The modern d├ęcor of this hotel makes it an interesting place to stay. Whilst my room had a window which opened which was good, I did not have any view apart from a concrete wall. This did not detract from my stay. Breakfast was average and the same menu two mornings in a row. Hotel clean and comfortable. Close to railway station.

Not much to complain about with this place. It's new, the facilities are nice, the location is excellent, the staff is friendly.... A great option. Lobby looks very nice, and the rooms are large and nicely made. Very clean. I appreciated the real shower versus the showerhead that sprays everywhere like in some Taiwan hotels. Decor is a bit quirky but fun. Downsides were some street noise, and I had noisy neighbors. Breakfast is just OK. If you were fine with cheap canned meats you will l... Read more

We stayed for 5 nights in the family room for 4. It is a 7th storey building and our room is on the 7th floor. Location of the hotel is good, very near to Taichung Railway station. Room is clean and decent for the pricing. The room even come with a bath tub! Our booking come with breakfast which is served in the B2 of the building. The set breakfast is almost the same daily and it come with a buffet table which serve taiwanese style porridge, bread, salads and fruits. We love the warm soya bean... Read more

I actually double booked my hotel on this trip, Reloading was the second one I booked. (I don't remember coming across this hotel when i booked the first?) Anyway I like this hotel, it makes you feel warm and cosy. Location is good, not only near but a straight direction to the railway station and to bus stop where you can take buses to Yi Zhong and Feng Jia. I was on the 6th floor, room size was good for two persons. There was a sliding window but without lock and grille, poor safety and secu... Read more

Reloading hotel is a modern hotel. It's clean and located to main station. It is a great stop with friendly staff with excellent travelling advice. Sunny Lai, General Affairs Supervisor was friendly and down to earth. The hotel is close to small local shops and a great place to pick up all your cakes and biscuits. It doesn't have all the facilities of a 5 star hotel, so not so good for business travellers. But excellent for solo, and family travellers. It has an excellent family feel. Breakfas... Read more

While the bus network in Taichung is relatively well-planned, for first timers, it is best to stay near the train station. Not only it is more straightforward in making journey plans, one can also avoid traffic delays in case there's a train to catch. There are definitely better and fancier hotels in the west district but for your first visit, Reloading is not a bad choice. Pros: Location is its strongest point, it's only a ten-minute walk. There are hotels that are closer to the train station... Read more
