We have stayed in this hotel before, primarily because it is conveniently located to relatives' homes in Beitou. But I was not expecting to be exposed to the awful side of the hotel for the duration of my one week stay. We usually stay in a room facing the little park across the street, but this time we were given a room facing the dark underside of the hotel, the backs of what looked like tenements, Our view was laundry, rusted railings or cages with animals. It was worst than anything I've... Read more

Sweetme Hotspring Resort is situated very close to Xinbeitou MRT station and you'll find it easily. We paid $1050 for 60mins for a room with 2 baths - 1 for hot spring water and 1 for cold water. It was a very pleasant room and reminded me very much of the onsens in Japan, what with the washing area replete with shampoo, soap, wooden stool and wash basin. We thought 60mins might have been short at first, but as it turns out, that's more than plenty of time for a great soak. The concierge will d... Read more

I was there for one night. Nice Hotel and friendly staff. Onsen is very nice. The style is Japanese minimalistic. So I liked it very much. Beitou has a lot of Japanese sites... One thing was not so good: check in time was 16 o'clock. That's to late. I arrived at 12 o'clock and had a lot of time without room. Check out time is 12 o'clock. So I expect to get my room around 13 o'clock. Price is absolutely fair.

Decent hot spring hotel. Easy to find location on a main street very close to the MRT (only 2 min walk). We probably liked the location the best about this hotel because it was close to transport, thermal valley, night market, grocery store, restaurants, sites, etc. Staff was nice. Room was very spacious and comfortable. Loved the bedroom area. Large bed, seating area, fridge, kettle, desk, robes, closet, hot spring in bathroom, slippers, hair dryer, lock safe. Nice to have the hot spring water... Read more

We booked two nights here upon our arrival in Taiwan. The hotel had got our booking wrong and had reserved a tatami room, meaning we would have to sleep on the floor. This was not suitable for my elderly mother, or young children. After a lot of discussion they said we could have a room with a bed for one night only. We had to be very insistent before they finally agreed to provide a room with two double beds as booked. The room was very suitable and had a private spa. The outlook was onto t... Read more

Went for a 90 min cold and hot spring. I find that the cold tube is much smaller and unable to fit 2 person at a time. The room is very spacious overall,is just that the cold tube abit small compare to another hotel that I went.

The room is very clean and spacious. Staff are polite and helpful. They can arrange a room for guests with a nice view. Very close to train station. Room is quiet too and TV has many channels. Had a good sleep when staying there. Buffet breakfast has lots of choice and food is delicious. It's better if the bathroom has a door which can separate the toilet seat and bath tub so that water will not spray to the toilet seat area when taking a shower. Private hotspring is good and relaxing as the bat... Read more
