Proactive front desk service, who offered us a better room for little extra. Nicely surprised with the offerings in the dining area during the day (homemade raspberry pie) and delicious breakfast table. Rooms were clean, spacious and functional. Everything was above our expectation!

This is one of my favourite hotels in Stockholm. The location on a calm street on √?stermalm gives reasonable distances to about everything but very little disturbance from outside noice. The rooms are Clean and very nice, many of them with a balcony, and the beds very comfortable. In my opinion the hotel breakfast is above average, also a complementary evning meal is served during the evning. WiFi is free and stable. Worth to note is that it is a few steps up to the elevator and that there is on... Read more

This hotel has a lot of different types of rooms to choose from, from quite cheap to rather expensive, depending on the size, number of beds, luxury level etc. Most travelers will find a room that fits their requirements. Even though I was travelling on my own, I choose a room with two twin beds, because the solo rooms looked tiny. The rooms was just fine, nothing to complain about and nothing to rave about: clean, comfy bed, the very basics in the washroom/shower and plenty of room for two peo... Read more

I stayed in a separate building from the main hotel, which is inside an old apartment block around the corner. At first I was a bit sceptical about whether it would be as comfortable, but I needn't have worried. It was a lovely old building and the hotel, on one floor, was done very nicely in typically clean and simple Scandinavian style. Because of the setting, it felt more personal and homely which really added to my stay. I stayed in a single room overlooking the leafy central courtyard for ... Read more

I wrestled with giving this hotel 3 or 4 stars. There were aspects that bothered me and little to declare unique or superbly inviting, but in thinking on it, I realise that the things which grump me most were by my own doing, so 4 it is! By my own doing, I balked at the prices for hotels in Stockholm and so selected here a more basic double room. The room was ground floor, opened out to a courtyard and was very spacious. It also smelled of musty "thrift store." Opening the window helped air... Read more

A good breakfast doesn't make up for a very dirty and dusty room. Even after complaining, the cleaning did not improve. The furniture was dusty and dirty and the bathroom too. I haven't experienced such poor level of cleaning at a western hotel.

We were wonderfully welcomed when we arrived well before check in time. The desk attendant invited us to have a breakfast on them and let us check in early. Breakfasts here are amazing and wonderful! Our room was nicely appointed and very comfortable. It was clean. We had a third floor room above the front door. There was a little street noise during business hours, but no problems at night. We slept well. The TBana is nearby, and we easily walked the short distance with our bags. It wa... Read more

Stayed here for 3 nights. We had a room adapted for disabled guests on the ground floor - not sure if it was therefore bigger than normal, but clean, plenty of space, comfortable bed, and kettle in the room (good for Brits!). Great breakfast with plenty of choice, plus evening meal included - we had this on the first night. only one choice (lasagne that night), plus salad, cheese and biscuits - perfectly fine. This hotel is conveniently, but quietly located. It is warm and welcoming and the staff do a really good job in this respect. Our room was small, but attractive and well equippped (including kettle!) The breakfast was good. The evening meal / buffet was a little variable, so I wouldn't expect to rely upon it, but it was not bad - and it added to the great value which this hotel offered, given that it was included in the cost. There are some indications of wear here and there - but in a way thi... Read more

Stayed here for 4 nights in a superior double room at the front of the hotel. The room was very spacious and the bed extremely comfortable. It was very clean and well equipped. The breakfast was excellent and included plenty of choice and the evening meal was also good, although with less choice, but overall excellent value for money as eating out is very expensive in Stockholm. My wife and I stayed at the Hotel Wellington for 5 days before our cruise in May 2016. We were very happy with our room, the staff, and the food. The WiFi was very good. There is a small bar in the dining/lobby area for drinks in the evening. This hotel offered an included evening buffet style meal which was quite good and saved us a lot of money dining in an expensive city. My only complaint would be the size of the elevator which was quite small. When I say small I mean barely enough room eno... Read more

We had a great experience ‚?? definitely recommend! My husband, son (university student) and I stayed at the guest house building, around the corner from the main hotel, for 5 nights in early May. The guest house is situated in a classic older building and the rooms open up to a very pretty hall, parlor room and dining room - perhaps more like a bed and breakfast than hotel. Our room was in the annex building around the corner from the main hotel. The room was a nice size with private bath. It was lacking an electrical outlet in the bathroom. You accessed the hotel floor by an old fashioned lift with the iron folding gate which I got a kick out of. Breakfast was served in the annex building and was good. The reason we picked this hotel was because it was a decent price and offered TWO meals (breakfast and dinner). It is a bit farther from the Central station, we didn't rent a car and despite Google's estimate of 22 minute walk, it's really a 30 minute walk. Check-in was very easy, we had prepaid, and it was about 1pm and our room was ready so that was fantastic. The elevator is TINY, barely fit 2 of us and 2 suitcases, but better than the windy stairs. We selected the hotel for the weekend trip mainly for its location in Ostermalm. Kind of nice hotel but a bit undersized everywhere: in the elevator for 4 persons you cannot go with more than two.
