Stopped here on our journey to Portugal. Excellent hotel in all ways from the reception to our room. Which was immaculate, well decorated and comfortable. Lovely comfortable bed and excellent bed linen. Free wifi could not fault it. We had our dog with us who was given a welcoming gift of play toy and treats - fantastic. Just opposite the hotel is a park which was just right to exercise the dog. We are going to use this hotel for all of our trips to Portugal. Well done Novotel Valladolid. One w... Read more

Could not fault this hotel. Had a suite which was very spacious, clean and quiet. Staff were helpful and spoke English. Only complaint was that parking was a little expensive at 12 euro per night and they charge 20 euro per night for the dog, but at least they allow dogs. Very comfortable stay. TIP : Access to the motorways was good. If you use Google maps for directions don't turn into Av Medina del Campo from Avda Salamanca as you can't turn left into Calle de Puerto Rico from that street. Ca... Read more

We have finally worked out the best route in and out of Valladolid for this hotel. That is J128. This hotel surpasses any other similar priced in Spain and easily overtakes France. The rooms are comfortable and the bathroom, if a little intimately placed. is very accessible - take note Futurescope. The restaurant is excellent - but as we never eat breakfast, we have no idea what that is like.

We stayed here one night driving South to Malaga. Easy access. Parking ,safe underground in hotel,@12 e a day. Given we had personal stuff packed in the car it was well worth it. Anyway the walk into the city centre is totally manageable so you don't have to move the car again.About 30 mins. Hotel Reception bright ,airy, clean very helpful staff. Our mutt got his own Welcome Pack!! In our room we had lovely Nespresso/tea making facilities plus free water and juices in the fridge. WiFi good. We wa... Read more

A comfortable hotel located beside a Mcdonald's. Friendly staff but slow check in process. It is around a 10-minute drive or a half an hour to 45-minute walk to the center of town. There were 3 adults with 3 luggages in 1 room at it was alright. There is nothing wrong with this hotel but I would choose one near the center if I have the chance to go back.

We cannot fault this hotel at all. The night we stayed ther was a fire in the kitchen and the whole place had to be evacuated. We were all very well looked after and the staff were very good. It was a scared experience but the staff kept calm and kept us calm. The only thing I would say is that the alarm needs to be louder as. It took a while before we realised what it was.

The hotel was clean and comfortable, good reception and parking off road. Pleasant staff and dog allowed. Not much to do at hotel but pleasant to sit out and have a drink and chill out. Dog allowed but with restriction. Oddly allowed in reception but not in bar yet no partition, more allocation of space. Never the less move hotel and comfortable good location to motorway

Novotel is a few minutes walk from El Corte Englès and about 20 minutes from the main square but anyway taxis are not expensive. Breakfast is good and rooms are very comfortable. There is also a garage under the hotel. It is nice to have a swim in the pool after a hot day. The staff is very helpful and welcoming.

Spent three nights while visiting the interesting town of Valladolid. The hotel is well-located, near the Pisuerga river and with easy access from the main road (Autovía de Castilla) when entering Valladolid. The pool was pleasant given the hot weather and the surrounding area was also nice to sit at. Towels were available and the hotel had many families with children (the standard at Novotel and even more during the summer). The room was a bit small to accomodate a family of four but we manage... once again we stopped with friends at the Novotel after a ferry crossing. due to the ferry landing early evening and the distance from Santander, we arrived around 8.45pm. we booked parking upon arrival and our car is average in size, we struggled to get In a bay, and the underground was full we were told..... our friends have a large suv and although parked it was hazardous to access the car. the bays are far too narrow and some are difficult to park in. it does not help when some idiot uses ... This was an excellent hotel very reasonably priced for the range and quality of its services. The rooms were spacious, well air-conditioned and the service from all staff very efficient and friendly. Most staff spoke reasonable English (and some even spoke French). The swimming pool was good, the restaurant excellent. The hotel is situated a little outside of the centre of the town so it is a good 25-minute walk to the centre from the hotel. A good walk after dinner to witness Spain come to li... Read more

Having reviewed several times previously, I thought it might be helpful to others if I simply summarize what this hotel offers. My previous reviews, if you are interested provide more details. Good location for a stopover if driving North/South through Spain, with easy access to/from the Auto-via. Located about 3 hours?? drive from Santander and Bilbao. Free street parking outside the hotel and chargeable hotel car park at rear (open) and under cover in the underground car park. Hotel res... Read more
