It was one of the best places I have stayed in Taiwan. It's very close to MRT station, it's clean and reasonable priced. Great people and very friendly stuff! I would definitely recommend this place to everyone.

Nice people, helped us out a lot. Comfortable, good internet, nice food. Would recommend! It has a nice location, close to subway stations that will take you anywhere in the city. The hotel itself is clean.

We stayed there at mid-may, total of 3 nights. The location is great, there's a nice night market downstairs, it only takes 7minutes for us to walk to the metro station. The room is very clean, the bed is very comfy The fridge is very useful The only problem of this hotel is the room is small. If you bring a small luggage or backpack, it won't be a problem.

Manage to get a room with windows, which I can see the streets. Ups: - Clean and tidy - Relatively new - Room is vibrant - Most of the rooms are located on the 2nd level. Convenient. - Young and trendy hotel theme. Filled with history of Taiwan and it's landmark. - Staffs were friendly - Many different variety of stalls (food, barber, clothing) located at their door step. Not forgetting a night street market 50 meters away from the hotel. - 5 mins walk from the nearest MRT station and bus ... Read more

Very good, verging on excellent. A new hotel in ths style of Sakura in Tokyo if you know them. Very helpful, young staff. Well positioned in town for tourism, close to MRT. Room was fine for one or two people, with a range of amenities. Efficient shower room. Breakfast adequate but aimed firmly at Chinese tastes, not Western. Only two minutes away from one of Taipei's premier walking-street markets. Approximately £150 for a three night stay. Beware that when you check this hotel on internet si... Read more

Location wise it is ok. 10 minutes walk to the metro and then a short ride to wherever you need to go. Room was small but ok. Everything worked well. Breakfast was quite comprehensive and with a nice mix of local and foreign options. Staff weed good at giving directions to get to things and were very accommodating of things. Definitely somewhere we would go back to if travelling to taipei again.

Front desk is very polite and helpful, always greet you when it's not busy. Room is clean and spacy (just have 3 luggage, more might cramped). Bathroom is also great. Breakfast is better if you're early, more to choose. There's laundry on 1F, you can buy detergent from front desk (wish they have the vending machine, save the hassle of back-and-forth). Housekeeping on the other hand, needs more people. There are one time when room are still in mess and also garbage still left in room, uncollected... Read more

Service staff are always the gems with a smiling face and greeting whenever you return after a long day of sightseeing. The rooms are fairly small but very clean - not a good choice if you have big luggages. Self service laundry and morning breakfast are conveniences albeit no frills. Location is within a brisk 5-10 min walk to Shuanglian MRT with the Ningxia night market just next to the hotel block. The bus stops nearby are a bonus - we even used them to hike our way up to the Sunny Hills Taip... Read more

C U Hotel is located in the Dating neighborhood of Taipei, which is pretty central and has not undergone the type of modernization that makes all areas look alike. It has a very authentic feel of Taipei, it's a neighborhood where people actually live. I felt safe walking here, even late at night. In fact, Ningxia Night Market is right next to the hotel. Also, a short block from the hotel, there is an island in the middle of the street where many buses stop. For instance, one of them stops r... Read more

Just few minutes walk to the bus stops and train station. Right next to Ningxia night market cheap but yummy eats! Hotel is clean breakfast has ample choices (considering the amount you pay). Though dorm rooms are very small, shower facilities mostly out of order when i was there.

I stayed in the dorm-style rooms here and found that if this is what you are looking for, it is best to go for a straight hostel. The rooms were very small, so if you are in Taipei for a longer stay and have multiple pieces of luggage, it will be very cramped. The lower bunks have curtains, but only one of the beds has a curtain that goes all the way around, so if your roommate has their light on, you will still be able to see it. You can pay a deposit fee to get a key to lock the case behind ... Read more

upper bunks do not have curtains due to safety/evacuation, Suggested to the hotel to have eye shades ready for guests in the future, men's shower room and lavatories are clean, convenient location for transportation and food. expedia charged my credit card in advance even though I confirmed to pay at the hotel. watch out!!!!!

We love our stay at CU Hotel. Staffs are nice and very helpful. Our stay included breakfast buffet and free all-you-can-eat snacks daily from 6PM to 9PM. Breakfast was good and include very homey Taiwanese food. Snacks are very good too which include tea eggs and soda. I can eat both of those breakfast and snacks everyday. The facility also includes a laundry room which is very convenient. The best part of it is the location. It is just < 1 minute walk to Ningxia market and other good places. ... Read more

We have stayed before so knew what we were getting. Hotel is located above a set of small shops and around 10 minutes walk to the metro. Staff were great, helpful and accommodating and happily wrote Dow a few useful phrases I'm Taiwanese for us. Directions to places like the airport bus were readily available. Late at night it took about 40 minutes to get to the hotel by taxi and cost about 1100 Taiwan dollars. We got a street facing room this time which was bigger and quieter than last ti... Read more

They allow early checkins if possible. I desperately needed that as i was sick and landed at 6.30 am. The bathrooms are very clean and the beds are comfy. The rooms are small but decent. Right next to the night market. Good spot. great staff as well.
