We stayed for two nights and enjoyed the holiday. Good food, service and ambience. We travelled with two toddlers and they had an amazing time. The beach is very close to the hotel, so it's a short walk. Just one problem though. We recommended the hotel to an elderly traveller, who could only travel with a wheelchair. The booking was confirmed with the promise of wheel chair service and easy access, however the rooms provided were old and far away from the beach and pool etc. That was a bit un... Read more

The hotel is well maintained and the staff is courteous, room offers a stunning view of the beach and once you step into the room balcony you wont feel like coming back to the room. Bathroom is huge as well. Overall hotel is quaint and lobby does have area to relax and spend time in peace. Food is average.

I spent a whole fortnight at Jetwing Sea - it was so relaxing;much attention to detail has been given to ensure the comfort of guests. The quality and great variety of food is extremely good, whether Sri Lankan or International cousine. The staff are very well trained in caring for all guests; nothing was too much trouble and invariably each and every one of them had a pleasant attitude taking great pride in their work. We went there for one night in my birthday. During wesak season. It was a nice hotel. Nice clean and tiny rooms. We love the bathroom concept. Staff was very friendly. Great food. But there were lots of flys in the morning buffet. Nice beach and pool, but we didn't use the pool bcz it was a rainy day.

Stayed here for a night while in transit. The Room was of OK size and furnished with old wooden furniture. The bed was comfortable and the a/c was superb. The bathroom was very small and claustrophobic. Breakfast was good variety and our lunch was a set menu but the food very good though the service considering there were very few people around was very slow. We were there in May and it was boiling hot, so we spent most of our time in the room. CHeck in/ checkout was very fast.

The most horrible food We have ever tasted . Both lunch and dinner was a disaster with minimal variety and no flavour. So many flies swarmed around the restaurant which put us off our meals even more . The AC in the room wasn't working and even after complaining nothing was done. Worst of the jetwing hotels in Negombo!

Stayed one night in a ground floor room which has a separate sliding door to the beach. The first room we got there had a sliding door with a broken lock. Had to change the room because of that. There were small bit dark corridors which led to the rooms. Despite of all those negative points, inside of the room was decent. Food was the worst thing about this hotel. There were no that much of food options in the buffet. Only grilled pork sausages and grilled chicken was there for meats. The pasta... Read more

Negombo doesn't have the greatest beach, but people evidently stay due to the airport's proximity. The rooms here were perfectly comfortable, mine opened directly onto the pool area and had a private terrace with lounger and chairs. Some aspects are a little tired - some tiles missing from the pool walls for example. The staff were very friendly, and I was very impressed when I said there was a local dish I had been wanting to try, but hadn't had chance to. It wasn't on their menu (probably be... Read more

Just here overnight on a business trip - did not know what to expect in Sri Lanka so I do not know how this hotel would rank with other hotels in the area as I did not visit any of those. I do think that the version of "luxury" in Sri Lanka is different from luxury in other places I have visited. I understand the need for spraying for insects (they sprayed our room while we were there) & I am just mentioning this so people know what to expect.

Arrived for a weekend break, on arrival at 3am we where shown to smelly, damp, substandard rooms. They were like something from prisoner cell block 8 What was reflected on booking .com and the actually reality was false advertising. After 1 hour we where moved to the delux rooms and these were fine. The up grade was 85 dollars per night and boy did these guy chase us down at every opportunity for payment. Extremely unprofessional management staff. Could understand why they didn't wait until ch... Read more

4th property by Jetwing we've visited. Didn't like the center piece arrangement in the lobby. But loved the stay nevertheless. The food was good as usual (signature Jetwing) And the rooms were also Signature Jetwing. Loved the lit up bath. Visited in July 2014

The staff at Jetwing Sea is so friendly and they give You excellent service from that You arrive until You leave. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious and the bed is soft. We had one of the best rooms, number 404, on the top with a wounderful seawiev. The hotel is located directly on the beach and it's great to see the Indian Ocean and hear the waves while you are eating breakfast, lunch or dinner. The breakfast is good but we would liked to have had som rye bred and ham, which we are used to... Read more

I stayed here with my husband for one night at the end of our honeymoon trip. We booked it because we had stayed in another Jetwing in Sigiriya which was brilliant. Unfortunately the room we stayed in here was very damp and smelly. We complained and were told the manager would come and speak to us which he never did. Our flight home wasn't until 3am and so we used the 'shower room' facilities to freshen up. The shower was cold and the water flooded the bathroom due to bad drainage, thus my bag w... Read more

The rooms at the ground floor are smelly and damp. Wet floor, wet walls, and soon wet clothes. Very noisy air conditioning. The hotel needs to be refreshed! When we asked the reception to make a restaurant reservation for us we where told that they do not provide that service, because the hotel has also a restaurant! Food is OK. Friendly service. Good spa.

We've been there on October, good staff service, good foods. But, cleanness of the rooms and area is average compared to other Jetwing hotels. And also electricity went down several times & internet is too slow.

Is this what it feels like to be the KIng and Queen.?...my wife was here last year with a friend, who herself has stayed at Jetwing Sea several times and so on arrival it seemed like almost every member of staff remembered her and made a point of coming over to say hello! We weren't staying here as such as I had wanted us to experience a new hotel together ( we were about 1.5 km away) but a nippy tuck-tuck brought us over one evening for a special seafood banquet, prepared for a limited number of... This is the first hotel we stayed in Sri Lanka and it really set the bar high. This hotel was cheap so we were extremely impressed to see the quality of room and service we got. From arriving we were loved every minute of it, the views of the sea were relaxing, and the beach was well maintained. Due to the long flight my girlfriend and I were very tired so we decided to order room service and sit on the balcony. The food was amazing and I am quite a foodie. Not to mention we were both very plea... Read more

Jetwing Sea in comparison with other Jetwing hotels is quite average in my opinion. It's definitely worth staying for a short get away only but not for any special occasion trips. Overall, the service is great along with friendly smiles from the staff. The food is good but could definitely be better. One main highlight is that the beach is located in a direct radius of the hotel. One downside of this hotel could be that the wifi is slow but that shouldn't be a problem if your looking to enjoy th... Read more
