The main building and lobby were under renovation when we arrived, which would have been nice to know beforehand. Glad to say that the reception much improved from our last visit - even though temporarily in the residence building in the restaurant area. This time, welcoming and quick to respond. Some slight inconvenience having to use the service lift whilst the lobby is closed, but the works were kept quiet and did not disturb us at all. In room dining is pretty decent food and good value. It's around a 5-7 minutes walk to Silom Complex and Sala Daeng BTS, and away from any noisy main roads. Service from the hotel staff is quick and prompt. The actual room however, has some issues, which, along with the price, contributed to the rating. I didn't think I got value for money. The station for the Sky Train and underground is literally 5 minutes walk from the hotel. Many lovely restaurant to choose from conveniently situated from the hotel.

The place is more like a condominium than like a hotel. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The room was clean and had a nice view. They provide an free shuttle service to Silom complex, but you can also walk there and also have a self service laundry, which is great. We booked a big room with extra bedroom, it also was very nice. And when this is all so good, why would I only give average rating!? Here is the thing, to begin with, the gym is not really a gym, honestly not worst it going... Read more

We loved staying at the Bandara Suites in Silom. Located along a leafy, relativly quiet street (for Bangkok). Our 2 bedroom suite was spacious, modern and clean. The foyer is beautiful and always fragrant smelling. All the hotel staff are friendly and courteous and we loved coming back from a days venturing. The wonderful Lumpini park is 5 mins walk away and many pretty looking restaurants along the street. It offered a free shuttle to anywhere close by you may want to visit and happily organize... It was the first time for us to visit Bangkok. We have no information about this area. We met a hotel man "Yuya", he is very kind for answering our questions and he quickly suggested some plans of tours in Bangkok. Thanks for his proposal, we really enjoyed staying there. But one thing I wish I could demand the hotel should have self-laundry. Anyway, nice place, comfortable hotel. I strongly recommend you.

Staff friendly but would like to say a special mention to Mr Staporn who was always on the door with a huge smile and friendly words, very helpful guy. Buffet breakfast which was included was also nice. Great stay thank you

Bandara Suites Silom is located in the center of Bangkok. The hotel provides complimentary transportation service to Sala Daeng Station (BTS). If traffic jam happen, you can walk to the station in 6 minutes or so. Lobby, Swimming pool, Guest rooms and Restaurant for breakfast are modern and well organized. All staff had provided courteous and speedy services. Specially, I would like to thank Ms Romnalin, Ms Chonoknan and Mr. Anan.

I used to stay at this place twicw a year when it was called Chin House. The last time was in 2010 Now 2016 it has really improved from what I thought was perfect anyway. The staff were very obliging a free Tuk Tuk to Saladaeng from 10am til 8pm . The rooms have been revamped and the whole place generally upgraded. I had a double room for 55 dollars a night. Wouldn't stay anywhere else in Bangkok.

My family (5 people, kids aged 6, 9, 11) stayed for 3 nights in late September 2016. We had an apartment in the main building on the 21st floor. It was spacious with 2 bedrooms, a king bed in the main room and 2 singles in the second bedroom. We had a rollaway bed also which was in the lounge, as it wouldn't fit in second bedroom. There is a small kitchen but it is not well appointed so wouldn't suit if you wanted to cook for yourself, fine for making a cup of tea or heating up a meal. Rooms... Read more

We were a group of 5 and recently stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment on the 21st floor, with an overview of the whole of Bangkok. Room was well appointed with the 5th person having a private bed in the lounge area. The amenities were top notch and free cocktail on arrival went down well in the humid weather. The ride to the BTS in the old tuk tuk was a highlight. Great hotel with friendly staff for groups and definitely recommended.

Although we found this hotel to be good, we were very dissapointed in our room allocation. My husband and I were given a room on the 21st floor and our teenage girls were on the 17th floor. When we checked in I asked if it was possible to have 2 rooms closer together and was told no. I said we were happy to just be on the same floor, and the front desk staff said this was not possible. We stayed at the Bandara for 28 nights on one of our regular visits to Bangkok and it was our first in the Bandara ?? but probably the last too. The hotel is generally nice enough for a 4 star and some of the areas have evidently been renovated recently. There is no footpath entrance to the hotel and you have to walk up a drive, which is often busy with taxis, cars, etc. attending the hotel. This is a great hotel if you just want to sleep after a tiring day. It's away from all the action and touristy places. There's a mall nearby if you want to get something to eat or shop. Free drop available from the hotel to the mall. Overall we loved the hotel, we booked the 2 bedroom suite which was on a higher floor with excellent views. Highly recommend the hotel to stay..has a decent pool which always crowded and could never use it. Staff was decent as well.

Let me start off by saying that if I were 20 years younger and visiting with friends and not family, I would have loved Bangkok. It's a crowded and loud and vibrant city, and I wouldn't have minded staying at the Bandara Suites. Alas, I'm 20 years too old, and this probably affected my stay at the Bandara Suites a bit too much. Just thought I'd mention that. We booked a two bedrooms suite for city visit. We found the suite to be spacious and perfectly suited our needs. Two bathrooms, a small but well equipped kitchen and a lounge / dining area.
