This hotel is conveniently located close to all the attractions downtown that you can access via the MRT (Taipei Metro). From the MRT, Exit #M6 brings you to the direct elevator entry to the hotel. The ground floor of the hotel has several restaurants and services.. The breakfast buffet was sumptuous and lots of choices. Gym is pretty basic with a sauna. The room was adequate enough to recharge at the end of a day.

This hotel is extremely well located for transport connections and shopping. Located across the road from Taipei main rail station, for both MTR and HSR. It's not easy to cross the road from the station exit, best to take exit M6 from the station which takes you almost to the hotel lobby. It is also located next to the Mitsukoshi department store and a Muji store, both worth a visit. There are a lot of eateries in the area both at street level and underground next to the station. Coming from a big family consisting of senior citizens, teenagers, toddlers and middle aged adults, it took me forever and a day to find a hotel that would suit our individual needs. We had to find one that was near food, transportation and recreation. Caesar Park Taipei proved to be a very good choice! Right in front of Taipei Main Station where all the trains and buses are, with 2 floors of restos, and a hotel access to the station; stone's throw away from Mitsukoshi; near Ximen; Tim Ho Wan ri... This hotel is ideally located a it is right outside the main Taipei train station. The hotel itself is clean and comfortable the suites are very well equipped. The Checkers buffet restaurant is good with a wide selection of different foods. This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel, which says a lot.

Its location is one of the major selling point, just opposite to Taipei Station and an entrance to MRT station is just downstairs. The room we stayed was supposed for 4 guests with two big beds. Though spacious, hygienic condition isn't up to satisfactory condition. Bedding, toilet seats and chair are found dirts. Besides, some cartoon stickers probably by previous junior guests were not spotted and removed, giving an impression of hotel staff of not care of room cleanliness.

Excellent accommodation, most of everything you need is provided for you. The rooms are clean and well maintained despite supposedly being "old" it does not feel dated at all. English is always a challenge as is anywhere in Taiwan, the location is one of the best as the main MRT station is just across the street.

This Hotel offers a great location, on MRT Blue line 6, connected directly by elevator on the underground. Near to Malls and Central Train Station. It's looks like a safety neighborhood... in my point of view. About the Hotel... it's not a 5 or 4 star, maybe 3 star. There are no swimming pool, the Gym are small and the rooms are old fashion and a little degraded, specially in the bathroom. The ammenities are enough and replaced every day. A good suprise was the breakfast, with a good variety of ... Read more

No problem too as there are so many underground malls to keep you occupied for days! 2. Transportation is a breeze as the Metro Transport Centre to all plac... Read more

100 thumbs up for the excellent location! It is directly opposite the Taipei train station (which provides high speed rail, mrt and train services). It also has 2 lifts which link directly to the underground shopping area and to the subway. There are 3 decent restaurants next to the hotel (including Michelin standard's Tim Ho Wan) and very near to a famous shopping mall, i.e. Shinkong Mitsukoshi. The only thing is that the room we stayed is a little bit old. We read on the poster that th... Read more

Hotel connects directly to Taipei Metro. Very convenient and safe, despite it being in a busy area. Beside Shinkong Departmental store and lots of eateries. Travelled no more than 5 stops to various places of interests. Rooms were big and clean and usables were regularly replenished. WIFI connectivity once in a while but not a real bother. Good selection of TV channels

We stayed at this hotel during our recent Taiwan trip. The hotel is connected to the Taipei Main Metro Station. It provides rooms which comfortably accommodate families of fours. Prices are reasonable given its good location. However, do not expect too much of its room decor as hotel has been around for years. It has been average hotel experience for my family.

Our last hotel during a 1 week tour. The ambience is nice; conveniently located and within walking distance to shopping and eateries. The rate is reasonably. This 4 star hotel was welcomed on our last day of a tiring bus-cum-high speed train tour of major cities. I did not find any flaws. Perhaps we were too tired. Excellent location only a stone throw distant away from the central bus/train station which allows connection to HSR (High Speed Rail) and underground. There is an excellent selection of shops and restaurants within the station and underground networks of connecting wide tunnels. The rooms are basic, spacious and clean. The hotel staffs are courteous, efficient and friendly. A taxi ride from airport will cost you around NT1300-1400 and the journey will take around 40 minutes.

We booked this hotel just for its location - it is next to the railway station, which would save much transportation for my family. But we are more or less dissappointed by the facilities in the hotel. The room is small, the carpet is dirty, and the gym is too compact. It used to be a great hotel in Taipei history, but without up-to-date renovation, it has nothing else to attract visitors except the location.

The room we had was big but it was apparent that it needed an renovation soon. It was very clean thought but the age of the hotel was showing. In terms of location, this hotel is a winner being right across Taipei Main Station (the building was our view) and with a lot of options nearby. What I was so scared about after reading through many reviews was that Taipei hotels could possibly be windowless and on top of that, they are not soundproofed. Wanting to be close to the Taipei main station, I read many reviews here, and followed the advice of booking a metro room, and did not regret it. It was a modern room although the wallpaper already has some signs of ageing. The room has windows, and it was quiet. We could rest and sleep comfortably. With that, our first stay in Taiwan s... The best thing about the hotel is its location - right by the train station and on two major MTR lines too. That's not to say the hotel itself has any problems - it's a nice modern place to stay and I'd come back again. The immediate area bustles with little places to eat and explore too.
