we arrived for a weekend in Toledo and enjoyed the hospitality. the restaurant is great of quality, breakfast is superb. we truely enjoyed the hosted shuttle service to the city and the kind explaination of the staff. It s close to the city escalators on a 10 min shuttle ride or a 7 euro taxi drive. take your time and enjoy the less tourist side of the Jewish quater, find tapas bars outside the tourist district area and enjoy the El Greco transformation of art for his time, although only recogni... Had a lovely and spacious room. Totally outside of the historic area - about $8-$10 cab ride away from things you wanted to see. Be aware that to use their on the hour shuttle, you must reserve ahead of time. We managed to get shuttle to the historic area by waiting one hour but took a cab back. Next morning needed to call a cab because no room left in shuttle.

We stayed at Eurostars Palacio Buenavista while in Toledo. Hotel staff is exceptionally friendly, accommodating, and treats each guest with care. Although staff members speak excellent English, we tried to practice our not-so-perfect Spanish - they were very patient and let us practice. The room had excellent design and decor, the view at the Castle was beautiful - somewhat reminiscent of the view on the famous El Greco painting. The spa with its baths and saunas was a very special treat during ... Read more

Lovely hotel, beautiful glass roof in the lounge. Very large hotel with spa and business centre etc. Staff helpful but a bit stuffy. Very clean and tidy. Try the club sandwich, it's great and only ?12. The children's meals are huge, in fact adult sized! Free WiFi.

This is a very nice luxury hotel. The rooms are large and bright, with modern bathrooms. The hotel is beautiful. The only downside is its location, about 3 kilometers from the old part of Toledo. The hotel runs a shuttle service to the base of one of the escalators that take you up into the town. It runs every hour, but you have to reserve a space both coming and going, which is inconvenient if you don't know when you'll be ready to come back. On Sunday's and holidays, the return shuttle s... We stayed at the Palacio Buenavista on Friday June 10, 2016. Beautiful property, great view over Tagus River and in the distance Toledo Center. Super friendly staff, bi-lingual and very helpful. Have to take a cab to get to city center, 7 euro, but nice to have an awesome pool, sauna. Book online and find competitive rates, do not miss the Cathedral tour while in Toledo, enjoy!!

The service and quality of this property is comparable to a Langham or Ritz-Carlton in the US. I needed a vacation from my vacation in Madrid with my three children, and called the hotel to help me figure out which room to reserve. The attendant was super helpful and even offered suggestions on how to discount my stay. The property is a 7 Euro taxi drive from the historic center of Toledo, although they do have a free shuttle to the foot of the historic center between the hours of 10am - 4pm.... Read more

Extremely nice hotel,a bit outside of toledo but with high quality services. Price is very normal for the level of the premises and stuff is very kind and helpfull. Toledo itself is something unique that everybody must visit at least once.

What a superb hotel with atmospheric main lounge. Friendly and helpful reception, we had a King room which was very spacious with nice views over the river valley. Well appointed bathroom with separate walkin shower. Courtesy minibus to and fro Toledo. We ate in the hotel and in Toledo, taxi ride back only ?6. Large outdoor pool. We had four nights here and would definitely recommend this splendid hotel.

Unfortunately the first impressions lasted. We drove in to the hotel awaiting for bell service to help with our car load of luggage, well this is what is generally expected from a 5 star hotel. Needless to say, not a single person to help or even advise where to park, we were very disappointed especially when I asked the receptionist to help and bring the luggage to the room, he was very surprised at the request although he did eventually help. The hotel has a lot of potential, the grand hall... Read more

We loved this hotel! We arrived really late but were still greeted warmly and checked in efficiently. Our room was fantastic - really, really big with a Juliet balcony looking out over Toledo which we really enjoyed using. We were on the fourth floor so the views were fantastic. The room was clean and well equipped, with a good desk for working at which is separate from the dressing table, and a sofa / coffee table area too so plenty of space. The bathroom was very nice and very well equipped - ... Read more

Our stay was on a weekend when there was a party with loud music that lasted throughout the entire night thus preventing good sleep. Management was unconcerned. Rooms are large and comfortable but with few amenities. Location is remote and not convenient for touring. Breakfast was good.

Large room with all amenities that Americans are used to including iron & board, tv, fridge, coffee maker. Very spacious rooms with doors that open onto balcony for great views of the Toledo area and fresh air. Hotel offers a free shuttle that takes you into the old town area and picks you up. It runs every hour. Friendly staff, most speak English. We ate in the restaurant for dinner and for the buffet breakfast. The restaurant was okay, but the breakfast was very nice. Absolutely outstanding hotel! We booked this hotel last minute and I have to say it's quite possibly the most beautiful hotel I've ever stayed in. Amazing facilities and views of Toledo to match. It is outside of the old town but that wasn't a problem as the entrance to the old town is a 10 minute walk or 5 minute drive. We had a small dog which they allowed to stay and even provided bowls and a bed.The staff were friendly and helpful and the room was huge by Spanish standards. The air conditionin... Read more

This hotel is lovely and one of the best we have stayed in in Europe. And we do travel a bit. It does not offer the baggage service other hotels concentrate on so much, but I am sure you can wheel your own bag to the room for once. The rest is definitely 5 star. Food is wonderful and a mix of local and international dishes are on offer. The colorful glass ceiling is a great setting to eat your breakfast every day. Pool is superb to laze the morning away, and ease of use helps a lot to destress. ... Read more

A very plush hotel experience. Lots of marble and gold leaf, clearly designed to impress. The room was very large, with a huge bed. We enjoyed a very good breakfast and lunch buffet, great selection. Good service, although there was a big queue for check in. Nice pool too

Really enjoyed our stay at this lovely hotel. The decor is all a bit bling, but who cares? The service is excellent. A bucket of ice appeared in our room really shortly after being asked for. Helpful and welcoming reception - they even park your car. The room and especially the bathroom were excellent. Breakfast was good value and when we went into Toledo we had a much less good experience. That journey into Toledo is easy by car and it was good to stay outside the mayhem of the tour group... We spent 2 nights in this awesome hotel, everything was good, big rooms, huge bed and kind service, surely the hotel is 5 star but it's a little uncomfortable reach the center, the hotel offers a transfer service every hour but it's available only until 5 pm and just for 6 person so I believe you can remain without it in peak season if you don't book it in time.If you are available to pay 10 eur for a cab to get the center probably this hotel is fine for you.

This hotel lies well outside the walled city of Toledo, and a city visit entails either an advanced booking of the hotel's people carrier, (6 seats only) which leaves and returns hourly, or a cab, which is about 10 euros. The garage costs 10 euros a day. Reception staff are all pleasant and helpful. Excellent breakfast, and the 'bar food' was exceptionally good, though expensive. Unfortunately, the restaurant is only open in the evenings on Fridays and Saturdays, so on other days evening meals h... Read more

We had a little trouble finding the hotel but our satnav eventually found it. We had a lovely room on the 4th floor overlooking the swimming pool with views over the countryside. The room was very well appointed but my wife found the bed too hard for her tastes. The staff all spoke good English and were keen to help. The hotel runs an hourly free shuttle service into the historic area. This is very useful but you have to book as they can only take 6 at a time. There is underground parking at ... Read more

My wife and stayed here for 2 nights to visit Toledo en route to the Costa Blanca. The facilities are generally very good, but we found the while place lacking in character. I must admit this isn't the sort of place where we would normally stay as we prefer smaller more personable hotels, but the free parking (if you book direct) swung it for me. The free shuttle into town was also a real bonus - Spanish car parks always seem destined for superminis rather than normal size cars ! The main restau... Read more

First up, this hotel is a couple of kilometres from the old town so you'll need to use the hotel's free shuttle or a taxi to get there. This didn't really bother us as taxis arrive quickly and cost under 10 euros. We loved this hotel and found it to be a lovely retreat after a busy and tiring day seeing the sights of Toledo. This hotel is absolutely beautiful with large, modern rooms and bathrooms. While we had a beautiful view from our room, the hotel was a 10 minute taxi ride to the old city of Toledo. As this location was not walkable to the old city it adds a little more cost to your trip by having to use taxis. Taxi ride was no more than 8 euros each time.

Rooms are comfortable, breakfast is excellent, and with the shuttle service, you can access the old town with little effort (or you can drive there). We had a charming girl from Sheffield who couldn't have been more helpful and friendly at check-in. Our accommodation was very spacious and all in excellent condition. Throughout our stay, all the staff were friendly and keen to please. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was good and plentiful and with secure underground parking suitable for a large 4x4 and not having to negotiate narrow streets, we will definitely be staying at this hotel again.
