I stayed at this hotel for two days. The location is a bit far from the city center but right in front of the hotel there is a bus-stop, the bus to the airport gets here too. The wifi is fast, room is well decorated, breakfast great and good staff. The only thing I didnt like was the shower curtain in the bathroom. The water from the shower got under the curtain and caused a very wet floor. Attention for that!

The breakfast was very good, many different thing to choose from. The staff was friendly and eager to please. The rooms we had don't invite for a longer stay, a little cold and used atmosphere. But clean they were.

The Hotel is a bit out of the main things to do in Stockholm but practicable by Metro. The reception staff and the restaurant is great and there is a very good restaurant (breakfast pancakes and marmalade are divine) The cleanliness of the room in general is correct but the pillows and comforter under the covers are filthy and smelly. Furthermore the quality of the bedding is to see: You can not sleep well with a mattress 5 cm.

There was large rooms with plenty of space and in an old building. Before it become a hotel it was an museum called the liquer museum and you´ve been reminded of that from the old pictures on the wall. The bace of the hotell is in the part of Stockholm called Vasastan and it is one of the best places in Stockholm i think. It was one thing that wasn´t so good and it was the parkinglot under the hotel, because it owns buy a company called q-park, and for two nights it cost us 640 swedish kronor,... Read more

Good value family rooms, spacious, very nice breakfast and informal restaurant. Nice service. Good beds. Nice location just out side the city center/down town, close to the lovely Haga park. Poor internet connection.

Good location on the city centre surroundings. Felt safe walking alone back to the hotel in the evening. Great breakfast, don't need to eat for a while after the breakfast. Also I liked the non-stop reception. I had a moderate room, which wasn't that fancy, but suitable for the meaning (the hotel booking was just for sleeping and to get something to eat in the morning). The bed was good though.

Lovely spacious hotel away from the busiest area of Stockholm but easily accessible. Great breakfast, lovely room and comfortable beds. The only downside was the floorboards are slightly creeky and can be heard in the adjacent rooms. I would recommend this hotel for a weekend away and would definitely stay here again.

I stayed at this hotel recently while on a business trip to Stockholm -- it was booked for me by my hosts. Let me start with the disclaimer that if left up to me I would have sprung for a nicer (a.k.a. more expensive) hotel. Based on the prices I'm seeing on Expedia, this is a pretty cheap hotel. That said, there are some easy fixes they can make at this hotel that would have made it a lot more comfortable. First, the good: This hotel was an old brewery, and is in an interesting historical bui... Read more

No closets. No shelfs to deposit shirts, underwear, etc. TV in the first room defect, Eveline refused even to touch it. Stayed at First Hotel Norrtull at the end of June for three nights on a business trip. This hotel unprovable the worst hotel I have stayed at in several years, especially due to poor reception and catering staff and inadequate facilities. The 'lobby' (front desk located in the middle of the bar) is dark and uninviting. I was given a ground floor room down a dingy corridor with a noisy footpath right outside the window and the elevator outside the front door. The room had no safe deposit box, no phone, no where to hang clothes, not a lot besides a bed and a chair. The chair came in handy though when I had to position right by the door to my room to get one bar of WiFi signal, otherwise there was no signal in the room. When I inqui... Read more

The hotel is very clean and the staff very nice. The hotel is located well, only 10 minutes away from the nearsest subway station. And there is a great variety of food available for breakfast, like traditional Swedish bread and pancakes. Though not all the facilities work well (we encountered a broken computer for instance), the staff is more than willing to help.

Impressive building (a matter of tase, for shure), proffesional and friendly staff, good confort, everything works, quiet location, good breakfast, Very usefull conection by bus to the city center. On the other side, the hotel needs some refurbishment. This explains the good price / comfort ratio, but for us, it was a good choice.

Arrived too early for check in. Asked for coffee. Even the bar closed, they managed to have a coffee from the reception. A lobby inviting you to study - customized decoration and atmosphere. It was very welcoming! Clean rooms, nice staff and rich breakfast. Neighborhoods showing welfare but quite personalized, seeming to me in northern style, appropriate for long evening walks with colleagues sharing the same temporary work.

Breakfast was served until 10.30. Then the guest should have full selection until 10.30. When we entered at 10.15 the bread buns were finished, with three guests waiting for refill. The heater for bacon and scrambled eggs was empty. There was refilling of the buffet but quite slowly. The scrambled eggs arrived just 2 minutes before closing time. This was not a one-time occasion. Overall: I would recommend to friends with older children as an affordable decent and clean place to stay in a city where luxury hotels are super-expensive. I wouldn't recommend with very young children as the safety lock was not working and the ease of ability to pop up onto the radiator and access the window (as shown in my photo of me finding my own 7yr old doing) would concern me too much. Positives: Good price Large, clean room Well situated Quiet location Near tube (5 min walk) Nice bar... Read more
