I stayed in the Hotel Villarreal as a solo traveller for 3 nights. The hotel was very good. The rooms are clean and well decorated it was however on the smaller side. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The breakfast in the morning was not a buffet style with guests getting either croissant or toast and only 1 hot drink. I stayed at this hotel in March 2012 during the fantastic festival of Las Fallas. The people were extremely friendly and helpful, with a great sense of humour. It is a small hotel only 10 minutes from the Town Hall Square - superbly situated. The rooms are basic but they are absolutely perfect for what is a week of just sleeping in the bed - during the festival you are out and about from around midday until 3/4am (day after day for 5 days).
