We stayed for 16 nights at this hotel, and I can say that all was OK. The staff is very friendly and helpful. All is clean, the towels are changed every day, the rooms are very well dotated: tv LCD, internet wifi, refrigerator, dryhair. The beds are very comfortables. The location is in a safe area and very close of the city centre (5-600 meters). From the airport you can take the metro lines 3 or 5, (station Angel Guimera), or you can take the bus 150.The bus stop is located 50 m from the hotel, a... For my second visit to Valencia I have choosen to stay at Hotel Villarreal because it is the only hotel in the area of Calle Juan Llorens, that is a street in the western side of Valencia. The street is packed with music bars, discos, bars and small restaurants where valencian people stay until late in the night. I like this location because there is a lot of life but very few tourists, even if it is only15 minutes walking from main tourist attractions like Mercado Central, Plaza del Ayuntamento... Read more

We had no plans in staying in Valencia as we were headed primarily to Granada from Barcelona. However as it got late we had to stay in Valencia and just happened on this hotel by accident as we came into the city. The room was just adequate and sufficed for the night. For someone interested in staying downtown this hotel is not bad for the price and location. There is paid parking available and if you luck out as we did, parking can be free in the side streets. Hotel staff was friendly and... Read more

I stayed in the Hotel Villarreal as a solo traveller for 3 nights. The hotel was very good. The rooms are clean and well decorated it was however on the smaller side. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The breakfast in the morning was not a buffet style with guests getting either croissant or toast and only 1 hot drink. The breakfast room was quiet small so some guests had to share tables. The only problem I encountered was the location. I had an evening out in the centre of the old town... Read more

I stayed at this hotel in March 2012 during the fantastic festival of Las Fallas. The people were extremely friendly and helpful, with a great sense of humour. It is a small hotel only 10 minutes from the Town Hall Square - superbly situated. The rooms are basic but they are absolutely perfect for what is a week of just sleeping in the bed - during the festival you are out and about from around midday until 3/4am (day after day for 5 days). The breakfast is ample and really sets you for the day.... Read more
