Have just returned from a weeks all inclusive stay at this superb hotel. We were welcomed on reception and given a very comfortable room on the second floor with a garden/sea view. The hotel is set in attractive gardens right next to the beach and the whole area is immaculately clean and well kept. All staff are quite exceptional, our room was pristine and kept so on a daily basis, restaurant and bar staff were delightful and extremely hard working but still having time to talk to guests. We came back to the Timanfaya Palace for our second visit in January 2017 and several months prior to arriving we asked (twice via email) for room 512 as we loved this room in January 2016. Upon arrival we were given room 262 and informed that the 5th floor was not being used due to renovation work being carried out on the 4th floor and therefore there were noise problems. Strangely enough we spotted people using 5th floor room balconies and we visited the 5th floor and noticed rooms being used.... Read more

Visited in December for a week with my husband and family. Arrived and received a warm welcome from the reception staff and a glass of cava. Room in good order and had everything we needed. To me what made our visit so enjoyable was the excellent staff, everybody was cheerful, polite and nothing was too much trouble - I must give a special thank you to Angel who really was superb. Despite the bad weather we still had a lovely week. Looking forward to returning in April.

Soon as we arrived in reception area we were overcome with disappointment, overall reception / piano bar is shabby with stained & faded seating. Room: we were in 103, Air con was leaking from day one, stained & dirty walls in room, dirty mark on floor in bathroom was there for our full stay, please note that there are pool / table tennis tables right outside the room's terrace which is annoying. Buffet Restaurant: This was the best part of our stay, plenty of choice & well cooked, buffet resta... Read more

Our 2nd day here and we are not disappointed with the hotel or the fantastic service Special thanks to Jack - assistant manager - who is definitely a cut above the rest. Extremely helpful on our arrival The bar staff have to be seen to be believed. Happy always cheerful with lots of smiles The hotel itself is brilliant. Food is excellent with plenty of choice even for the 'fussy' We line this hotel so much we are going to book and for next January. Definitely a 5 star service which starts at th... Read more

We stayed here from 8th-11th January. We had champange on arrival, 2 bottles of water and red wine delivered to the room and a coupon for 2 cocktails at the bar. We had a friendly welcome to the hotel and at dinner that evening. It was my mums birthday whilst we were away and they slipped under the door a happy birthday card which said give this in at the restaurant, one of the ladys then brought out a cake with a candle on and all the staff then sang happy birthday in Spanish to my mum, it was ... Located on one of the nicest portions of the long and beautiful sea promenade. Great rooms and overall decor. Food is quite good, but the dining room is very crowded and chaotic due to buffet positioning. Heated pool is a plus in cold weather. Near to sand beach.Nicely ramped for those with disability. Main issue is that wifi does not work in the rooms and sometimes is very slow or unavailable in the common areas. With all their thoughtfulness, surely the hotel can take care of this problem re...
