This hotel is situated close to the City of Arts & Sciences but you'll need to walk 30 minutes or so to get to old Valencia. Rooms were clean, breakfast room clean. Breakfast unremarkable. Stay away from the parks at night to avoid, um, night workers.

A chain hotel. Comfortable room, bed. Helpful staff. Location at the Ciudad de las Artes y Sciencias is excellent if you want to be in that part of Valencia. Rooms are a good size and actually behave Windows that open. Though we kept ours closed as we were on the rotary side of the building.

The hotel was well located, modern and clean. The staff were friendly and efficient. The one negative for me was that the corridors to the rooms looked a bit drab and shady with shabby signage. The room itself was spacious, clean and airy. The connectivity by bus or cab between this hotel and city centre was good, and likewise the hotel to the beach.

Visiting anywhere in Spain in late February is always hit and miss but have to say we were really lucky with the weather. Because of that the location of the hotel worked really well as we were right next to the park and expo and could walk both to the old town and beach (there are frequent buses to both right outside the hotel though). The hotel itself is very modern and obviously a business hotel (we were probably the longest staying guests that week). The rooms are a good size and the bed ... Read more

It was a nice stay just between the ciy center and the beach arenas. Also the park Turia was just walking 2 minutes. The staff was very nice and they came up with great places to go and things to do. When you rent a car the environment is free parking so that was a good thing to have, because the hotel is 16 euros a day.

The hotel overlooks the beautiful buildings Ciudad de las Artes y de las Ciencias, which are located in the long green park. It offers neat clean rooms. It's in a great location & we had a lovely suite. It over looked the Opera House directly, which was great to wake up to. Breakfast was OK - usual European fare. We never used the restaurant as there are so many external choices in the location. The only gripe was poor wifi. I complained and was told it's only basic wifi for email etc......which is nonsense in the current 'Internet of everything' world. Water went from WAY too cold to WAY too hot repeatedly, even though I was not touching the control. Room faced City of Arts & Sciences right across the road. We just moved into the opposite tall tower "Torre de Valencia" a few weeks ago. We went to Barcelo Valencia last night to have a drink at the 10th floor. 1) it was very smelly, we couldn't stay inside because of the unpleasant smell. 2) drinks were ridiculously expensive for Valencia. ‚?¨11.30 for a cheap vodka and lime. Great hotel in a great location. Only 10 minutes to old town, room was well appointed and spotless, reception staff very friendly and helpful. Roof top bar was fantastic with great service team. Plenty of things to do within walking distance. But also close enough to town, less than 10 euros in a taxi. Did not use public transport, but bus stop right outside hotel.

This was a comfortable and friendly hotel. It wasn't busy when we stayed which meant the atmosphere was relaxed. The rooms were very quiet at night and we slept well. The breakfast was really good. A large selection that didn't seem to 'run out'. The reception staff were friendly and helpful and all spoke good English which made things easier for us! We enjoyed staying in the hotel, but don't have enough experience to compare it to others. We certainly found nothing to complain about.

It's a nice and modern hotel, awesome rooftop that offers you a splendid view. Rooms are clean , yet the cleaning service is done around 2pm, which I found to be quite late ( Especially it you or your kids need to take a nap at this time). We stayed at the 5th floor and at night it's a bit noisy. Also , don't let the AC on automatic, you will freeze . We had dinner the first night at the hotel , and the service was really really slow . There were only 2 tables in the whole restaurant and the se... Read more

We stayed at the Hotel for one night. We enjoyed a walk across the street in the park near the Science buildings. Breakfast was good. Lots of variety. Room was very modern. Service was good. Enjoyed the view from the rooftop bar.

I liked the great comfort of the room, the bed, and the view. Good service. Good price value. Something that I specially enjoyed was the terrace. If you need a GYM, the view is great. Only complaint is the water that drips out of the shower because of the bathroom design

Views of the outside are amazing if you get a room with a good view the hotel itself is great staff are lovely and rooms are always kept clean Only downfall I would say is tea/coffee facilities should be available in the hotel room we shouldn't have to pay additional for this as when you spend on a room it is normally complimentary to have this facility in the room. Also the pool was complimentary use but I believe atleast the sauna should of been aswel. Wifi was Abit useless as the signal was... Read more

This was our second hotel as we toured. It seemed high tech to me. Our beds in the US are a lot bigger so it's taking some getting use to. It was a very efficient room and had a sliding door to section off the bathroom from the bedroom.

Location was key for my visit to Valencia. The marathon starts and ends near this hotel. Although there is no metro stations close, the area is so pleasantly walkable. The hotel is modern, but has a warmth to it that doesn't usually coexist. The room was spacious and bright. The bed was luxurious. A solid sleep with marvelous pillows. Well appointed bathroom. I'll be back. And will seek out other Barcelo properties on my journeys.

I've stayed at Barcelona Valencia a number of times. It is a very pleasant hotel. This time I was not disappointed, it is as good as it has always been. However, I missed the view. In my previous stay, I was fortunate enough to have benefited from a top floor room facing the City of Science and Arts. What a privilege! I love the view, both day and night. This time I was not so lucky (I think it is feasible to pay an extra for these rooms, but I did not ask). I missed it. Who knows next time I'... Read more

Excellent breakfast! We have been there before, but it was not so good. A friendly waiter told us that resently the chef was changed. The new one is much better. We visited the restaurant and could defently confirm that the food now is much better than before. We could not remember the name of the chef unfortunatly.

This is an hotel where I go very regularly. The price is reasonable with adequately equipped rooms. The location of the hotel is good and 5 minutes taxi takes you to the center of Valencia. I particularly enjoy the breakfast in this hotel, with a large choice of quality food and good coffee. They also have a spa and pool that I never tried so far. I tried several hotels in the area and this modern one does the job very well. Good welcome at the desk as well.

The hotel suites were very nicely decorated, the view from the roof terrace is spectacular. The overall location, conveniently across from the City of sciences museums is phenomenal. Kitchen and other amenities were of excellent quality.
