This is the second time I`ve been here, what a great hotel!! The service is excellent, the staff are courteous, friendly and efficient. Most people I encountered in the hotel had at least some English, with the higher ranked staff having a good command of the language. The rooms are a mix of modern and traditional, which in my estimation, is just right. I have a wooden door and cupboards, yet USB charging ports and modern ironing facilties. The bed was spacious and comfortable and afforded a goo... Read more

The hotel is located about 15 mins walk to the nearest MRT station and about 25 mins walk from the famous Liuhe night market. We spend the Christmas vacation with the extended family in this hotel for 4 nights. The bell staffs were temporary not available when we arrived, no big problem given the light luggage we had. But they are right at the door at most of the time. We have booked 4 rooms in two bookings and they are so nice to group us together. The room is spacious and clean with moder... Read more

This is a well-run, full-service hotel with all the mod cons but its most outstanding aspect is the service: the management cares deeply about the guests and does its utmost to ensure they have a good experience. We stayed in an executive (Rosewood Club) room on the 21st floor, which was spacious and comfortable with a nice king-size bed and a large, well-appointed bathroom. We enjoyed the breakfast on the 5th floor, which has a good selection of Asian and Western dishes, but didnâ??t try the br... Read more

It was a very convenient location for us to conduct our business in Kaohsiung. Therefore we booked a 14 night long stay stay in a Rosewood Deluxe Suite which was spacious and comfortable and included a very special delicious breakfast in the VIP Lounge on the 30th floor with an excellent view. We really enjoyed our breakfast there every morning. The hotel stated in the reservation confirmation that it complies with Government's anti-smoking law and all rooms are non-smoking in the hotel. I enjoyed very much the wonderful breakfast in the 5th Floor and the special service from all the staff: to mention Vicky, with whom I had more contact. Altough I could have my breakfast in the 30th Floor, I booked executive double room, I didn't use this possibility, because I wasn't satisfied with this service. In my breakfast time, I must have my honey and I didn't find it on buffet in the 5th Floor: I asked from it and every morning, the staff, provided me it.I tried the saturday at 7am( 17dec... Rooms were good, breakfast was vast and had everything, 26th floor was quiet, comfortable bed, places/stores/markets to walk to, elevators were slow for about an hour each morning, but it was priced well, Taxis easy to get.

We stayed at the Howard for a special International convention of Jehovah's Witnesses. It was our first time in Taiwan. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The room was comfortable and the bed was so easy to sleep in. The staff above all else was EXCEPTIONAL. They were extremely attentive to our our needs and comfort. The Breakfast each morning was so delicious and we LOVED the coffee, espresso and latté maker. For 1 year we anticipated our visit to join in united association with our internati... Read more

My husband and I checked in at Club room and I thought foods and drinks are free at Club Lounge just like other hotels. However everything was charged except some cookies. Very limited choice of breakfast selection so I had breakfast on 5/F restaurant which a bit of noisy from kids. No doubt, breakfast on 5/F were much better. Gym and swimming pool open at 7am and too late for business traveler to work out before going to work and breakfast.

when I checked in, it took reception a long time to find my booking. When they found it, they told me to go to VIP reception which is a special room around the corner. To me, all the fuzz is simply stupid. I'm only here for one night for business. All I wanted was quick check in and out. Other than that, it's a standard business hotel next to big shopping mall. Not sure if it worth the price. Probably will not stay again.

My first impression of the hotel was not so good. We checked in around 9:30 in the evening. The lobby was dark, empty and didn't look inviting at all. The room was spacious but showed signs of aging. Bathroom was pretty spacious too but the show stall was a little small though still adequate. The beds were comfortable, however there was only one pillow for each bed (we had a room with two single beds) and the pillow was too soft for me. I typically see two to four different pillows in this class... Read more
