My husband and I made our first trip to St. Lucia and stayed at Blu Resort. It was the best experience we ever had. We are avid travelers and just recently returned from Spain. We've stayed at five stars hotels and four star hotels but our experience at Blu Resort has so far being the best. Attendants are exceptional especially Simonia, Anthia and Eddy. These three were attentive, courteous, and accommodating. The entire staff were always courteous. The service at the resort was excellent, it ... Read more

I stayed at this property last year and I had nothing but a great experience. This year I returned with my family who wanted to originally stay at the Coco Palms hotel but I convinced them to stay at the BLU hotel instead. I was very disappointed not really so much the hotel but certain members of staff who I felt ought to be sent on a Customer service training course. Particularly two of them were extrememly rude in the catering/bar area. (They know who they are as I had to report them to mana... Read more

Value for money. I flew with BA and it was cheaper than any other year. Ideal location for the beach. If you go for Jazz it's a 10 minute boat ride. But Jazz this year was extremely disappointing! Stayed BB because the food on the beach is home made along with the drinks and probably the best rum punches. Drink one you feel happy, two you feel merry and three...what time of day is it?? Room clean, service satisfactory and Cindy the manager is a lovely person.

We booked this in December. Flight was a nightmare from Gatwick, but when we finally arrived lovely reception from all staff! Breakfast only and very palatable on both mornings so far! Good weather. Bed is to die for like climbing on heavens cloud. We are on top floor. Looking over bar but still quiet. Manageress Cindi introduced herself and was lovely. We have a few days left but thought should say what our initial view was. Air conditioned room, safe, tv, lavazza coffee machine ( one each per ... Read more

So positives first, the proximity to the beach.....and that's about it! Just returned from two wonderful weeks in St Lucia having booked this through BA, now I know why it was such a cheap deal! The hotel wasn't terrible but was severely lacking in any attention to detail and good customer service. It could do with some refurbishment of the rooms, especially the bathrooms, and some of the staff could do with some customer service training. It would have been nice to have had more variety at bre... Read more

Stayed here for only one night, but the hotel itself was pleasant. It's definitely more of a 3* hotel and can use some updating but it was clean and comfortable, had AC and a nice little mini fridge and a nice common area (pool, restaurant). We didn't have any noise issues, as per other people's comments, but we stayed on the inside of the hotel (not street-side). The bed was EXTREMELY comfortable!! I've read most of the reviews on here and there is a theme. The place is tired BUT beyond that it's great. We have stayed in some brilliant hotels around the world but this is in a great location, staff are fantastic, facilities are great and money is unbelievable. This is a 3* hotel, the amenities were what is expected hot water, mini fridge, ac and safe box etc. We actually got a veranda room which was really relaxing especially during late nights and early mornings. The hotel's exterior needs some updating in terms of roofing, paint and few other minor upgrades. This is in a prime location walking distance to Rodney Bay, restaurants and shops close by. I believe it is a 3* hotel (after comparing this with other hotels in St Lucia) Some of the previous reviews are a little harsh so please read and consider with them caution. Pros and cons listed; Pros - The lobby is nice. - Rooms are fairly modern and are a great size (I stayed in 308 with one friend and my other two friends stayed in 310). Comfortable bed and grea... Its more a relaxing and quiet hotel to really get that much deserved rest. The hotel is set on Reduit Beach, St. Lucia and offers bright, attractive rooms. I stayed in this hotel for two/three nights back in Feb 2016 the hotel is very nice and the staff are also friendly. The bedrooms are very spacious with it's own seating area and also a spacious balcony the only small issue is that the bathrooms are very outdated overall the rest of the hotel is very modern. Lunch and Dinner are not the best but the breakfast was good (as the hotel is right on the strip and minutes (3-4 mins) away from the beach you will have no problem finding somewhere to eat.

Came during November 2015 as a couple for our wedding anniversary. Totally knackered after the early morning flight. Landed and had a pre booked taxi to this hotel. Complimentary drinks awaited us. Although as mentioned, some updating is in order, we found nothing but praise for the hotel, its staff and its location. So much so, we have rebooked for November 2016! We were in St. Lucia for a long weekend. The Blu St. Lucia was part of a package we got through JetBlue Getaways. Given the total price of the airfare and the hotel, it was not a bad deal.. Older, tired, very cramped bathroom. No elevators and narrow staircase to 3rf floor. Bag of trash left by stairs for 3 days. Actual key - no key card. But convenient to the night life on the main drag.

My fiance and I stayed at the blu for 8 nights and we were very satisfied with the service we received. The room was very comfortable especially the bed. The staff were all very friendly and very helpful my only dislike was the stairs we had to climb. Our best part of St lucia was our outdoors activities and one main reason for that was our tour guide who became our friend. Groovy was awesome, the most friendly, fun loving guy you can meet. We felt so very safe and comfortable with him. He tr... Read more

Treating staff like dirt and having them to suffer for their salary. security is not sure at all times,so guess are always at risk. Not a good place for visitors. The hotel is in need of major renovation, too much mold in the rooms. Which is not healthy to sleep in and linen had bad odder, pillows not fresh etc etc.

Stayed here in September 2016, we traveled to St Lucia for my mother in laws wedding, The hotel is very clean in the rooms. Every morning you see the staff cleaning the pools and surrounding area. On arrival we were offered a drink, reception staff were very friendly. Initially we had a small issue when booking it but it was resolved. Taken to our room was on the top floor overlooking the pool. Within a day or two our toilet had issues and would work and was leaking, we went out was out all day ... Read more

Its a nice little hotel, friendly staff, spacious bedrooms although bathrooms a little small and outdated. Needs a bit of redecoration and is a bit jaded. Rather slow service in breakfast. Pool area very nice. Overall you get what you pay for.

Had a very inadequate stay at Blu. Staff were verging on rude they were so unhelpful at breakfast, without realising I asked for a Latte, which isn't an option, and got an incredible patronising 'nooooo' and the lady just walked off. Sheets were dirty on the bed, bathrooms were terrible. Air conditioning unit sounded like a jet plane so couldn't have it on while sleeping. Have never given a bad review on here, but sadly had to for this one.
