We stayed just the one night in May. Firstly, Roman checked us in early as a room was available, which was greatly appreciated. We also inquired about a late check out but Roman informed us that they had a shower room available for use at no charge. This was perfect as we were catching a long haul flight late at night. In fact he gave us a cup of tea whilst we waited for each other. Baggage storage is also secure. We just stayed two nights at the Bristol Hotel in Zurich. Very good value for money in expensive Zurich and great location close to the main train station and the old town. Reception staff was extremely accommodating and the included breakfast was much more than adequate with good variety. Room was adequate but lacked mini-fridge. Recommended for frugal travelers in an expensive city like Zurich.

We had a very interesting corner attic room, with angled ceilings and an unusually-shaped bathroom. The room decoration and faciities were first class. The hotel staff were unfailingly welcoming and helpful, and made useful suggestions an evening meal, both a restaurant and recommended Swiss dishes. It wasa very enjoyable stay and we would certainly stay there agin if we went to Zurich,

This hotel is situated very close to the main area in the city. 5 mins walk to the SBB station. Located near all the clubs/ pubs and best food places. Rooms are big enough as compared to other hotels at this price. Breakfast spread was very small. Nice staff at the reception to help you with everything.

Hotels is very clean! Friendly staff. Comfortable bed. Breakfast is very simple, not rich, but quality products. Room we were small. Good sound insulation, do not hear extraneous noise. Conveniently located in the city center and near the train station. All within walking distance. It seemed that the price is too high for the room.

The hotel is located about a 7 minute walk from the very busy Zurich train station. The hotel was in a nice neighborhood. The front desk staff was very pleasant and helpful. We had reserved a superior room and there was a little confusion at check-in, but it was quickly resolved. I had not stayed at Hotel Bristol before. We went there via train from the airport and by foot from the Train Station (so a close walk). Beatrice - Receptionist is a stand out. Lovely person and so very helpful. There had been a credit card glitch and we had solved that the day before my arrival. A standout person! We had a comfortable stay at Bristol Hotel. Not a single negative thing that I can think of. The hotel is centrally located, the breakfast spread is the standard - cold cuts, cereal, juice and fruits, the service is warm and prompt and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Will recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Zurich.

We visited Zurich earlier this year and found this hotel to be very central. The staff were very helpful. If possible try to avoid the top floor rooms that come with an 'attic' ceiling ... may feel slightly claustrophobic

A very nice hotel with clean, comfortable beds & nice breakfasts. This is an ideal location with a 10 minute walk from the station & 5 minutes from the city & old town. Reception staff were very friendly & accommodating. We had an issue with our faulty TV and the Manager: Martin was excellent, making changes and adding some extras to make up for the inconvenience. Hightly recommended.

We stayed 3 nights (October 29th, 30th, 31st, 2016). Location: perfect. A few steps from the main train station. It's centrally located but the street it's on is quiet. All the bars and late night places are at the other end of the street the hotel is on. To me, that's perfect. It's quiet but it's 1 min walk to all the bars and restaurants. Room: simple, nothing fancy. Clean. Staff: AMAZING. Mr. Häni checked us in and he was extremely pleasant. This was our first time in Zurich and he made us... Read more

It's a short walk to the trams, and railway station, and city centre. People here are friendly. The only thing to note, if you are travelling as a couple, is to state so, it costs more (not like Asia). The breakfast is part of the room rent, and can be commended for it's wide European spread! Good job guys!

Bristol hotel was a perfect place for me to stay four nights in Nov, 2016 ?? very close to the railway station which also is a social and shopping centre. The rooms were clean and the ??continental?? breakfast was a lot better than what I had at some other places. I??d say that the room charges were very reasonable considering the hotel??s location. The street is very quiet and at the same time very near to all the fun places. It was missing an electric tea kettle in the room which... Read more

A very convenient and relaxing hotel that is near the Central Zurich train station and numerous restaurants. The hotel staff is very friendly and even calls you by name on the second day. The breakfast spread is simple but appetising and filling.

The room I was given unfortunately had 2 walls of the lift shaft as its walls. The lift was old and noisy and whenever the lift went up or down it was noisy in the room. If given another room I would have had a much better stay. The hotel is in a good location close to trains and trams. Being in the old town there was lots to see and all within walking distance. Plenty of food available for breakfast.

Stayed at this hotel quite a while back and thought to add some comments, hotel is just walking distance to the mail railway station and to the old town. Location is just perfect for those you travel for pleasure. Staff is helpful. Breakfasts is average. I had a single room and the bed was way too small as well as the room.not really sure how the double rooms are though.

Close to the main station and the old town, clean rooms, very helpful staff, breakfast included. And all of this in a very reasonable price. Small issues with Wi-Fi, but in general it was working fine.

If location is what you are looking for, then this hotel is probably the best. It is about 500m from Zurich HB and close to the city sights. Room: The rooms are compact. We stayed in a family room which did not have enough space for the suitcases. We were having to constantly pack and unpack our suitcases. The bathroom was spacious and nice. Food: Food was nothing to write home about. Standard breakfast options like breads, fruits and cold cuts. Nothing hot/freshly made like eggs, sausages, so... Read more
