Of any place I have ever stayed, the breakfast buffet offering here is the absolute best. Eggs, bacon, sausage toast etc. but the Taiwanese food that keeps coming: all different braised and stewed vegs, fried tofu, plain and friend rice, noodles, soy milk and that tea machine! Finally tea drinkers having our day. The hotel room is very very basic. It's comfortable, clean but not luxurious by any means. Travel with someone you are very close with or the frosted glass to the bathroom can cause all... Read more

Exit 6 from Ximentin station straight walk for 5min. Good location! If book early can get a reasonable room rate. Satistify breakfast with many choose of coffee from the coffee machine, really good taste. Sure will come back again.

I went to TaiPei for a trip in 24th January 2016 and i choosed this hotel because of the comment from Trip Advisor. Guess what? It worked out pretty well. Let us move on to the location first. For those who never been to TaiPei before, this hotel is located in " Wu Chang Street Sec 2 Ximending" This is what you tell to the cab driver. The hotel is directly located above "TGI Fridays" Check in at the 7th Floor (There is 3 lifts, use the first & the second one from the left, the Third lift was not... Read more

This hotel is terrible. Heavy mold all 5 rooms shown to me. Carpets extremely smelly, many rooms without a window. No cupboard or any other place to put things, found dirt and hair in 2 rooms just by peeping into the bathroom. All windows are super thin and not isolated, so it's very loud. Completely non-helpful staff, even unfriendly at times. Booked this for a premium price months in advance. Arrived late in the evening and had a two hour hassle to get a room that doesn't at least slightly r... Read more

I booked Design Ximen Hotel but was surprised to note that it is located on the 7th floor aand the 6th floor is occupied by another hotel. Looks like each floor serves a different purpose. Not only was I surprised by its location, I was misled by its GPS location which directed me somewhere else. Another surprise was that it goes by another name: Go Sleep Hotel. Whatever, the room is bigger than most of the others that we stayed in Taiwan. Our room was stuffy even though we set the temperatur... Read more

It is a little difficult to find the hotel but the best way is to look for swiio hotel (you can try google map). Then after you find it take the left elevator. The room was small but quite nice and clean. There is a small fridge for you to use. The breakfast was ok but you have to go to another building. Then there are free tea and coffee available at the front counter 24 hours. Overall, it's a nice small budget hotel.
