Stay at Amari Don Muang Hotel for just one night. Our luggage is delayed with Hong Kong Airlines (don't book flight with them anymore). We arrive at the hotel at about 2am in the morning and the front stuff is really warmth and welcome, they quickly understand my problem (the delayed luggage will send to the front desk) and get the check in ready for me. I don't pay any deposit, just the room rate when I booked the room. Overall a nice experience, will consider stay at this hotel if I need to ca... Read more

This is a very nice hotel and a very busy hotel. Staff are excellent. Food at Beans could be better. Lots of Chinese people her and that's fine. Except it is socially acceptable to spit in China but they really need to draw a line at spitting in the swimming pool!! We had to leave the pool??

This was a stop over hotel for us for one night stay in Bangkok, as we had to catch a flight next morning to Phuket. The hotel is very decent, clean, nice spacious rooms, good restaurant to have a nice Thai meal, courteous staff, smooth check in and the best part was the easy access to the domestic Don Muang airport, from the hotel. Nothing beats this hotel in terms of distance nearest to the airport. The condition of the hotel is deteriorating given the number of transiting guests,,,,It's quite dusty was my first impression & coincidentally, I bumped into a guest complaining of his allergy to the hotel. I feel it is the carpet. The bed & built of the hotel is quite standard, not for a Deluxe King Size Room with a Pool view however with the price you pay but yet dusty. Stayed here twice during overnight stops on our way through Bangkok to other part of SE Asia. Clean and comfortable hotel. Direct access to the airport through sky bridge to the international terminal. Not a lot of dining options we could find nearby but did walk about 1 mile away to find some good food.

This is my number one choice for a hotel when staying overnight in Bangkok waiting on an outgoing flight. Plenty of cheap beer options across the street at the numerous local street food venders. No need for a taxi or shuttle as the hotel has a dedicated walkway that is directly linked to the airport. Numerous restaurant options at the hotel and airport.

After off-loading our luggage at the front door a rather rude bellboy told my wife that the car park was full and we would have to park elsewhere (no suggestion given) bur a security guard came to our rescue and let us park in the VIP area right outside the front door. We had to join a queue and wait about 20 minutes to check in. Our room was pleasant and well insulated from airport noise. The check-in was ok but check-out was slow. Luckily they decided to open a 3rd counter just to check out as th queue is getting longer and blocking the already narrow walkway. One discomfort during check-in was that several mosquitoes could be seen flying around the counter which eventually bit us during the check-in. I really tried to like this hotel! The staff were pleasant and attentive and the location is great if you're on a long layover at Don Mueang Airport. And that's what this hotel should be- one for business men and others passing through Bangkok. But it tries to be a large, family- oriented establishment even though there is very little to do in this part of the city. It misses on many of the details that make hotels attractive. We had a pleasant stay at Amari. Could not ask for the better spot for the location to get some rest for the next flight following morning. The room was clean, the bed was comfy. They have the connecting bridge between the hotel and terminal which is very convenient. Saved cost on transportation and travelling time on the road because it is very difficult to estimate travelling time on the road in BKK as the traffic there is quite hectic. I will definitely go back to Amari again.

I had a late night arriving at DMK airport with a connecting flight the next day at BKK airport. This hotel was perfect for an overnight stay. The hotel entrance is right in the arrivals hall so the minute you leave baggage claim, you see the hotel entrance. Having a connection flight in Bangkok's Don Muang airport, we had to stay overnight and this was the ideal choice, as it is the only hotel that is directly inside the airport premises and you just walk out from the arrivals area into the hotel (saving any taxi cost). On top of this the hotel is clean, rooms are sufficiently spacious and there is a very decent swimming pool, plus two or three choices of restaurant. Very recommended and good value for money.

Spending one night in Bangkok before traveling on, this hotel suited us very well. It was a real pleasure to be shown our room after a nearly two hour wait in line at customs at the airport. We stayed 1 short night in transit between Siem Reap and thai islands. It was very convenient for us to walk from the Don Muang airport, sleep and go back to the airport the next morning. We slept very well because room isolation is very good. Of course, furniture and rooms are quite old and breakfast quality is rather poor for Bangkok. Yet, it remained a very convenient offer. The only advantage is its location right inside DMK airport. Most domestic flights from this airport are quite early in the morning and doesn't make sense to find a hotel in town, keeping in mind the traffic and distance. This is not a new hotel. You can tell from its aged look and the architecture. Best thing about this hotel is the proximity to Don Muang Airport. If you're flying budget from the region, then this is a great choice if your business is in the vicinity. We stayed at the Amari Don Muang for 1 night on a flight layover. The hotel is very convenient having a covered walkway direct from the Airport, and clearly this is what it is relying on. We have stayed at ths hotel many times while in transit and enjoy the convenience of access from the airport walkway. The rooms are a good size, comfortable and clean. Breakfast is very good offering lots of choices. Henry J Bean Bar & Restaurant very good for dinner and drinks too. Staff in all areas seem to be eager to please guests which is nice.

I had booked another hotel but couldn't reach it because of the flash floods outside the airport so used the covered bridge to check into the Amari. Very welcoming and helpful desk staff which made me evening easier because I had just been travelling for 18 hours. Dinner was nice, with excellent service. The great service continued over breakfast though i have to say the food was less impressive than dinner. Most of the cooked items were cold and the bacon was quite tough.
