I rayed at coral reef hotel , the views are wonderful, the beach is clean and it's nice to watch the locals going about there business. The pool and grounds are kept very clean Sadly the food from the restaurant was not very good and caters for the Italians that stay in the hotel (pasta, pizza etc) the last meal I had gave me food poisoning for 5 days so ruined it for me. The rooms are basic and are in need of a lot of renovation. At the time I was there they were busy renovating some rooms, th... Read more

nice place to stay but masai boys come to the rooms with the tourist girls and are Always in the pool when the boss is not around and that is not good. they did not pay for the room and the swimming pool and disturb our privacy nice place when the boss is around, when he is not there, the local masai take advantage of the hotel so boss stay around your place all the time in the interest of yourself and the guests

My wife and I spent about 6 weeks in this resort. The initial impression was a good one, but after a few days we discovered the negative sides as well. The resort is rather poorly kept: the rooms and bathrooms could do with a general overhaul. The music is rather loud and disco-style the whole day, which does not help improve the overall atmosphere of the place. The buffet offers a limited number of dishes, which is not bad in itself, but when it becomes repetitive, then it becomes rather dull. ... Read more

My wife and I spent six weeks at this resort from middle of January to end of February. The resort has a family-like feeling since it is not large. It is well located directly oon the beach. The sea is nice, except for the tides, which means that you can only swim at certain times of the day since at low tide there is no water to swim in. The food is always a matter of taste, but if I had to classify the offer and quality from 1-5, I would give it a 2.5. Service is fine, but I would expect staff... Read more

Reading previous reviews you may be a bit unsure of this resort ‚?? don‚??t be! As other guest already confirmed we can tell as well, the service is great and the hotel to be recommended. The problem is that it seems the former manager made a bad job, but since the owners replaced him through Simone and his work it changed. The management was welcoming and very friendly. Simone was very caring all over our three nights stay. The staff is above Tansanian standard and very professional and always... Read more

We booked through airbnb, great success! They wanted to attract travellers from different places (the guests are mainly Italian and the management likewise) and priced it very reasonably. I hope they keep up the good work, together with the price. I'm not into chi-chi resorts and this is by no means a 5-star, but it's very attractive and well kept, the common areas are beautiful and peaceful. The bathrooms need to be renovated asap if they want to step up, as drainage and bathroom fixtures are o... Read more

We booked through air bnb at very short notice. We were travelling on a budget and this place was very cheap at £22 per night for a double room. We arrived to the incredibly grand reception area and were greeted with a delicious cold fruit juice and taken to our room. The room was spectacular for the price. Right on the beach, 3 room bungalow. The bedroom featured a large 4 poster bed, artistically made up with local flowers and was air conditioned - a real treat in this part of the worl... Read more
