Was recommended this hotel by a friend and we were not disappointed. We needed to chill out. The gardens and pools were all beautiful and very well kept and quite relaxing. Our room was great but would recommend a sea view now as we had limited views from our balcony (Room 111) but the room was very large and comfortable. The breakfast was superb the choice was amazing everything possible had been thought of. We loved the position over the marina and were glad that we were able to ramble aro... Read more

My partner and I have had a great time here over the past week and would recommend staying here on a bed and breakfast basis. The breakfast buffet is AMAZING and we both went a little crazy which resulted in us not really needing much to eat until the evening! There's something for everyone - even 'make your own' bloody Mary, huge range of everything imaginable and a lovely area to enjoy it in. (No scumbags either piling all day breakfasts up high) Room service food and drink is excellent and... Read more

We are staying in room 486 and are very pleased with it. Plenty of space in living area and in lovely large bedroom. Jacuzzi bath with overhead shower and separate large shower. The balcony has fab views over the Rubicon marina and Playa Blanca harbour. Plenty of room for sun loungers and table and chairs with brolly on terrace that has all day sun. Staff are lovely and the cleaners do a great job every day. We opted for club vocano and have enjoyed lovely freshly cooked breakfast from the menu ... Read more

First of all I would like to say that this was my first visit to Club Volcan and I had a great 8 night stay before Christmas! The staff were super helpful and friendly and I think it is excellent value for money. The rooms are large as are the en-suites. I see many of the other recent reviews are rather negative and that is a real shame but I do agree the management need to take a good look at investing some money into updating the rooms, common parts etc as it is a stunning hotel with the marin... We have been to many many places around the world. This place stands right up there with our favourites We booked through trip advisor and we may have gotten a better room than average as it was a suite. #210. Huge room. A weeks stay plus flight from UK for two was £1900 The resort is directly above the marina Rubicon which is an awesome place to have an evening stroll. We also did extensive walks to the left (To Papago beach which is amazing if remote) and to the right for a few Km to see th... Read more

This is was my 4th stay at the volcan. I love this hotel but it's really starting to look very dated inside the rooms. The best bit is the free wifi and English channels! My bathrobe never appeared :( and breakfast was poor not much choice really and my poached egg fell apart!! As much as I love the volcan I think I might try anothe hotel next time. Also at most hotels if your a returning customer you usually can request a good room with a view w edit the get this which is me being moaney but w... Read more

Celebrated my 30th birthday here. Never been to Lanzarote before, was a little nervous because of the nickname. It's fantastic. Fantastic staff and food. Room is spotless. Complimentary bottle of fizz appeared in the room on my birthday. Chuffed to pieces. If you are looking for loud and wild this isn't the place for you. We wanted relaxing, sun and shopping and that's what we got. I work in a hotel myself and cannot help but look for faults, cannot find any here. Definitely recommend

Stayed for 5 nights at the end of November. This is not your typical holiday hotel and it is lacking in atmosphere. The entrance to the reception is through an empty church and the actual reception is located in a huge dome which, from the outside has been fashioned in the shape of a volcano, which I personally think looks tacky. The room we had was decorated in a Spanish style and was clean with plenty of toiletries. The food was good but the show cooking only offered slivers of meat or fis... Read more
