My husband and I visited the resort during March14-21. We were slightly hesitant about booking this place since we have not done a non all inclusive in about 20 years! We quite delighted and surprised! EVERYONE was SOO friendly and the staff was more than accommodating!! Some people complained about the stairs, but we are quite fit and active and found no problem with it, I suppose if one was slightly older or had a disability, then there are shuttles stops scattered throughout the resort to hel... The people were great and helpful. I would have rather had the accommodations closer to the beach...it was a big hike up to the room. The rooms were clean and nice. There are many restaurant choices on site and other restaurants close by to walk to. There is also a small grocery store on site and the units have full kitchens in many of them.

Twenty years ago (or more) when we bought our first time share at Simpson Bay Resort it was called 'Pelican'. The resort was quiet, the beach was untouched, the people were friendly and the sales team did not believe in a 'hard sell' approach. It was the perfect Carribean Hideaway. Apparently every timeshare goes through it's own internal woes and Simpson Bay Resort was no different. The Resort has grown , the maintenace has slowed down, maintence fees have skyrocketed, I see less smiling fac... Read more

I stayed at the Simpson Bay Resort & Marina recently and was a bit disappointed with the location and look and feel of the suite. It felt claustrophobic and had a weird smell on day one. The smell faded but the fact that the suites are back from the water and you can't open anywhere except your front door, makes you feel completely closed it. Suites are also dark and balcony is open access to all other residents so you cannot open your curtains to let the sunshine in or sit out side as there is ... Read more

We stayed here for 9 nights at the Simpson bay resorts and marina. We had a junior suite for the two of us, the rooms were very spacious and well enough equipped with shower over Bath twin sinks and kitchenette. We had two queen sized beds which were very comfortable. A small Balcony which overlooked the bay which was very interesting at certain times of the day, watching the boats roll in and out when the bridge opened. Daily maid service was included and very obliging. the bar in the hotel is... Read more

My friend and I both 26 stayed at this resort. It was nice, but I'm not really sure that I would stay here again. There wasn't really any other people our age there. The resort was definitely spread out but I didn't mind walking. The rooms were nice! However, we are big beach people and I was really disappointed with theirs. It was small and with the construction going on it was noisy! We ended up sitting in front of the buccaneer beach bar most days which you have to rent the chairs or order lu... Read more

The room we had was great. It was a small unit as we only stayed one night, but it has been cleaned up and redecorated in good taste. We enjoyed. The B pool needs some work or I would have given a 5 star rating.
