Lovely couple of gentlemen that run the place, a friendly and warm welcome greets any guest that stays here. Very good prices and large clean and tidy rooms, although the bath was a little small for a six footer. I arrived quite late on my first night, but they soon knocked up a salad, some eggs and bacon. Great service, and there is a bar area also. My room on the second floor was facing towards the sea, so it was wonderful to wake up in the morning and enjoy the sunrise. Situated a 10 minute d... Incredibly friendly and hospitable staff. Location of the hotel is absolutely amazing and clean. Parking is rather big and free. Wifi works very well everywhere at the territory of the hotel. The rooms are very clean. The hotel is rather simple and at the same time is very authentic, charming and comfortable. The breakfast includes only rolls and croissants, jams and coffee. Therefore we were buying yogurts and cheese, so our breakfast was completely full. The best choice for this price! I will... Read more

Very good location close to beach and to centre of Tarragona (approx 4km to centre), but in the same time little on side of the crowdy places. Personel - super nice and very helpful always happy to help :) Free parking space (parking quite expensive in centre of Tarragona so its handy and still close to everything). Beautiful views from the room and lovely walks nearby!!! Very clean. FREE wifi in entire hotel. Only issue - hotel is little noisy, you can hear everything from the next room. Break... Read more

We arrived to a charming hotel with a room and balcony overlooking the ocean. We were lulled to sleep by the surf after a lovely bath (very clean). The room is clean and comfortable. But it's the staff who are outstanding--very friendly and helpful. We were treated to the best continental breakfast. If I had to describe what a cloud might taste like, it would be their toasted croissant.

This is top of our list of favourite hotels, the staff are so friendly and helpful Our balconied room looked over the sea, the room was generous and comfortable. Parking was secure in the hotel car park. Our pets were made to be very welcome. Wifi was good with no issues. We did not have breakfast but there are restaurants by the beaches within walking distance. Overall great place to stay in the area.

We were pleasantly surprised with this good value hotel. Location is out of town - but for us with a car this was no problem. Hotel staff (owner?) very helpful, giving us maps and advice (in English). 100 yards to very good beach (the far end is clothing optional.....) Good view from our balcony to the sea (a block away) Breakfast not included, but for 6 Euros a large (purely continental style) breakfast served with a smile. Wi-fi worked well, a/c worked well, room was comfortable and quiet (tr... Read more

We stayed at the Hotel Sant Jordi for one night during a week-long road trip in Spain. It is an older, charming place run by a family. The hotel is on a busy street, but all the rooms face the ocean and have wonderful balconies. Breakfast was simple, but included all the coffee I wanted (a treat in Spanish restaurants.) Because this is an older hotel, it has steps, small elevators, and small bathrooms.

Beautiful room facing the Mediterranean sea, steps from a nice beach and close to the city of Tarragona. The public buses also run close. Their continental breakfast is excellent -they even serve light suppers on demand! Clean and well kept, with individual A/C and dual pane windows. Armando was the perfect 'butler' (he was!) for my family.

Stayed here the end of july for a week, it is family run, great value, very friendly and very clean. Great air conditioning, balcony with a sea view. The beach in front of the hotel is excellent, as is the beach bar. We had a fantastic stay and will be returning next year.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Recommended a great restaurant with terrific food and very reasonable just 1-2 kilometers away. The beach area was wonderful with soft sand and clear water. It was a great value with a large room for 3 and a balcony overlooking the sea. It had good air conditioning. I would highly recommend it.

Based on TA reviews I was expecting a better place. Yet, there was nothing specific to complain about. My wife and I stayed one night to visit Tarragona on our way to Zaragoza. The building is a little bit old, however the room was very clean. Room has a nice balcony with very good sea view. The beach is a few steps away, and the city is not so far. Free parking is a big plus in Tarragona.

We arrive very late in the night but we found the hotel without a problem, if you have rented a car that is convenient and the fact that they have free parking in the hotel. The hotel is clean, it is not modern but we love the classic style, it gives a charm to it. The breakfast is not included but it it really cheap, totally worth it. We ate in the terrace overlooking the sea, it was perfect. We got room 108 and it had a nice view. The personnel was really friendly and helpful. We took the bus ... Read more

The hotel St Jordi is frozen in the 1970s. Decor, colours, tiles, glass, everything. Having said that though, the service is excellent. Porter for bags, welcoming check in and a lot of excellent advice as to attractions, restaurants and parking in Tarragona. There's something to be said for the 1970s - before tourism became so fraught, and people were polite.... Our room was very comfortable and the ensuite well appointed with lots of towels, toiletries and hair drier. We had a wonderful sea vie... Read more

Excellent location and ambiance makes this a good spot in Tarragona to stop at. Friends were staying here and we were able to make reservations and a short notification. Close to the beach and less than an hour from the Barcelona airport it is ideal for a spot to stay when exploring the area. People are laid back but efficient in serving guests.
