Five minutes walk, or one bus stop, from Davos Dorf railway station, the Parsenn is ideally situated opposite the Parsennbahn ski train. It is a very friendly hotel which has been in the Fopp family for several generations and is best suited for independent travellers. Good food and very comfortable rooms (well furnished with a good number of good quality coat hangers, something which many hotels lack!). Its bar is popular with locals and visitors alike, particularly as an apres-ski rendezvous. ... Read more

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place, we were made to feel welcome as soon as we stepped through the door. The whole experience was similar to that of a large Chalet - hot soup provided in the communal lounge at 4pm was a nice touch, and the continental breakfast was as good as you'd get anywhere. Hotel Parsenn is incredibly convenient for the main Parsennbahn, and for the train station and buses and local amenities in Davos Dorf. We go back whenever we can. The Fopp family are welcoming and helpful and we love staying in this hotel. Recommend it very highly indeed!

And again we enjoyed a wonderful long weekend in March in this lovely family-owned hotel. Hans & Martina Fopp together with their uber-friendly staff really make you feel more than welcome and at home! Rooms are spacious with perfect beds and bathroom, breakfast is elaborate and we enjoyed all our 3 nights dining in the restaurant. The menu consists of local specialties, and a wide variety of (local) wines is available at affordable prices. Hans Fopp prepares great dishes with his gueridon! Th... Read more
