We stayed here overnight having had a few days in Castellon watching Villarreal. Very good value at ?72 for a twin room overlooking the shopping plaza at the back of the hotel - no noise at all. Several places to eat either in the shopping plaza or across the road where we chose the KRAM Bar a quasi American Dinner The hotel is next to Turia metro although you need to change at A Guimera for lines 3 & 5 that take you to the airport or the shopping district, which appeared to be around the C... A reasonable 3 Star standard. Excellent location with just a 15/20 minute stroll to the centre and Old Town with good value bars and restaurants. The Turia rivererbed park is wonderful and provides excellent walks. Staff at the Hotel were very helpful (especially Miguel on reception). Breakfasts were great with both hot and cold selections. The -top swimming pool was very cold, but it only opened 1st. May and needs time to warm up in the summer sunshine. The women who work behind the reception desk all switched to English the minute I addressed them. They are extremely friendly and professional, top notch staff. The location is excellent. The rooms comfortable, the shower was strong and hot. Towels were fluffy! Excellent in room wifi. Nice restaurants adjoining the lobby, there is a pool but I did not visit it. I took a bus from Barcelona and walked here, 4 minutes from the Station. Great value. Great staff!

The hotel is very close to Turia Metro Station and near the city center. The hotel is located on a very busy street. If someone pays attention to it choses not facing the street. As for room service and I have no objections. The service friendly and fast. If you want to clean up the room enough to hang on the doorknob card. The bed is big. For me it is important because I'm quite tall. Towels clean and new. The bathroom has a bidet and bath. The room has a kettle and cups. No only the hair dryer... Read more

Just back from a week at this hotel. Check in was quick and front desk staff were curteous and professional. Never waited too long on the lifts. We were on the 6th floor facing the road, we could hear traffic with the window shut. Nothing that bothered us too much but if you are sensitive to noise it's something g to note. The bed was huge and comfy. Nice size TV but only 2 English speaking news channels (not that we watched much). I did not find the wifi especially fast but it worked and it's f... Read more

Very pleasantly surprised, we had a refurbished room, beds were comfy and very clean all in all good value for money. Easy to park in big shopping centre close by with special rate of ?19 for 24 hours. Excellent location for walking along the old river bed and to get to the old town, also had the stop for the Valencia Tour Bus just a few yards from the front door.

Nothing amazing but a great little hotel for the price. We stayed here as a party of lads on a stag do, the bar area is spacious and the rooms were clean enough and fine for our needs if a little basic. The beach is a 15 minute cab ride away and there's a shopping centre right next to it, so there's pretty much everything you need for a short stay. The rooftop pool is also nice although you have to go down a level if you want anything from the outside bar. Wouldn't necessarily stay here for ... Read more

Located near Turia Metro station, it's convenient to travel by public transportation. Old-town is just 10 minutes walk. Bus number 2 is available to go to the beach. The hotel itself is old, yet clean and acceptable and the price is affordable. Staffs are friendly and helpful although we need to speak English slowly. Morning breakfast could be very crowded with students and group tourists. Food spread was good. We walked a lot in lovely Valencia therefore we had limited time to enjoy hotel ... Read more

This was our second stay at the Expo, the first being 8 years ago. We decided to stay there again as we liked the location, right next to Turia Metro (handy for the airport) and also close to the shopping centre for food and restaurants. We arrived at almost midnight due to a delayed flight, and were greeted by a very pleasant receptionist who apologised that my request for a room on the 5th floor couldn't be accommodated for our first night, but that we could move to another room the next day. ... We chose the hotel due to its close proximity to friends we were visiting in Valencia. The hotel is in need of a makeover. It would appear the rooms have not had an update since the early 90s. I don't consider myself incredibly picky especially in an inexpensive hotel...you get what you pay for. BUT the room we were given was just horrendous! First the smell!! Sewage, mold, damp? Disgusting! Not the way you want to enter your room. The place just looked dirty and the furniture looked like it hadn't been updated since the 70s! Carpets were tread worn and stained. Of all the hotels I have stayed in with Gate1 travel this had the most uncomfortable beds by far. Staff was pleasant. Location wasn't horrible, but the hotel is old and in desperate need of updating. Not much to choose from in the immediate area for food. You'll need to walk about 15 minutes to the old city for anything decent.

The room was ok with a good view of the road and the park right next to it, with a bus stop and a metro station only in a 5 min walk it is easy to get a bus right into the old city. But if you want to walk its a 20-minute walk into the old city. The breakfast is nice and just like the ones we back in England, about hours, walk to the beach and science museum.

This Hotel was booked several months in advance using their website as once we had chosen Valencia as our destination this looked the best hotel close to our interests. The hotel is close to much of the tourist destinations with a major shopping venue right on your doorstep. Price per night is cheap, considering it's in a good location (public transport, not too far from city center).
