We got off to a bumpy start, however, everything worked out in the end. It was a very relaxing weekend, just what we wanted. Stayed on the property all day only went out for dinners. Since we live on the island, we will return for dinner as we have been told that their dinner restaurant is excellent. We would surely return.

Went to St Martin for work last week. Our whole group stayed at the Mercure Saint-Martin Marina and Spa. My room was large- two stories with two bathrooms. My room was on the top floor and I couldn't find an elevator so I had to drag my suitcase up two flights of stairs. Staff was very helpful and the grounds were really nice. The restaurant was on the Marina. The wait staff at the restaurant were lovely especially Tom. Food was fresh and healthy. My only other complaint is they lock the ... Read more

I spent 4 days there to kiteboard in the lagoon (at the B52 school next door). The hotel is clean and quiet, staff is kind and welcoming. Easy inside parking. I had a wonderful, large junior suite with view on the lagoon. Comfortable king bed, nice bay window, terrace, quiet and efficient AC. Meal is not grande cuisine but healthy and good quality, abundant (I was famished) and affordable: excellent complete breakfast, salads or main course for lunch. I had dinner twice when too exhausted to go ... Read more

I visit SXM once or twice a year and chose Mercure for the first time. All expectations have consistently been exceeded from reception to room comfort to all the service staff. I needed to get work done in the daytime, so the reliable internet was speedy and made work easy. The upkeep of the property exceeds what I've seen elsewhere in SXM. Check-out the comprehensive and reasonably priced wine list at the beach restaurant - I recommend the Sancerre.

Very good four star hotel - rennovated, neat, clean and accessible. The staff at the restaurant is very nice. The rooms are nicely cleaned everyday. The pool was not crowded and was clean. It is quite at night, which is perfect if you want to rest. The island is full of restaurants and bars, suitable for a night out. You have to pay eur 1 for beach towels change - if it's for asustainability cause, Id would support, but else do find it weird for a sea/pool resort. The lady at the spa was very ... Read more

We stayed for 3 nights. We ate dinner at Les Voiles. The food was great! The staff at Mercure were non-intrusive and very accommodating. The beach is for walking, not swimming but the view is very nice. The rooms were great too and very clean. There are mosquitoes on the grounds so use insect repellant when you leave your room.

In a couple days I will be going back to one of the most beautiful & best kept resorts I've been to. I'll be staying at the MERCURE St Martin for 23 days with around 20 of my girlfriends. This place takes very good care of its guests, delivery the high end customer service I'm accustomed to. They also have great security gates & security personal leaving me feeling very safe:) The food and restaurant is incredible with its water view. I love the wifi capabilities and strong A/C. As a professiona... Read more

I stayed in this hotel for the last week and had the most amazing experience. The staff are very friendly and the hotel itself is very clean and modern. Our room was nice a spacious and cleaned to a high standard everyday. I love the artwork around the hotel. I think it's a really nice touch. Secondly the food at the restaurant is excellent! We weren't all inclusive so only ate here a few times but the lunch and dinner menu always impressed. I love the shrimp caesar salad. We will be back for ... Read more

Unfortunately, our favorite hotel was already fully booked so we decided to try a different part of the island and a new hotel. The pictures looked nice, but pictures cannot always portray a feel of a place. The hotel is located in a gated area that makes one feel anything but secure. The room was clean but dark and free from any type of frills or charm. The restaurant was overpriced for the average food. The staff were helpful, but some of the hotel policies felt anything but what you would exp... Read more

A 25 minute ride bouncing along the winding bumpy roads from princess Juliana airport on The Dutch side to Le Mercure on the French side by Nettle Bay. We entered the compound through a large sliding gate. The airy lobby with its gift shop window filled with beachy tropical clothing and beach bags set the mood immediately. The friendly receptionist checked us in filling us in on all of the hotels many amenities. Our big spacious family suite had a downstairs living room , with 2 giant sofas that... Read more

I was scheduled to fly home on 20AUG on JetBlue. Due to a multitude of mechanical issues, we had to stay unexpectedly another night. JetBlue choose the hotel, and I have to say before arriving there I was a bit concerned that a hotel would have 80 rooms or so last minute. I could only imagine what type of hotel JetBlue was putting us up in. I was pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the Mercure. The room was clean and spacious. Very European in style, design, and decor. They gave us a grou... Read more

On August 20, 2016 our flight from St Martin was cancelled and the Mecure St. Martin, Marina, and Spa was responsible for housing over 100+ passagners on short notice at 10:00 p.m. First, the accommodations and grounds were clean, and newly renovated. My family of 6 slept comfortably. Secondly, The dining area staff and registration staff were pleasant and very accomodating. On the buffet, the food was fresh, plentiful, and amazingly delicious despite the rush of guest in a short period of... Read more
