On the upside, the rooms are very clean and secure. Really secure as there are no windows. Room safe is provided which is convenient. Elevator access from front entry to lobby on 12th floor. Room floors can only be accessed from the lobby. Access to the ground floor or parking garage is on the bank of elevators around behind the room elevators. Complimentary bottled water which is a necessity as tap water shouldn't be drank. We found the beds to be surprisingly comfortable considering they felt... Read more

There was mildew and mold visibly seen on all cracks of the shower and handles, yet with cleaning everyday - there was no change. The towels were thin and flimsily. I never felt clean at that hotel. Rated as a 4 star but was more like 2.5 stars. Location is terrible unless you need to be by Central Station. Buffet was average. The hotel is located on 12 floor and up so there is no real hotel driveway or entrance which makes it difficult to find an check in. There are no bellmans nor taxi service... Read more

It depends what you want. If you are happy with a windowless room, no access to the internet and to live with several niggles then the hotel is OK. Unusualy Reception is on the 12th floor and our room was on the 6th floor. Firstly we had booking problems as we had an upgrade for our 'superior' room to a 'premium' (with a window) room only on the middle of our three nights. We could not upgrade for all three nights so we had to downgrade if we did not want to move every day. Downgrading was ... Read more

Stayed here for 2 nights. Hotel room was very roomy with plenty of storage areas. Big shower but wished the water pressure was stronger. Don't buy their bottled water! They were trying to charge me $53baht for a small bottle. 7 Eleven is around the corner. Bottle was $7baht. sucked. Otherwise ok selections.

This hotel is awesome! Staff really friendly rooms are beautiful, luxurious and very clean. Highly recommended for £40 a night! Location excellent, all major attractions within Bangkok a short bus or taxi ride away. Would definitely stay again. No complaints whatsoever with this hotel

The view from the full length window was very impressive! The bed also was comfortable. No pool though, but they offer you to use the backpacker's pool next door for 100 Baht. The back of the bar area has a great open air space with views over Bangkok! We stayed on level 11 which was right under the breakfast area. The chairs scraping on the floor resonated through our room from 6am and also during the night when the chairs at reception were moved. The hotel needs to either get rid of the... Read more

The Hotel in generell is ok, but be prepared for Rooms without windows. Just feels like living in a bunker and if you ask for a room with window you have to pay 500 Bhat per night for the upgrade. The personnel is ok and the rooms are clean. The Hotel is close to the centre

The Centra is a very good, modern hotel right in the heart of Bangkok. The staff is efficient, the rooms all you could ask for, the elevator works and the included breakfast was very good with a lot of variety. It was a little difficult to regulate the temperature in the room. With the windows sealed, there were times it seemed a bit stuffy.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable and I have no hesitation to stay here again in the future. Being close to the railway station is a bonus, although we didn't use the trains, but a good place to discover the everyday life of the locals and some tourists.

Good: Large rooms with Wifi and occasional toiletries (very hit and miss when it comes to replenishing them). Large bar area with water feature which, unfortunately, looks like a pool but is only a matter of inches deep. Very large outdoor screen for watching TV, sports etc. Restaurant offering decent buffet breakfasts and a la cart in the evening. Gym Great back deck for watching new year celebrations, particularly at the temple below and also a glimpse of fireworks. Very friendly, helpful and ... Read more
