Avoid staying here. A soulless hotel with often cold service and major issues. Room 916 was given to me on a business trip. It overlooks the outside bar and the music from the bar comes through the floor and window with a constant thump, thump. The bar shuts at 1am and the music continues till then I asked to be moved, but said that at my price band the only thing I could be offered was a cabin room which is very small and no windows! The bed is comfortable though. Shower dribbles out of the sho... Read more

Newly opened hotel which is opposite station, next to T bana and ideally located for getting around Stockholm. Stayed here for 3 nights in a twin room. The room was very clean but also very small. There was nowhere to put luggage, no drawers for clothes and only one chair in the room. There were no tea /coffee facilities in the room either. Breakfast buffet is extensive and of good quality. Staff are welcoming and helpful. Beds are extremely comfortable. Expensive stay for such a small room but ... Read more

This location has been open for just a couple months and it shows. Got an excellent - upgraded - room on the top floor. The room has great views over the city. The breakfast was slightly better that Scandic hotels normally have. Restaurant was maybe 1/4 full and you would expect fairly snappy delivery of food, but alas both starter (kale risotto) and the main (cauliflower cod) took painfully long. Maybe it was worth the wait given that dinner when it comes to the dishes was great, one could ven... Read more

The hotel service was typical Scandic; 2nf floor membership doesn't differ from normal guest other than a few small vouchers. But good things started to happen when entering the room. It was slightly bigger and brighter than other Scandics in city center. And the roof top bar is splendid; on a nice summer day it was packed of relaxed guests and citi people. Highly recommended!!

We spent 3days in Scandic Continental Hotel. The location is great, just across the Central Train and Bus Stations. so it is very easy to arrive Arlanda Airport. Sightseeing bus stop was a few minutes by walking. You may arrive in 5 minutes for good shopping alternatives. Hotel was renovated, and clean. There was no minibar and tea-coffee machine in our room. And there was no locker for dressings. There were other choices as hangers and apparatus on the wall. Bathroom was fine and big enough... Read more

Stayed here for the long Bank Holiday weekend. I booked a standard twin room and was travelling with friends. The room was clean and modern. The bed was comfortable with a number of different sized pillows. It had useful information in the room about what to do in Stockholm. Also, they had no tissues anywhere (!!??!!) and no mini bar: no place for us to store baby food. We gave it to the bar at reception. Very nice hotel in a perfect location: close to both the train station and the Gamla Stan. Very nice design. I liked the room. I was first a bit disappointed since there were no windows, but after experiencing the sunny Swedish nights I was actually happy for that. The breakfast is OK, with a good selection of food. As a native of Stockholm, I decided to spend a night at this newly built hotel. There was an old hotel at the same location Before, with the same name, but they have completely built a new building, which will also serve as the new main entrance to Stockholm Central Train Station. Great condition on the room, awesome atmosphere. And the breakfast, on of the best ones I¬īve ever had. The staff were so heplful, giving me extra wineglasses. We will definitely come back.

Stayed there only for one night. The location is perfect, in particular if you travel by train. The breakfast buffet offers a great variety of morning starters. Maybe you also want to go to the restaurant terrace on the 8th floor? Well, a glass of wine there is surely great. But the view from the sundeck on the 11th floor is even better. Rooms are a little bit noisy, but OK if you are in the right edge of the building.

Great location within walking distance from many great spots (15 to 20 min walk to the Old Town - Nobel Museum). Subway is literally next to the hotel. Central Station across the street. Friendly staff. Very good room - very comfortable bed and pillows (not a lot of space, but very functional design). Roof top bar is very cool at night. The breakfast buffet is excellent and, amazingly, stays open until 1 pm!

I stayed here over the last weekend - the hotel is very central. There are several Scandic hotels in town in close proximity to each other -so one must specify this is the Scandic Continental. It is bang opposite the Central Station and a 10 min walk from the Flygbussarna (the airport bus into town)central city terminus. The busy stop of Hop on Hop off tours is a few minutes away and a McDonalds ( which also has good vegetarian burgers) is next door . The hotel is very modern, eco friendly, energy saving at almost all necessary points. Different form the other Scandic in Stockholm I ve stayed in in July this year too. Bathrooms in the room are very clean, so are the rooms. I think there are no issues of rooms without windows. Rooms are well done, big enough, I stayed in the Twin superior plus room which usually sells well in summer. The one thing that strikes me about the hotel is that is takes its guests seriously. Stayed at the Scandic Continental for three nights. One positive aspect about this hotel is the location - opposite the central railway station in Stockholm and within easy walking distance of shopping and sightseeing. We arrived about an hour prior to scheduled check-in and whilst the reception staff checked us in and asked for payment in full up front which I did, we were only then informed that our room was not ready and we should come back in an hour. Right across the central station and being close to nearly all sites, Scandic Continental definitely has the best location in town. Marvellous breakfast buffet! Quick and smooth check-in & check-out! Room clean and spacious. It will be even more perfect it there was a minibar and a coffee maker/machine in the room. Will stay here when in Stockholm.

Can't beat being across from the Central Station with access to the Arlanda Express, the hub of the subway system, and the regional rail. Lovely staff, nice rooms, AMAZING breakfast buffet (from 7AM to 1PM I think so take advantage of it!), nice coffee bar, nice bar with a good fika on the 8th floor. Staff was great, helped us get cabs and were generally super friendly.

I stayed here one night only. The hotel is brand new, very clean, modern and neat. It's right next to the train station, so I just got off the train and walked to the hotel. The room was good but very small and weird thing there was no window. Also there was no tv remote control in the room and it took them forever to get it. I had to call the reception 4 times.

This is quite a newly built hotel located near the central station and the subway. The most you will remember for a stay here is all the beggars who are attacking you at the metro entrance each time you want to the hotel. It was very unpleasant. The hotel is basically on top of the station and you can look down on the escalators through large windows. The room was somewhat small and lacking as others described a wardrobe. However, it is new and fresh. There is a nice bar with a terrace overlooki... Read more

Took the elevator up to the eigth floor with my best friend on a Thursday night. There you will find a big bar with modern homly furniture. From the large rooftop terrace there is a fantastic view over Stockholm. We began with a glass of red on the terrace and moved indoors when the evening became too chilly. Continued with plate with a mix of 'everything' sitting in one of the cosy sofas. The music is good, the audience mixed and the place is a perfect platform for good conversations.
