This is my second stay at the BelAire and I still think it's a great hotel in Bangkok. It's close to shopping, restaurants, transport and entertainment. The staff are always very friendly and willing to assist when you have questions or need something. My special thanks to Kae in the club lounge for taking such good care of us in the evenings. One of the best value for money hotel in Bangkok. First of all this hotel is situated in Sukhumvit, one of the best place to stay in bangkok. Lots of restaurants in this area, close proximity to Sky train (Nearest station is NANA). Hotel infrastructure is good and well maintained. Staff is very courteous and helpful. We took a half day city tour from hotel with Mr. Thumb (One of the best travel guides i know). Overall experience is excelent

My third visit and again all expectations were exceeded. This hotel has a great location in a quiet Soi close to Nana Skytrain Station. The rooms are large and the staff are without exception amazing. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel as the best value in Bangkok. For a hotel dining room Tiffin is great value with a well recommended beef musaman curry. We will be back.

We were catching a flight after midnight from Bangkok so decided to book in so we could get a rest and freshen up before our flight. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful and Skytrain just 5 mins walk away. Real honeycomb for breakfast - a great treat! We spent four days here and were well pleased with the recommendation to stay at this Bangkok hotel by our friends at Flight Centre in Australia. For those coming to Bangkok the top attraction on my bucket list would be the amazing temples. The 5.5 ton solid gold Buddah is gob smackingly incredible and the lesser known but equally historically stunning 1,000 year old bell sha... Read more

We spent a couple nights here at the end of our Thailand adventure. A few negatives: there was a taxi man hanging around the front of the building. While having people hussle tourists into rides and what not is a given in Thailand, this man was annoyingly persistent. Secondly, there seemed to be a weird power surge in the rooms, so when we tried to charge our phones/ cameras/ etc, the power sockets stopped working except for the one port with our multi-plug in it.. Breakfast was good, as was t... Read more

This is a nice hotel close to the high action night life of Bangkok. It's a way away from the tourist hot spots such as the Grand Palace etc so be aware of this. Worth staying here if you want a little luxury after a big night out! Top top - check out Soi 11 for street food and bars :)

First time going to Bangkok and I booked the hotel through Booking.com.They just needed the Card details and I paid only after reaching the hotel. Right from the time ( very early) I checked in , the front desk staff was extremely helpful, obliging and very efficient. The room was very comfortable and spacious , furnishing and equipments were top-notch. The restaurant served very tasty food and I have never eaten a better Fish & Chips anywhere. Stayed on two occasions during my Thailand trip during October and still the professionalism, friendly service and help provided by the staff hasn't changed. It is still one of the best boutique hotels in Bangkok and excellent value for money, as usually breakfast is provided in the cost of the room. The breakfast is well provisioned with all the requirements one could want for breakfast. The staff are excellent with their service and friendliness in the restaurant and the food, once looking ... First time in Bangkok and this location was booked for us by friends who have been there before. On arrival our check in was quick and efficient. We were shown to our room and bags bought up by friendly staff. We booked the Tribeca room on 18th floor which allows access to happy hour free drinks daily and a number of other benefits. Meals are excellent (Restaurant or room service) and breakfast omlette or eggs any way are to die for. Close to some great venues and Close enough to catch a tuk tuk... Read more

Stumbled upon this hotel by change, while making a last minute booking. The property is well located at the quiet end of a lively street. 7/11, supermarket and restaurants are all within walking distance. If you wish to have some nightlife soi Nana is 5 min walk. What impressed the most is that despite the size of hotel, service is very personal, all throughout check -in, cleaning and breakfast. We are all-in-all satisfied. Hotel was not the cheapest option around, but considering all the benefi... Read more

Reasonably central Hotel with very attentive staff, especially in the restaurant where food and service was excellent. Pool area clean and tidy, good but basic massage/spa services available. Suitable for families. Only downside was a used syringe found in our room, left by the previous occupant which has been missed by housekeeping. The staff came and removed it immediately once notified. Please watch the tour driver outside and if you use him, make sure you know EXACTLY where you are going - r... Read more

I could not fault this hotel. It was my first time in Bangkok and my first stop going around the world in one direction. The hotel was clean, the staff very friendly and attentive. Situated at the end of a side street between two SkyTrain stations and not far from the Embassy district, this was a great first start. Unfortunately, Thailand suffered the loss of their beloved King the day before I arrived and one of my tours was cancelled. However, the unique and respectful way that everyone w... Read more

The bed and pillow was comfortable. The lobby design was chic and entertaining. The staff was very helpful. Apart from BelAire's cultural "conversion"; cutbacks also continue .... Room amenities have gradually diminished over recent years & the buffet breakfast is a pale shadow of its former self. The friendly staff however remain efficient with typical Thai courtesy. Otherwise the special Thai ambience has pretty much disappeared. Location still OK, but less so as the denizens of Sukhumvit Sois 3 and 3/1 overtake Soi 5. The previously pleasant atmosphere of BelAire's Bar & Lounge areas has been ... Read more

I've always recommended BelAire Bangkok to friends as a quiet, smart, boutique hotel. However, I was disappointed this trip to notice my room was starting to look a bit tired. As a four times visitor who's taken seven people with me and sent at least one more over the years, I expected a bit better. BelAire is one of many attractive hotels in Sukhumvit and I might look elsewhere next time. Staff nice, courteous and obliging.

A very poor attempt at a business lounge. Whilst the staff were great, the offerings were just nuts!! No variation whatsoever, no cocktails no hors d'oeuvres as specified, only open during specific times and not throughout the day. No drink or cold towel on arrival either. Basically a waste of the extra money!!! Very little on the room spec' actually happened!!

We only stayed two nights one with a very late arrival , but in the time we were there found the staff pleasant and the rooms more than adequate . It has a nice outdoor pool area with a small bar that also sells snacks ect , the breakfast had plenty of choice and the restaurant itself was open for meals 24hrs so no matter what time you get in you can have a proper meal ,which we were very glad as our arrival was so late and didn't fancy heading out to look for a meal.

I visited this hotel in 2007 and was very impressed with both the hotel & helpful staff. The location is also very central. We decided to return and had no hesitation on returning back here and I'm so pleased I did, the hotel has been refurbished since my last visit but nothing much has changed, the staff are still fantastic and the breakfasts are delicious. Would not hesitate to return again.

Overall feeling we had was. "they must have had hell of a help from photoshop" the pictures was clearly taken by someone skilled to make something not so fancy and new look quite nice. So overall, it was quite poor, in every way, small, overprised restaurant, more like a 2star motel than the 4star hotel they appered to be from what we saw booking them... Never again, no value there for the money, much better hotels in their price range to be found in bangkok!
