We stayed at the Sheraton Stockholm for three nights in May and really enjoyed the hotel. Our room was much larger than the rooms that we had in other European cities during our trip. The bar in the lobby was a great place to grab a couple of drinks and we really enjoyed talking with the bartenders, particularly Mark. Breakfast was excellent and there was a wide variety of options (including vegetarian options!). The club lounge was very small so there is a good chance that you won't find a plac... Read more

This hotel was very centrally located to shopping, old town and many other attractions. The Vasa Museum is about a 30 minute walk. Views from the room were beautiful. The Ice Bar is around the corner. Be prepared to have transportation to and from the hotel cost a good bit. For solo travelers, take the train in (there's a station a block away) from the airport. For 2+ people traveling, it's probably cheaper to take a cab. We paid $45 for a cab from the port from our cruise (the only option), an... Read more

This hotel has a great location, walking distance from the main tourist attractions, the main train and bus stations (connects to ARN airport in 30-40 mins). Rooms are very comfortable, great food, professional and friendly service. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is traveling to Stockholm for a short stay, specially, given the short distances to places.

I spent 5 days in Stockholm. The hotel is very well located. I was in a club room. The room was according to expectations and with a great view. Breakfast was very good. The best was the staff always walking the extra mile trying to help you. I had a problem at 9pm in my room and is was solved promptly and in a satisfactory way.

I stayed here while traveling with 2 friends. The hotel is conveniently located near old town and central station. it was a great location for seeing the major sites. The room was nice and the beds very comfortable. Also the service was excellent and the lounge was nice - good spread for breakfast and the happy hour had a surprising variety of drink options.

I was at top floor with queen bed. But the bed is a little bit tight for two(I think it's actually double bed) we switched to king size at room 606 the next day. Even without balcony, the room is larger and with great view. Awesome. The location is 5 mins walk to central station. That's center to everything. Express to airport within 20 mins. One another good thing is the breakfast. You have many selections and they are fresh and tasty.

The Sheraton offers reasonably large rooms for families in a great location within short walking distance of Gamla Stan, City Hall, the Royal Palace, and several other highlights in Stockholm. Great breakfast buffet was included in the price of our rooms. The staff are friendly and helpful. A cafe is also located onsite.

The location is a little bit outside everything and there is heavy traffic all around the hotel. Checking in is always a test of patience, especially when you do not have a membership on a high level. The service in the reception is also in general low-grade, I did not get the room I had paid, I got an excuse however, no price reduction and thatâ??s unbelievable. The rooms are nice and clean, unfortunately a little bit old fashion. The breakfast is nice and not to crowded either. There is many b... Read more

Room 123; Right next to traffic light below, so some noise in the morning. That's my worst criticism. They let me check in at 8am. The beds were super comfy, the room clean, the staff nice. Situated between the central train station and Old Town, we walked almost everywhere. Computers and a printer in the lobby for free came in handy. Did a cash and points stay, very reasonable. We stayed here after a cruise. Location is perfect for walking into the old town (5min) and the views of the river and old town are great. Check in was swamped with cruise guests, but the staff stepped it up and provided great service. They are sincerely interested in being helpful, and Janny at the front desk bent over backwards to be accommodating. All in all, a really nice place to stay with reliable Sheraton accommodations and an above average staff/service. Thumbs up.

The hotel uses a (slightly) chilled water system to cool rooms - I know because when the technician came to check on the AC (I had complained that it wasn't working), I saw the guts of the system and discussed it with him. It's similar to a "Swamp Cooler" used in the Southwest US, except forcing c... Read more

We were just happy to see our hotel after a relatively long day, and the staff made us feel welcome as soon as we walked in. Check in was prompt, efficient. Rooms are spacious. We had a cool experience, watching the UEFA Cup final in the bar with a passionate crowd while eating (what else?) Swedish Meatballs. Service was great, and actually reasonably priced. Good wine selection. Breakfast was great also. Need your card to get the elevator to operate. Balky sometimes, but, be patient, it will wo... Read more

Location is right by the bridge leading to the historic section of the city; staff is super friendly, large rooms, comfortable bed; it was a nice touch to receive a bottle of sparkling wine and a fruits platter upon arrival. Not sure if they do it for everybody or only for more expensive rooms, nonetheless it was pleasant. The only reason why it is a 4 is that it is a bit dated.

The location is good, but the property is quite run down and the rooms are average. We had stayed in this property over 5 years back and the rooms had a good feel to it. Even though they knew we were three in the room, they made the extra bed after we moved in- not a big deal but when you are tired after an overnight flight, everything matters!

Normal five star business hotel (holidaymakers also stay there) with excellent location just across the Parliament, Royal Castle, Nobel Prize giving Townhall and central train station. Quality of rooms vary significantly but overall it is a comfortable venue with good beds, spotless sheets and a good lobby bar. Stayed there a few times in 2016.

My first visit did not disappoint. The location across the bridge from Old Town and not far to Museums and the Ice Bar make this place a no brainier. Friendly staff, good Ac And very comfortable rooms. Don't miss the Vassa Museum down the road.

We spend 5 nights in this place. Location is great and close to everything. The interior is a bit old. Club lounge room is currently redone but they shifted the lounge to the conference floor for the time of renovation. Staff at check in was very friendly and helpful

Lovely hotel, great location. The staff is what made the place. Hotel was nicely appointed but AC was not as effective as we needed it to be. Bathroom had some glitches (no plugs, TP holder kept breaking) but the desk staff, bellmen and wait staff were SO nice and helpful. Have great advice and made you feel so welcome. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

Sheraton Stockholm seems to be a transit point for the big cruise ships and as such had a very high occupancy rate when we visited at the end of July. Also, cruise guests appear to stay only one or two nights - consequently the check-in/check-out queues can build up. The reception staff dealt with this well although more desks could perhaps have been opened at times. We never waited more than ten minutes to get to speak to someone when we needed to. Likewise, breakfast can be pretty rammed wi... Read more

Great location, close to Old Town, shopping and central station where you can catch the train or bus to the airport. The service is beyond excellent. The rooms are clean and considered big for the area. Did I say it was close to everything. You will be happy you picked this one.

We have stayed two nights in this hotel : reception:we had to queu for a long line; rooms were large and confortable; bathroom : the shower soil was slippery and the brush for the w.c was missing. The towels were changed every day even if hanged but we found the used towels were abandoned over my luggage. We had a dinner in the restaurant: i ordered a peasoup which was ok but i would have preferred a simple soup without pieces of smoked ham. The tartar steak was good and tasty. Everything very e... This Sheraton is exactly what an SPG hotel would be (at least in my mind). It's modern and sophisticated. It's got a well-equipped gym with massage room and sauna. It offers breakfast buffet which if you reserve in advance/or upon checking in - you get a 30% discount. And it is centrally located. So yea you won't get disappointed if you're a regular SPG guest. P/S The highlight of our stay was probably the surprising "visit" of FC Barcelona. We had no idea they were staying in the same hotel a... Read more

Central Hotel within easy walking distance of amenites shops and restaurants, you need to watch your personal belongings as there are unusual characters just milling about which in my opinion is a security issue. The railway station is close by and the Cruise terminal is approx15 minutes away by cab.

This was definitely our favorite hotel on our 3-week Scandinavia tour. The room was large with comfortable bed, mini-bar, in-room-safe, spacious closet space, and a nice bathroom. The buffet breakfast offered a wide selection of food, pastries/bread, and juices. The A/C was better than most we have experienced in Europe which was nice as the hotel is near the trains tracks which can be a little noisy if you leave the room windows open. The location is within walking distance to most major at... Read more

This hotel has an excellent location for those who want to explore Stockholm by foot. I am pleased with the way check in/out was handled by the very competent desk staff. The room we chose has no view, but is huge compared to other five stars hotels I am used to. So is the gigantic bed: soft, crisp, white sheets with a light duvet, enormous pillows. The room is clean and has a nice neutral smell. The bathroom with only a shower is modern an well equipped. The air-conditionning system is silent a... Read more

Breakfast: 8/10 not many food options but still a good breakfast. Location: 10/10 excellent location near the old town and the shopping area, the hotel is also facing the lake which gives some rooms a nice view. We were very disappointed by the breakfast buffet. only took it on the firts morning then we went to the Espresso Café which id located un the hotel too. Sheraton Hotel Stockholm is very well located in the city. In the back is the main shopping area with amazing boutiques and shopping malls. Toward the front is the old town where one can walk and enjoy dinning and Swedish souvenirs. The hotel is generally good with comparable big rooms and comfortable beds and serves good breakfast besides room service dinning. The bellows were so soft I needed to use three!! The staff are nice and fast.

We picked this hotel on booking based upon its reviews and it deserves them. Every cab drivers know The hotel, centrally located near The City Hall. There is a bar in The lobby, a good restaurant and also a coffee House if you décline breakfast deal. The beds are comfortable. The room is large enough and can welcome a bed for One teen-ager. The TV set is big and T Centralen Metro station is 5mn away. A good spot for enjoying Stockholm.

This is a lovely hotel typical of what you will expect from Sheraton. Slightly dated decor with the usual in house room facilities. Beds and pillows were extremely comfortable, room service efficient with decent Swedish food. We stayed at the Sheraton Stockholm over July-August 2016. A very well located hotel with many rooms. It was clean and well maintained. The lady concierge was more enthusiastic than the Head Concierge. Our room service and bar dinner experiences were very good. Stayed 2 nights over the weekend. Was glad to receive a room upgrade at checkin based on my SPG Platinum status. Also received a welcome gift to the room after checkin, which was a nice gesture.
