The hotel was very clean and comfortable and I have no hesitation to stay here again in the future. Being close to the railway station is a bonus, although we didn't use the trains, but a good place to discover the everyday life of the locals and some tourists.

Good: Large rooms with Wifi and occasional toiletries (very hit and miss when it comes to replenishing them). Large bar area with water feature which, unfortunately, looks like a pool but is only a matter of inches deep. Very large outdoor screen for watching TV, sports etc. Restaurant offering decent buffet breakfasts and a la cart in the evening. Gym Great back deck for watching new year celebrations, particularly at the temple below and also a glimpse of fireworks. Very friendly, helpful and ... Read more

Wondered what we were getting into when we arrived at the hotel but when you hit the reception area it all starts to look a lot better. Check in was swift and friendly, rooms were spacious and clean with fresh fluffy towels and clean linens and everything worked just fine even though the WiFi was a bit of a pain as you had to log in every time you left and came back, the signal also wasn't that great. Everyone including us got caught on the " complimentary drink " voucher, we all seemed to think... Read more

We stayed on a few days after a G-Adventures trip. It is a clean and friendly hotel with an excellent spa. We enjoyed a Thai massage as a couple there. The breakfast buffet is excellent with a wide variety of foods. The rings are nice and the bed was comfortable

This hotel with beautiful decor everywhere, good smell. The room is comfortable and clean but they do not provide toothpaste, toothbrush or other bathroom facilities so make sure to bring if you stay here. Only big towel and one bottle for both use of shower and shampoo. The breakfast not many choices.

This hotel is near China town and near the metro. But if you are trying to see the palace and temples, this is a bad location. We had cab drivers refuse to take us back there during rust hour. We had to take a tuk tuk back, and it cost about $6, compared to a $1-2 cab ride (if you can get a cab to take you home). The breakfast is good. But the bar and restaurants are expensive- $6 for a drink and $30 for dinner without drinks, which is pricey for Thailand. The lobby is really pretty. However, wh... Read more

Location was good, view from the room was great. Very clean and well maintained room. The staff were very pleasant. Only downside, there was no pool to speak of, the double room was 2 single beds pushed together, (not much of a complaint as my partner can be a fidget so the space was appreciated???) the bar was very expensive, compared to a 5min tuk tuk journey to nearest bars etc. It's very close to the Golden Buddha, which is well worth a visit, however plan your journey ahead as there's plen... Very close to the main railway station but best to use the underground passage. Clean. Friendly staff. Good restaurant although the tea was very weak, 2 teabags only for a coffee carafe. Did not realise until the last day that we could have asked the room staff for Black tea in the room. Free water provided. Restaurant meals excellent, a brilliant touch was they sold fresh sandwiches you could take with you on a day trip. The swimming pool is just ornamental but wonderful to sit beside in the ev... We were only here for a couple of nights and the room was nice enough (and reasonably priced) but there were several things wrong. Having stayed at other 4* in Bangkok this falls short. The reception is very swish, as is the rooftop bar. The room was clean and well decorated- however there were several problems. The 'double' bed was actually two mattresses pushed together. There was only one toilet roll. The wi-fi was appallingly solw and the TV only had analogue channels, with far less than per... Read more

%The room was good enough, but the reception on the 12,floor was very unfriendly. We arrived at 10.3o at night, because we came on a trainride from Chiang May.We were not looked after before about 11.30. The staff was unhelpful und rude. The directed us in the general direction to our rooms, we had to find them our selves . The food at the restaurant was ok, the offered cocktails in the evening 2 for one, but the wouldn't give them to us, not until my husband had to get the offerslip from our roo... Read more
