"food at this resort was great with a fabulous selection & themes. Super close to the international airport. Pool style water parks were great for the kids, ocean sports only for kite surfers or wind surfers. Seaweed in ocean not our cup of tea. Bar service great. Staff was friendliest here than any other resort we stayed at(out of 3). Kids liked the donkeys.
Excellent driver for the volcano & sulfer tour! Should have saved souvanier purchases for this tour, would have saved packing them & variety was good.
Was very worth while, horse riding not as good here as the north.

"Overall it was a decent stay. The mattresses are quite uncomfortable if you have a bad back dont bother you wont be able to move by the time you leave. Make reservations at the restaurants for dinner and eat at the beach grill for lunch. The best meal for the buffet was breakfast. We went with our 2 children and another couple with their 2 children who had a great time. We would consider going back there if they changed the type of beds."

"From the moment we pulled in both our jaws dropped as the resort clearly was nothing like the way they potraited it on the website. Very disappointing, run down, not many things fixed or taken care of well, and much smaller than it looks online. Cleanliness was decent except for the fact that they never changed our sheets (I left a mark to check) or cleaned the floors once that week, by the end you had to have your sandals on otherwise your feet would be black. The staff in general was very nice, however management clearly had them brainwashed as they couldn't tell you anything to do around the area (also don't expect any restaurants, shopping, or nightlife to be anywhere around here, you'll have to drive for that). Instead they would try and push you through the adventure desk where they jacked up the rates on almost anything you wanted to do. The manager even tried to get us to cancel our driver right when the guy was picking us up, was very rude, and made us feel like we were breaking laws by venturing off on our own. We ended up going with a great driver instead for $100 a day and then he'd just take you anywhere, then you just pay for things you want to do at about 1/4 of the price it would have cost thru the hotel. I could go on and on about other little things that bothered me about this place, I'd consider going back to St. Lucia again as the island is beautiful and the people are extremely nice, but I'd never stay here again!!"

"The location was great in that we were at the resort within 5 minutes of leaving the airport. The downside of the location is that it is on the Atlantic side of the island so the water is rougher with a steady breeze and further away from the main tourist events like scuba and zip-lining. No Scuba shop would make the drive and a taxi is State regulated about $60 one way to Soufriere, closest diving area or Pitons. The breezes did help with the intense sun when no clouds were around. The food was good at both the buffet spot and the specialty restaurants, where if you couldn't decide between two entrees, they served you both. The rooms were cleaned well and all of the staff were very friendly."

"My stay was great, but there were a few glitches. First I was placed in a handicap room, which I specifically asked not to be. After some argument with the front desk staff, I was told I would be moved and upgraded the next day. They did move me, but no upgrade. A few additional issues but overall the hotel staff went out of their way to help and make the unusual problems go away. My only compliant would be the front desk staff. While the rest of the staff was gracious and helpful, the front desk staff acted like the 'mean girls' in high school. Every time I talked to them, it was pretty much my problem not theirs. BUT, the resort management found out about my problems (without me telling them - showed great customer service) and handled the staff. The upper management was very active in making sure the guests were happy and doing everything to make my stay the best experience. Overall my stay was exactly what I needed. The Spa was great and very peaceful. The adult only area was great and very attractive. The food was great as well as the drinks. Would recommend to everyone to visit Coconut Bay, very much worth the money."

"My family really enjoyed our 5 night stay at the Coconut Bay Beach Resort and Spa. This is a vacation that we will NEVER forget and is the BEST so far! My kids loved the many pools, water slides and lazy river. The food was fabulous and the nightly entertainment was the icing on the cake. Friendly and smiling staff wherever you turn and the Kidz Club was great!!! Great place to meet other people from all over the world. "
