Very handy location to train and ferry, lots of eating places around hotel and the best doorman around. Breakfast was also very good. My only complaint is we were overcharged at reception on check in and have tried a couple of times by email to get my money back and have no reply.

Centre Point Silom situated in Bangkok's district of Bangrak is our Bangkok home when we visit the city. It is conveniently located a short stroll from the Saphan Taksin BTS skytrain station and Central Pier which is directly behind the station. This allows you to easily and affordably explore all that Bangkok has to offer. The hotel offers spacious, comfortable and well equipped rooms with either city or Chao Phraya river views. Very good location for the river boats, which are only a couple of minutes walk and good for visiting numerous locations. Hotel is next to the Sky train, so 15 minutes to the impressive shopping centres. Excellent rooms, which are large and a very good standard. Nice pool area and gym if required. Hotel staff were excellent. A range of restaurants outside the hotel, which are good and cheap - I recommend the Naslin Thai, which is across the road, for good quality cheap food.

I stayed here three times during four weeks in May/June; I chose this as my Bangkok basis for this time (traveling within SEA), and I was right. And the CPS really served as a home base, and I really enjoyed it ‚?? so I would love to give it 5/5 on TA. In fact, I enjoyed it more than the nearby Shangri-La, at less than half the price, and even more than the Oriental. The reason I have to give it 4/5 are water-related only ‚?? in the 2nd and 3rd rooms, the shower never ever got really warm ... Read more

Made a return visit to the Centre Point Silom after staying there last year (June 2015) Most of my comments from a year ago stand. It's a solid hotel overall and is located in an extremely convenient location next to the Saphan Taksin BTS station. I got a nice, big clean room and the washing machine/dryer came in very handy. The Wi-Fi situation, which I commented on a year ago as being poor, was greatly improved and I got a very good signal from my room. The only minor issue that I had in m... Read more

Nice eateries in the basement of the complex. The rooms are well equipped and it is possible to cook a meal but who would want to with all the great food choices in the area. Booked the Double Chao Phraya Grand room for my recent stay. Was disappointed with the terrace as there was no place to walk around and you wouldn't want to be standing next to the air-conditioning exhaust while looking at the river. Room was huge but could not understand why there were 2 sets of double beds limiting the wardrobe doors to be opened. The room cleaning services are up to par. Bathroom water flow is strong. The rooms are equipped with kitchenette with such appliances as water boiler (which you can keep warm), toaster, hot... Large rooms with small kitchen and washer dryer. Particularly good for long stays (e.g. 2+ weeks). Great views of the river with small balcony. Very convenient to BTS as well as highway access. Good variety of street food, reasonably priced restaruants nearby. Farily well stocked grocery in the basement of adjacent building. Rooms are a bit dated and could use repainting but still comfortable. Gym is small but adequate. Decent sized salt water pool is big enough for laps. Staff is ver... Read more

We got a deluxe river view room at a great price in the off season, and weren't disappointed. The room was clean and relatively spacious, the view from the small balcony was nice and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The sound of traffic was inescapable, but that's a small price to pay for being in the center of things. There's a shopping center below, with a department store and a Tops supermarket, which is very convenient, and it's a 5 minute walk to the sky train, which can take you an... Read more

People make all the difference. We were treated so special, every day and in every way, we nearly decided to extend our stay. Convenient location, spacious and clean rooms, fine breakfast and well priced. That's the making of an excellent rated hotel.

I just stayed again at the Centre Point Silom and this hotel does not fail to impress. This time I was on my own for a week of rest and recuperation (and Thai food!) and was a little apprehensive arriving in Bangkok by myself. As soon as I arrived at the hotel I felt like I was coming "home" in Bangkok. My room was spotless, as usual, breakfast was delicious and I love the vibrant Bangrak area around the hotel. There is plenty to see and do...oh, and eat! Try Queen of Curry in the street next to... Read more

There was an equipped rooms with polite and professional staff. Perfect restaurant for breakfast with pool view. The pool was small but you can swimming in height! If you like to shopping, you can walking or take a taxi, there was many malls and food stores near the hotel. By the way Bangkok have crowded traffic!!!! Think about your directions space then set your time... enjoy Thailand is beautiful place.

I stayed for 3 days in the Centre Point Hotel. The rooms and everthing is good and okay. But i left some money ( 500 bath) in my room and the charwoman steal my money. I complained that at the reception but they told me, that they do not understand what i mean. so never again. I was very disappointed.

We had just the standard room, which was huge, more of an apartment, really. There was loads of cupboard space, a small kitchenette with 2 hobs, microwave and kettle, plus crockery, and a dining table with 2 chairs. Also an easy chair and footstool for relaxing, watching tv, which had excellent reception. Aircon was a bit too efficient ! Had to turn it off sometimes. We didn't use the restaurant or the pool, which were on the 8th? floor, but both looked good, with nice views over the city. There... Read more

The staff here were friendly, location great, near public transport, down fall was the bathroom was dirty even after cleaning, mould right through the shower, breakfast was good, great variety to choose from. We didn't eat at the restaurant at all but from what I could see it didn't look like they served alcohol.

I stayed in this hotel last week. The hotel staff was so friendly and helpful. Room ambience is great, comfortable beds and huge space. Room comes with kitchen pantry and clothes washer & dryer for those travellers going longer than 2 weeks. A note to traveller to get high floor above 20-storey to enjoy the city view. Breakfast was good covering a mix of western and local delicacies with a swimming pool & city view.

Stayed in a grand river view suite for 11 days. The apartment was large, in fact too much cupboard space, large bathroom and great kitchen dining. Cleaning was daily and well carried . Breakfast was amazing and in an elegant area. Bangrak is a mixture of many cultures but that adds to attraction of the area. The hotel is surrounded by many good restaurants, just review Tripadvisor for suggestions. The only negative with this hotel was the 3 large air conditioners situated on the balcony which bl... I stayed here for three nights with my family in a two-bedroom suite. It was really large and well equipped. Our room had a river view which I really liked. The swimming pool was a nice place to retreat to after a long day in the city. A renovation should be performed within the next year. The personnel are really helpful and friendly. You should however AVOID using the tourist guide within the hotel, as they are overcharging and not really helpful!

My husband & I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights at the end of our holiday in Thailand. This was our 5th visit to Thailand, when in Bangkok we usually stay at Siam to be close to the major shopping malls. This time we thought we would try riverside. We loved this hotel. Our room was fabulous, delux riverview, it was spacious, had a little kitchenette with a full size fridge, very comfortable bed, spacious modern bathroom with the flashest toilet I've ever seen? Location is great with Taksin pier and metro station so nearby. The rooms are great, with dining table, kitchen, freezer and washing machine in the room. The pool is fantastic to relax after a hot day of visits in Bangkok, and the restaurant is great for breakfast buffet and snaks in the pool. Right next to the hotel is a shopping mall (very handy) with a supermarket and right across the street good restaurant options. Better impossible

Very good location (near the river and beside a commercial center, with restaurants and a good supermarket). Very attentive crew (except by one person, on the reception desk: he was unpleasant and non attentive and tried to divert us to a especific massage service - when we said we didn't want it, he was displeased and for the rest of our stay, was very nonchalant with our questions and requests. He was the only person in all of our 15 days trip, who wasn't nice and helpfull. I don't know his na... Read more

We stayed a Centre Point again in October for 6 nights. Having stayed before and written about the many amenities on that occasion, we will just reiterate that both the public areas and the rooms are excellent. This time we would like to express how the service and friendliness of the staff exceed my expectations. From the welcome and attention of the night reception manager, to the bell captain and the attendant at the lift who always smiles and is so attentive. Well done. Highly recommended an... Read more

Stayed here for four nights in November. The location of this hotel can't be beat for using the water ferry and BTS sky train. We decided to take the sky train for BKK airport to hotel. I don't recommend this idea as it took 3 trains, 2 hours and lugging massive suitcases up and down stairs. It was a workout. That's for sure. But we did save a lot of money. Cost to do was 174 baht for two people while taxi to BKK was 520 baht when we were leaving. Hotel seems fancy upon arrival. But the rooms ... Read more

If you'd like to experience socialist era rationing, please stay at the Center Point Silom. The only thing it has going for it is the location - close to the Saphan Taksin pier as well as the BTS (skytrain) stop. Other than location, this place is the pits! The staff have ZERO concept of hospitality and are rude. The hotel itself, while it has a shiny lobby, didn't impress. Perfect location with easy access to both the BTS and the river, as well as plenty of restaurants and bars close by. We were upgraded to a suite which was enormous and very well-appointed, with comfy beds. Breakfast was good by Thai standards and all staff very courteous. Only slight criticism would be that the air con is a bit noisy if that kind of thing bothers you, but all in all I would highly recommend this hotel for a short stay in Bangkok.

We stayed here for 2 days when we got back to Bangkok from traveling around Thailand before we flew out. This hotel is centrally located in Silom and very close to several different areas you'd want to visit in Bangkok. Great rooms with a kitchenette, bathtub in the bathroom, and balcony. Decent city views. Nice friendly staff but not overly hospitable. Beautiful pool area, useful gym, and sauna. Centre Point Silom was our 3rd four star hotel in Bangkok during recent SE Asia travels and, while all of them had their fine points, this was our favourite. We travel with a 'no taxi' policy whenever possible and the Silom location won for access to public transit, boats and trains. It also had the nicest swimming pool, immaculately clean with lots of sun beds. Breakfast won hands down on room comfort and view; food quality and service were a tie. We enjoyed daily complimentary cappuccinos in... Read more
