Stayed for 14 nights in may 2016 and couldn't wait to get home! Rooms were a lovely size Wouldn't have a clue where 4* come from? Maid service had a lot to be desired a quick slap dash through and literally pulled the beds up to look made! Mirrored wardrobes were really dirty and in need of a clean after being there for 7days we got a bed change and again 2 days later, and that was it for 14 nights. It was quite a long walk away from the main things at the hotel and if you wanted an alcoholic drink you had to walk all the way to the hotels pool bar. On arriving at the airport, the Thomas Cook reps were there to meet and greet with happy smiles. We caught the bus link to the hotel and to our delight they had refreshments laid on and this was a welcoming and gratefully received after a long trip. We booked in, paid for the remote controls for the to and air conditioning and then went to the dining hall for a snack. Well I call it a snack....it was a feast of various delights for starters, main and desert course. Yummmmy. The following day ... Read more

Overall we had a lovely holiday. Food was better than we have had at other all inclusive places and we thought that having the beer on self service was far better than having to wait in a queue. That said - it would be good to have bigger cups rather than thimbles to fill! Pros and cons below but we did have a nice break and weather was fab! Pros Self service beer. I travelled here with my husband and two children age 5 & 8. The hotel is nice the food is nice the rooms are really nice with a/c and kitchenette. The kids loved the water park too. The problem with this hotel is there is nothing around it. We felt as though we were stuck in the hotel every day. There is a bus which takes you up and down the beach but it was still too secluded for us.

This holiday break was amazing. The on site water park was incredible conciding that there was 7 slides in the adult and about 6 in the kids pool. As a all inclusive holiday the food and drinks were good. On the site also they have holiday kids club, standard pool, shop, rent a car, full entertainment, many bars and 3 restaurants.

After reading the reviews we were worried of how out holiday would turn out. However the family thoroughly enjoyed our stay!, Although we arrived late the staff encouraged us to leave are suitcases for them to watch over so that we had time to eat at the restaurant before it closed, as all the staff in the restaurant were especially lovely and helpful. Especially the smiley gentleman on the door! We also especially liked how the drinks were self service therefore children could go and grab a dri... Read more

We've just returned from a week away at paradise island unfortunately the hotel does not live up to its name! On arrival we found the staff to be miserable with barely a smile all week. The actual rooms are lovely .. although the beds are hard and we were a party that occupied 6 rooms and that was a common complaint from all of us. Showers are great, there's lots of storage and a nice little area with a fridge and kettle and microwave. We were downstairs and had a lovely front patio area with ... Read more

PLEASE DO NOT BE PUT OFF BY BAD REVIEWS!!! We stayed from the 22nd - 29th oct 16. We have had the most amazing time and the hotel has been fab! The rooms are very clean and newly refurbished. Swimming pool has been great and the Dino park included is great for all ages!! The food has been different every meal time and I've not had one repeated meal. Entertainment at night has been great, my 2 girls have thoroughly enjoyed it! Playa blanca is beautiful. There is a free beach bus or down the road ... Read more

I loved the hotel, it was very nice and good for children, there was a little Dino area for children which was a mini waterpark. There was also a kid's club and entertainment at night which was great for kids too. The food was nice although I did find quite a lot of the dishes salty but in general there was something for everyone and plenty of choice. The drinks where a little disappointing as the coke tasted really really cheap and the cups where tiny but this wasn't a massive deal and the cl... Read more

We went for 11 nights in August, myself, my boyfriend and our 3 children age 1,5 & 8. The 2 eldest (boys) had a wonderful time, they loved it all! They loved the Dino park, this has a height restriction of 130cm (if I've remembered correctly?) so this wouldn't have worked if the eldest was above this height as the boys wouldn't be able to play at the same place at the same time. But they had a great time on the slides there, and never had to wait more than 2 people to go down the slides, great... Read more

Beds are as comfortable as sleeping on concrete blocks. Hygene levels at this shabby hotel are very poor indeed. Food is no better than motorway service station ghastly offerings. Under staffed and clearly run down with zero re investment going on in the facilities. If your expectations are very low then this will fail to meet even those ! 1 bar staff for the hundreds of guests is not acceptable. No way is this a 4 star hotel ranking so Thomas Cook are delusional if they think this is - 1 star a... Read more

Found our second visit as enjoyable as the first, (party of 10, 6 adults, 4 children) plenty to do for the children. Only drawback was that we Found the food was never hot, just on the warm side. Had to be a bit selective on what you chose to eat sometimes. Rooms and laundry done 3 times a week, staff worked hard .The one thing that may stop us returning to Lanzarote is the chaotic and unorganised airport. When we arrived at the airport for our flight home to Gatwick at 13.15 there was already a... Read more

Stayed here for three nights and checked out. The rooms were infested with ants, my bag and clothes covered in them, such a disgrace, embarrassing. Food quality disgusting. Paid high end in another hotel just to get out of this dump. I tried to explain to reception that this has to be looked into, complete waste of time so I said please just get me a taxi out if here fast.

First impressions were good. Newly refurbished (upstairs) apartment looked very nice until we hopped into bed ....and the wife promptly shot straight back out with a yell. Her bed was absolutely infested with ants (I note that this is a recurring theme in reviews). We contacted reception and admittedly the sent a cleaner promptly. She was just going to put new sheets on the bed but we took the opportunity to investigate further and lifted the mattress. It was absolutely filthy with food debris a... Read more

This is NOT a 4* hotel!!! Having been on all inclusive holidays for the last 10 years or so, this was by far the worst. Uninterested reception staff, disgusting food, tired/dangerous water park, little beetles/ants all over the room, stench of sewage, hotel refurbishments ongoing during peak season, I could go on.... Beware, please read all reviews before booking!

The Thomas Cook rep was useless he obviously needs to find another job as he must be unhappy with the one he has.. The place is filty dirty in the communal areas and we watched the cleaner clean the floor then mop the table with the same mop !!!. Serious health issue !!! When we arrived our room was dirty, cleaner was sent to clean it again and that was a waste of time !!! This hotel is just OK. I think if there were more staff to tidy away the litter, (clearly the clientele wouldn't consider putting their litter in the bins) then the hotel would appear a lot nicer. The smell of raw sewage around the children's pool is off putting too The food selection is ok, we enjoyed our meals but do get a bit boring after a few days, the Chinese restaurant has very very few dishes, I think so much more could be made of this. Firstly I'm going to say I can't believe how far off the mark some of the reviews are on here. The food is fine. It varies each night with different themes. Mexican. Spanish. International. Indian. There are some constants each night. Such as chips, salads, cooked meats and cheeses. But there is a different meal you could have each night. The dessert pasties are very very nice. Or you could just stick with the ice creams, yoghurts and sauces! Breakfast is excellent. Good select of food and rand... Read more
