This hotel is a nice place to stay a night and go if arriving late or early flight from/to the airport. Few of the lights werent working in our room which wasnt a big deal. Hotel staff are nice but as we were checking out, I asked the lobby to call us a cab to downtown and he seemed to refuse. It felt like he wanted to sell us their in house cab service claiming that "all" cab drivers will rip us off and no cabs will come to pick us up unless we walk way out into the street. I told him that ... Read more

Vismaya Suvarnabhumi Luxury Resort located 10 minutes drive from the Suvarnabhumi airport. Inaccessible by public transport or on foot as it is far right inside a small lane of an industrial park. No shopping mall, eateries or convenient stores around. I used this Budget hotel for a night sleep only since my flight landed Bkk at 12.30 mid night and I am heading to Pattaya on following morning. Check in and out process is fast. Room is spacious and bed is larger than a king size bed! It is unco... Read more

My husband and I stayed in this hotel just for a night after arriving in Bangkok late from the U.S. before flying to Chiang Mai the next morning. It was really perfect for that purpose! Pros: -It's only a 5-10 minute drive from the airport and they offer good complimentary shuttle service. -The staff was very friendly and helpful. -There is a good ATM right in the lobby. -Room (and property) was very clean and well maintained. -Modern look and feel -Really good, reliable WIFI! -AC was won... Stayed just the one night while transiting through Bangkok BKK. The taxi driver did not have a problem finding the correct soi from the address on the booking confirmation but the hotel is a fair way down so don't panic. They have a well stocked bar in the hotel but the nearest 7-11 is back on the main road so if you need anything best to get it at BKK or on the way. The rooms were big and clean and the bed was huge. The shower kept going from hot to cold so you might need to time your lather an... Read more

The only positive of this hotel is that it's within 15 mins' drive to the airport and I only had to spend one night here. The original design is not bad but the place is absolutely disgusting and filthy. It has nothing to do with the age of the building, it needs a good scrubbing and some of the staff to grab a mop instead of just standing around. The rooms have concrete floors, the bar is a rip off with beers costing 130 baht (guess you have to make up for the cheap room rate).

If you need a place to spend a night or two while traveling through Bangkok, here's the place. The staff is amazingly friendly and helpful, the breakfast hits the spot, and the rooms are spotlessly clean. You don't want to go out walking at night from this hotel, but if your purpose is to have a swim, get to bed and pick up the plane the next day, I highly recommend it. Great shuttle service.

We stopped here for 1 night in a twin room before we caught an international flight home the next day. This place is amazing even if the road to the hotel is dodgy as hell!! Its like a 5 minute drive down a weird side street so I was really pleased when we pulled up to the Vismaya. It was lovely and quiet and the room was well laid out and very modern. The pool was awesome with sunbeds in the pool and the restaurant offers a large range of western and asian dishes (cocktails are good on a side n... Read more

I chose this hotel because it looked clean and modern, it was about 40 usd including round trip airport pick up and drop off only 10 minutes from the airport and a decent breakfast buffet. I even had delicious pad Thai At breakfast, fresh juices etc. The other big chain hotels by the airport were 4-5 times more expensive. For a quick overnight trip to bkk in transit, this hotel was perfect.

As others have said, this is simply a place to stay for one night between flights. It's location is terrible for anything other than airport access. The hotel was nice and modern, with a good pool to spend an afternoon at. The rooms were also modern and clean. A major downside for us was the essentially nonexistent WIFI in the room. The wifi by the pool was OK but slow, but in our room it simply would not connect.

I have mixed feelings about this hotel, which is located 15 minutes drive from the airport (quick and efficient airport shuttle service if arranged ahead), but in a very poor and trashy neighborhood. I have stayed three times here for a total of four nights. It is comfortable and has a mostly nice staff. On the other hand, they refused to call a taxi for me when I needed one and insisted I used their more expensive shuttle. (I walked a half mile to the main road to hail a taxi and later used Ube... This has been a great stay at a hotel airport. Bangkok is such a big city that we decided to stay near the airport our last night as we have a very early international departure. The Vismaya exceeded our expectations it is beautiful, well run and has a complimentary airport shuttle.

We have been in bangkok for a layover to Istambul and stayed at Vismaya. The hotel is located very near to the Suvarnabhumi airport, have a great pool to relax at the end of the day, have shuttle to the airport for 80 Bahts, a good bar and very beautiful and comfy rooms. Useful tip: if you are coming from Don Mueang Airport, go to MBK center and leave your bags at the Bag Storage, a free service of the mall. Then, at the end the day, pick your bags and go to the Hotel.

We stayed here for a one-night layover, but had also booked an activity for the evening in Bangkok. We wanted to take a taxi to the city for the activity, which we thought would take about 45 minutes, but the woman at the front desk refused to call us one, and insisted that with traffic, it would have taken far too much time. Instead, she said the hotel shuttle could take us to the nearest train station, and that using the subway would take us 20 minutes to get where we were going. It took us an... Read more

I was amazed how lovely this hotel was, as was not expecting much for a layover hotel. The same theme throughout is a nice touch and only 80 baht each for the shuttle to Suvarnabhumi airport which takes approx 5 minutes. Perfect for one layover with an early flight. Costs 400-500 baht in taxi from Khao san Road. Nice Breakfast, worth paying to get you set for your travels. The glass bathroom also adds a modern touch.

Despite being disappointed by the lack of flexibility on early check in times, the staff were helpful, respectful and we negotiated a compromise. The hotel was an expected delight. Big rooms with king size bed, massive bath and a shower, plus a great pool. The location near to the airport (10 minutes via shuttle bus which leaves on the hour) was excellent for a short stopover. The surrounding area was a bit grungy but as all I wanted to was sleep and freshen up this did not worry me at all. Good... Read more

We stayed at Vismaya for 1 night and were pleasantly surprised. The staff was very helpful and friendly, the hotel itself was good (with an outdoor pool a day small gym) and very well located (5 min from BKK airport) and the rooms were clean and bright. The hotel proposes a shuttle service from/to the airport. The breakfast (buffet) was simple but nice.

We loved it there. The staff was wicked friendly and helpful. My son loved the pool and the wifi connection was decent enough. It is far from Bangkok but it was quiet and peaceful. The view from behind the hotel shows the stark reality that Thailand is still a developing country. I loved being awaken by rosters in the distance.

Lovely, friendly hotel. Genuinely helpful staff, especially with transfers after my husband arrived after midnight and his suitcase was lost. Room was simple and elegant...could have stayed longer. The Vismaya is a great choice for an airport hotel. Very efficient airport pickup, small but inviting pool, lots of choices on menu and for breakfast. This place is nothing like it's own portrayal. I'm sure at one point it was nice......NOT NOW! Location -near the airport, but not easily accessible to anywhere else. You have to walk almost a mile to get a taxi or get to a store. The staff is prohibited from calling a taxi for you, because the hotel has car service. This is a perfect spot to spend the night in order to be close to the airport for an early morning flight. They provide a shuttle service that takes about 10 minutes to the airport (at 80baht/person was a bit too expensive in my opinion but was convenient), the hotel has a nice pool, and an acceptable restaurant, but the area is a little bit dicey so no where to go and several dogs roaming around.

I've stayed here for a one nighter before a flight out of or just arrived in Bangkok. The staff here is excellent, polite and very helpful. There is a restaurant at the hotel or if you want to venture out the Paseo Mall is close by and has many things to offer. The hotel is quiet and close to the airport. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice place to decompress after arriving or leaving Thailand.

Very convenient if you have an early flight out of Suvarnabhumi airport. We take a shuttle (80 baht /person)and in just 5 minutes we arrive at the airport. If you are looking for somewhere to stay before an early morning flight at a decent price then you can't really go wrong with Vismaya.
