We stayed there for 6 nights in the end of January. The weather was amazing. We did not rent car and profited hotels shuttle with their Porsche Cayenne to go the beach and Cul de sac for dinner. Beach is very picturesque. Water is not crystal crear but absent marcel beach club is wonderful, we really enjoyed gastronomic luch with great French rose or white wines. We also tried Pinel island but it was not our piece of cake- too much people . Anse Marsel is really upscale. We were completely sat... Read more

My husband and I had booked the Marquis based on the positive reviews, quiet, laid back location, and the reasonable price. Finding the hotel was easy, just follow the signs...Easy to see in the daylight, however if you're arriving past dark this could be tricky. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted like we were old friends. The staff made us feel very welcome, and already knew who we were, which was great. The owner gave us a brief run down and explained how the breakfasts worked, ... Read more

We spent 5 wonderful days at the Marquis Boutique Hotel. It was a fabulous experience. The staff is lovely, friendly and extremely helpful. We went to a different day and enjoyed the amazing food in Grand Case every night. Each day was a magical adventure. We can't wait to go back!!!

Hotel is off the beaten path. Great views and peaceful surroundings. Grand Case is a 10 minute drive away. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Downside to the stay was the mattres. Our bed seemed to have had a 1000 pound man sleeping in the middle of it. We kept rolling towards the middle of the bed. But I won't hold that against them. We still would come back and stay here.

Stayed at the Marquis hotel numerous times. I highly recommend to anyone who's looking to stay in St. Marteen. The service is great and Moira who's running the hotel is one of a kind. She really cares for her clients and makes sure that everything is taken care of. If you are new to the island she recommends the best places to go and experience. She's also there to help with any needs you may have. Overall, we are very happy and really a great experience. The rooms are very nice, clean, and spaci... Read more

The staff is extremely helpful and genuineness cares for service. After having spent a day at an "all-in" resort, the personal and quality service only stood out more. Authentic facilities and a solution for any (minor) problem. Free shuttle to the cove was the cherry on the cake. Thank you Moira!

After a mess at a time share hotel, we switched to a hotel on the French side- the Marquis Boutique Hotel. This is a wonderful place to stay. From making emergency reservations after leaving the time share, the Marquis was priceless (although I thought the price was cheap. When we arrived around 10 AM, Corrine, one of the managers asked us if we would eat a breakfast so they could rapidly make up our room (check in is at 3 PM so they didn't have to do this.).After a delicious continental breakf... I had a couple of days waitover before my flight back to the UK and was looking for somewhere small and peaceful. After reading the reviews on Advisor I decided to give Marquis a try and it was absolutely what I needed. Staff could not have been more helpful, the room was cool and well appointed and the breakfast perfect. I did not have a car but the staff were always willing to run me somewhere local and also found me someone to share the taxi to Juliana airport when I left. Downsides: (there ... Read more

The hotel is very nice and the views are amazing. The staff met our every need. Good french breakfast. The offer a free shuttle to the beach. Our room had a balcony and it was the perfect spot for the morning coffee. We certainly would recommend this hotel.
