Less than 36 square miles, Nevis is the oldest British colony in the Caribbean and along with its sister island, St. Kitts, is in the Leeward Islands of the West Indies. With just 1 main road in use since plantation days, it is a soothing and secluded spot where goats and wild donkeys still roam freely. There are no traffic lights, and just 3 roundabouts direct the flow of traffic.
