spent three nights at the Courtyard by Marriot in Bangkok...not to be mistaken with JW Marriot which I first landed at by mistake, since both are in Sukhamvit. The staff at the Courtyard are perfect ambassadors for the land of smiles. My first request was for a change of room to the smoking section...accomplished without a hint of a fuss and in a few minutes. My brief moments in the non-smoking room was sufficient to calm me down after the hotel mix up...spacious, bright, and light looking. ... Read more

It was a long stay in Courtyard Marriott. It is clean and neat and the breakfast is good! The main reason of staying here is because of its great service. From the lobby reception to the housekeeping, all being well taken care of with a home alike warm feeling. And I enjoyed the service very much especially at the executive lounge. I would say all staffs is very friendly in this hotel. There is this lady who named Tar is the friendliest & best smiling person in the hotel. She has been very hel... Read more

Good hotel, set in a cluster of big brand hotels all close to the Erawan shrine. Best part about this hotel is the location, right next to the metro, multiple bus stops (that offer easy connectivity to the Palace / temples area), malls (or all kinds and sizes) and eating joints. Basic supplies are at close reach too.

This is a wonderful hotel which I have now stayed twice in the past two months. Rooms are clean, staff are super-friendly and knowledgable. The executive lounge puts out a pretty decent spread for cocktail hour. The hotel is in a great location and set back from the main road making it very quiet. The General manager Killian goes out of his way to meet his Guests, say hello and check on their stay. This is the only hotel that I will stay at when in Bangkok.

A hotel that delivered all that was expected. Although typically executive privileges would be extended in the US, we were a bit jarred to find out they would not be at this location. Nonetheless we paid for the upgrade and were able to access the benefits of the lounge. Comfortable hotel in a busy city. Lunch buffet is a steal and the food is excellent in the ground floor restaurant! Try the duck.

I can't think of a time when I've received better service from a hotel. Staff were unfailingly polite and helpful and the room cleaners were meticulous. The room I stayed in was generously sized, nicer than I had expected and felt like good value (although I haven't stayed in enough places in Bangkok to be sure). I would recommend this hotel and would stay there again if/when I return to Bangkok.

Hotel is conveniently located near malls, shrines, and good restaurants. The staff at this hotel is super friendly. Each one of them from the front desk to bellman to the house keeping and restaurant staff (ALL) always have smiles on their faces. Hotel Tuk Tuk is available to take you to the nearest skytrain station whenever you like. Taxi rides from the hotel to various places are easily available for a reasonable price. This hotel is pretty good with modern facilities. It is set in the quiet area of Bangkok for those who do not want the hustle & bustle of the busy city life. The hotel had a good range for their breakfast covering both eastern & western palette. The hotel is only 2 stops away from MBK on the BTS rail and 1 stop from Siam Square (Discovery Centre). I always look at the rating in the context of the price paid. In this case I have to give the Courtyard by Marriott 5 stars. I am sure you will be bale to find a more luxurious hotel, or a better location or even better service or perhaps a better price, but it will be difficult to beat the Courtyard in more than one of those criteria. I wrote a review about 2 and a half years ago and thought it was time for another. Working in Bangkok VERY frequently, I stay at this hotel every time when there. The thing that makes this hotel so special is absolutely the staff. Their attitude, with regard to customer service, is beyond reproach. They truly strive to insure each guest is happy and well taken care of. As a regular there, they have learned my "preferences" and go out of their way to accommodate. I've been to Bangkok a few times but this was the first time staying in this area. It was convenient and easy to get to BTS by foot or the free hotel tuk tuk service to the two closest stations. Room was spacious and clean and beds were very comfortable. The lounge for Marriott Gold members was simple but nice. We caught the last 15 minutes of cocktail hour there one night and enjoyed it. Location is great (just half a km from Irawan Shrine). Rooms are smaller compared to other Marriotts'. Window view is absolutely crap. The staff is not well versed in english and pretty clueless at times (specially the ones at the reception - at the time of check-out, they messed up with my credit card and marriott member points!). In-house restaurants are decent.

The rooms are small but tastefully done and comfortable. Staff are friendly and courteous. Food is good here. The hotel is ideally located close to the sky train. The draw back here is Tour and Transport desk. They are not well equipped, the taxi service given by them is lil bad. One needs to be careful with the taxis.

We frequently stay at the Courtyard when we visit Bangkok because it is a short walk to both of the Skytrain lines, Central World, and the offices where I sometimes work. The service is friendly and supportive, the restaurant is excellent, and the WiFi works fine. It is a few hundred meters from major roads, so it is relatively quiet. I would give it higher praise, but I don't want to make it too popular because I don't want it to fill up before I can book my room!

As a regular Accor booker I kind of accidently had to book this Courtyard and didn´t regret it. Nice, helpfull staff, a great corner room and a formidable executive lounge. Will surely stay again soon.

Located in the middle of the shopping and business district and yet in a quiet alley. It gives you the best of both worlds when in Bangkok. The pleasant front desk made the stay here even better. Thank you, Ammy

I did not book my stay with TripAdvisor, did it directly. Worth every penny. From the time I was dropped off the first day to the night I was put in a taxi to go to the BKK airport. What an amazing experience. The staff and management very attentive to make my stay at the hotel a real treat. Free Tuk Tuk rides to different nearby locations. Close to train station, air walk way, shopping center and many more. The area is safe and clean.
