things a tuk tuk ride towards the MBK Center, which plenty of tourists seem to enjoy for shopping, is just around 100-120 Thai baht. Staff is absolutely amazingly polite, which always makes a difference as well.
