I was extremely impressed with my recent stay at this Sheraton. Breakfast at the Executive Lounge includes a full buffet of both Chinese and western hot and cold foods, make to order omelette, fresh fruits and a variety of breads. Fresh fruits in our room daily. Service is top notch in all areas of the hotel from check-in/out, maid service to doormen. There are several restaurants in the hotel. All are well known and favorably patronized by the locals. Wifi router in every room so high spe... Read more

Better than the usual Sheraton. Hotel was quite pleasant, staff helpful, and of course spoke English. Room was above average, but not high-end. Breakfast buffet was big and quite good. Lounge was also quite good - pour your own.

I reserve this hotel as stay for meeting for more than ten times. It's great in location, near the Taipei train station, near the metro, and convention center, and near the best hospital in Taiwan, National Taiwan University Hospital

Great hotel and location. Room big. Very clean. Air con good. Cold room then turned off over night to stop noise. Room did not heat up much. Stayed conformable. Breakfast great. Food to suit everyone...whatever your nationality. I found it hard to be adventurous for breakfast and really appreciated a coffee and croissant. Staff very helpful. They explain very clearly how to get around. Lots of fruit and water available in room Location good and central. Right next to MRT station... Read more

Very good well appointed rooms with excellent polite efficient service. It's right on the main train line and 1 stop from the Taipei Central railway station. Staff are always happy to help and buffet breakfast was excellent.

My family had to scramble at the last minute for a hotel- booked the night before checkin through Hotels.com/Expedia. We needed something near a main MRT to make commuting to the Cardinal Tien hospital in Yonghe easy. My father was in the ICU there and showing no signs of recovery so we made the painful decision to remove him from life support. Per Taiwanese traditions, if there is a death in the family , you must isolate yourselves so we needed to move out of my Uncle's home. First off let me ... Read more

The hotel provides comfortable and quite rooms, nice bathrooms with a spacious shower, toilets with preheated seats, something to get used too. The restaurants do offer a huge variety of food, buffet is available as well. On the top floor a well equipped gym + wellness, especially for a hotel gym. The stuff is helpful and obviously well prepared for the typical questions of a "first time visitor". Overall: I am looking forward to come back.

Staff are very professional and guest room quality is excellent. I always like to come back to this hotel when I visit Taiwan. Especially I like bathroom. Wifi in the room is also quite fast and convenient.

It is a good hotel but overpriced. I stayed here for one night, and then a local friend introduced me to the Courtyard Taipei. I switched hotels and didnā??t regret it, as it is significantly cheaper, for the same grade of service. For to the good part. Rooms are well sized and 100% clean. Toilet has a state of the art TOTO bidet with hot water and warm toilet seat. Internet is free, and bandwidth okay. And the downside: Bed is on the hard side, and air-condition not stable.

If you want to stay at a hotel that only books tour groups, this is your place!! It is a fake Sheraton. A cruise ship is a good analogy. Filled with large groups of tourists having feeding frenzies over buffets. Everything is overpriced and the management could care less about the business or individual traveler. Frankly, after this place, I probably will not stay at a Sheraton again.

We selected this hotel becau the next day we needed to get on HSR, high speed rail. It's close to the train station. However, with Luggages, the locals still recommended us to take a cab. Only 3 min ride. Hotel staff was very friendly. View was nice, and room was clean with fancy washlet in the bathroom. The room size was pretty small. Not like US standards, they did not have any room with 2 double sized beds. We had to get the room with 2 single beds. The 2 beds were almost together, no room i... Read more

I had one nignt there in June 2016 for the first time. The overall expression of this hotel is perfect with standardized service, friendly staff, spacious lobby and guest room. As a breastfeeding mother, I had to request a adapter from hotel to make my pump work. The staff bought the adapter to my room promptly upon my call. The reception also reminded me that there was a caring room for new mom at B2.

This hotel offers bedrooms that are generally larger than the newer hotels. For it retained the original shell of the structure in the 80s and revamped it with a more modern look and feel. The restaurants offer some of the better meals in the Taipei gourmet scene and the location is handy for first time visitors who need the convenience in accessing public transportation, intercity trains and the metro system. The members lounge offers nice snacks and a good selection of fruit and alcoholic ... Read more

We stayed at an SPG floor, and with a platinum card, the breakfast was complimentary. This is the only hotel hotel that has seven (7) restaurants. French, Thai, pizza, deli, Chinese, and a buffet that serves all types of food. The rooms are spacious. And the amenities are as one expects of a 5-star hotel. Top floor gym and outdoor pool (smallish). Bonuses include stops for the airport bus and the metro rail (exit 2, Shandao Tempke) in front of the hotel. Grocery is with 2 blocks to the east. Go... Stayed here for business for 3 nights recently as my office is very close by. Safe part of Taipei and easy access to many attractions. Hotel itself is standard Sheraton quality but rooms looking a bit tired and could do with an update. Bed comfortable and room including bathroom was clean. Restaurant choices ok. Buffet breakfast reasonable selection quite Asian skewed. Thai restaurant on level 2 very good.

Stayed for three nights recently and as usual, the service and quality is as expected. Rooms are fine, maybe a little tired but well kept. Breakfast could be considered on the expensive side at expensive, but compared to the cost of a black double espresso at a third of the price, probably not to bad. There's a pizza pub down stairs which is a restaurant and the upstairs Lobby lounge has a bar also. Location is pretty good, just ten minutes from nearly everything including the 101 tower. Th... Stayed at the Sheraton grande for two nights. Great hotel, great and helpful staff. Clean rooms, comfortable bed, nice big shower. Great location and very accessible to the metro station. The airport shuttle bus drops you beside the hotel but oddly doesn't allow you to board the bus back to the airport??? Overall a great hotel. Would stay here again.

I have stayed in Sheraton Taipei a couple of times, and the service was always impeccable. The room is quite standard and comfortable, but the size of the bathroom is big, and I like it as I could relax after full day work. the location of the hotel is great too. walking distance to Taipei station, and a metro station is almost right next to the hotel. if not, taxi is easy to get. the helpful staff always tried to make sure the driver knew where I wanted to go.

This is my second time in this hotel, the other was 4 years ago and there was no problem, however this time I stayed longer and in two different opportunities and in both rooms the smell of mould was so intense that I could not sleep well. After the first night I complaint with the front desk and they improved a bit the smell condition, but in the second time which was much worse, I did not complain and I ended up with a terrible respiratory allergy to the point that I was not able to sleep.
