This was our second time at Ginger Lily and we still just love it! It's the perfect place if you need a bit of solitude, but don't want the restrictiveness of a resort. We really recommend getting a room on the top floor. They are only a little more expensive, but are quite large with massive vaulted ceilings. We've had room 8 both times (we joke it's "our room" now). And love it! From that room you can also see the ocean across the street and the room/balcony are nicely secluded behind trees.... Read more

We were a bit nervous as to whether the hotel would live up to the description. We've been "burned" before and although the pictures looked nice we were holding our breathe until we got there. We were not disappointed. My only complaint was that after a week, I was wishing for a bit more variety at breakfast, but it was great. Every day they put a different decoration on our bed and the front desk was ever accommodating. We were literally across the street from the beach and walking distance to ... Read more

My husband and I visited the Ginger Lily hotel last week for three nights. It's not palatial but it's a very pleasant place to be. The rooms are massive with decent air conditioning. The hammocks are a big plus. We might have gone out of season, but found it quite quiet (all restaurants and bars still open). The beach bar opposite (Spinikers?) is worth a visit, and jet skis are $50US for half an hour from the friendly water sports kiosk on the beach. Get beer and soft drinks at the super market ... I stayed at the Ginger Lily for a week, and from the moment I arrived, I felt like I was at home. The staff were professional, yet friendly; my room was always immaculately prepared; and the surrounding restaurants/shops were in walking distance. The hotel also sits right across from the best beach in Saint Lucia. I'd recommend this place for both business and pleasure!

Room was good stayed in the large Suite with separate kitchen/dining. Breakfast complimentary is skimpy-toast and cofee/tea/orange juice/yogart but minute portions. Paid breakfast is also skimpy with a further choice of bacon/eggs/toast/fruit. small portions. A/C was somewhat inefficient but got better as it ran. Needs a higher efficient AC in the spaces especially the living room. So much for the OK experience. The heavy set large Security Guard was very rude to wife and I when we arrived from... Read more

We stayed at the Ginger Lily in February for several days. We had a great room with lots of space. The bathroom is also large with a walk in shower. The room and bathroom were very clean and the staff friendly. We loved the pool and having breakfast next to it. Breakfast is continental unless you order eggs and bacon or sausage which costs more. Note that they will not change your room if you book through a third party - even if one is available. We had a fridge, coffeemaker, and hot pot which w... Read more

The rooms in this hotel located right opposite Reduit beach were very spacious and had a fridge as well as tea and coffee making facilities . AC was very good and the nice balcony overlooking the pool had a hammock on it . Reception was helpful and I found the breakfast included to be adequate on a one night stay .. It would definitely get boring if you were there for a few nights Quite a strict policy for anyone wanting to bring someone to their room .. Name, ID etc Not sure I would stay... Read more

Where to start? 1. Rooms are not equipped for American appliance charging, had to share a transformer or charge my phone at the front desk. 2. Continental breakfast included 2 slices of toast and a yogurt (something they should have mentioned before hand ). The offer of a continental breakfast was the main reason I chose to stay at this hotel. For the price they're charging a decent breakfast should be provided. 3. Got charged 73$ for staining towels (which they apparently rent from a company... Read more

This little hotel is the bomb. It's not a resort, it's a little hide away on the strip of Rodney bay. It has 15 villas. It's so intimate. It has a meditaranian vibe. The room was so spacious the bathroom was very large, I would have preferred a tub but it had a stand up shower which was very large. I loved every bit of my stay and would definitely go back.

It's a nice little hideaway just across the road from rodney bay and the police station. The rooms come with a small kictenette. Be sure to ask for a transformer for your devices. The girl at the desk on the morning shift was very nice, the one on the afternoon shift was never at the desk, always on her cellphone and not very helpful. Its a good place to stay on a budget.

This is a very pleasant hotel in a good location. Our Upper Deluxe room was large, airy, clean, comfortable and well equipped. The staff were freindly, helpful and efficient. The included breakfast was ok, but a bit of choice would have been nice. There are plenty of bars and restaurants within a few hundred meters, and shops within walking distance. In spite of being in the thick of it, the hotel and it's pool area are very peaceful. We enjoyed our stay here very much.

The hotel is located in a quaint neighbourhood on the Reduit stretch, directly opposite rodney bay beach. The hotel facilities are relatively clean and the rooms are surprisingly spacious- particularly the bathrooms. Note that the electrical outlets are British/ European type. So it would be best to travel with US to EU adapters for your electronics. The inclusive breakfast package needs an upgrade; The options are much too limited. The additional cost for a greater variety isn't justifiable.... Read more
